TigerSafe is RIT Public Safety's official app. TigerSafe is designed to Inform, Report, and Assist users on a campus.
TigerSafe informs users of important phone numbers, safety tips and additional information. TigerSafe reports the need for jumpstarts, noise complaints and the like. Finally, TigerSafe assists users in need by offering a virtual bluelight that will report the user’s location, contact details and information to Public Safety communications officers while automatically connecting them via telephone or text message.

I just tried out the app for a day or so, it has everything you could need for feeling safe at RIT. The blue light button is probably the best feature, since sometimes you aren't near a blue light. As an android lover, following the design guidelines is something I really appreciate as well, and this app does a great job. For something I may only need to use once a year, it is very polished and definitely gets the job done. I don't want to struggle with an unwieldy app while in a crisis, and this makes it so I won't have to.
