Camp Finder - Campgrounds for Android
Great app showing tons of sites. Only downside is there is no filter option for free sites only. Otherwise beautiful app. Worth the money for sure
I was satisfied before the latest update. However, I do not wish to share names of connected wifi devices, device IDs, connected calls and remote numbers as requested by the update.
I have been trying to find old school maps that show campgrounds along preplanned route. Paper maps have turned useless for locating tent campgrounds although I still like for seeing roads. Until finding this app I was getting pretty frustrated. I can use "find near me" feature and simply move center along my route and every campground shows up. Cannot wait to hit the road next week!
This app crashes when I try to look at the specifics of a park (i.e. I tap on a park from list, map, or reviewed). It seems like a very comprehensive app, but it won't work for me if this keeps happening. I have a Nexus 5x.
I've only used it once so far but once I got past a quirk (search engine didn't recognize abreviations) I found it quite helpful. The app owners asked me for feedback and have indicated they will consider improving the search engine as it relates to abreviations. I am impressed with their interest in customer input/feedback.
This app has everything you need to know in one place. Finding a campground as a tent camper can be hit or miss, but this app takes the guessing out of what you'll find. The staff are quick to respond and are dedicated to making your experience great.
Very Helpful for finding Tent camp sites. We have a lot of camping trips planned this year and looking forward to this helping- Galaxy Note 4
Great app except when I click on map view, there is no way back to the "enter your destination" area w/o having to reboot phone. Back button on app doesn't work, android back button doesn't work. Can go to list view but only lists "what's around me", not my original search. Back button from list view won't go back to home page either. Major flaw. I'm on Android Galaxy 5, Lollipop os. If maps wouldn't freeze system, this would be a perfect app.
This app doesn't list the hiker/biker sites at the parks that I know have them...what rubbish!
Just bought this app and it's very basic. For one there is no menu option to tweak any settings. Can't filter searches or anything and there's no way to change the proximity on the live map. Maybe I'm just used to the website where you can search exactly what you want.
Was really hopeful about this app, so I tested it by looking up campgrounds I frequent. I've camped at every campground in the area around Bailey, CO and this app does NOT locate them properly. For example, USFS Deer Creek campground is located directly north of Bailey, but this map places it well southeast in the Buffalo Creek area. Good concept, but can't be trusted until they do some serious accuracy work.
A convenient and streamlined way to find a campsite, with numerous options for filtering searches. Also prominently lists the prices of the campsites, which I love. My one complaint is that this app is (as advertised) only for the United States, but--alas--nothing is perfect.
Does a great job of showing all of the campsites in an area that other camping apps don't seem to know about. One feature I'd like to see is the ability to search a new area of the map by just clicking on it, rather than have to enter a city name. Keep up the good work!

At 78, I finally joined the smartphone crowd mostly because of the apps available for RVers like me who like to roam the southern US during the winter. For campgrounds, this is the best 'finder' I've found mostly because it's inclusive of all available campgrounds that I frequent. Previously, I needed different books for Good Sam, Passport America, National Parks, BLM, Forest Service and Corps of Engineers (among others). No more. This one has them all (at least the most popular). It seems to take advantage of the Wiki principal where users can submit campgrounds for consideration ... which probably accounts for the variety. But since the Campfinder folks filter the results according to some criteria you're rarely disappointed upon arrival ... I hate surprises. The CG reviews also help in that regard. Their tech support, if needed, is also the best I've seen. I submitted a stupid question that I answered for myself within an hour ... but the tech support people still responded ... very unusual in my experience. I had to apologize ... very gracious people (Thanks Amy).
Prices listed were always incorrect by $10 and more
This is the easiest to use Android camping app. I found the nearest campground in seconds. Other camper's comments is a useful feature.
Easy to use and understand. I love that all of the information is so clear and the daily rate is shown right away!
This is an awesome app for campers, super easy to use, great resource while your on the road
Won't even open after it is installed.
junk
This app is ok but I don't think it's quite ready to be a paid app. It's good for general searches but for extensive planning it falls short. You need more options for filtering searches: types of sites, search distance range, save searches etc. Allowing the user to save sites in a travel plan folder would make this app invaluable. Also allowing the user to make feature requests on the app might improve your ratings, especially if you have feedback as to what is coming in the next update and when.
For some reason I can't install the software
This is a wonderful app for RVers. It's accurate, contains ALL the rv parks in a given area, with map, plus it shows details about the parks and amenities. There is a GPS feature to give directions to the park from wherever you are. The user-reviews of the various parks is helpful and useful. The excellent App is one more reason one doesn't need a GPS unit or the heavy RV guides.
List many campgrounds. It's searchable by city, state. Provides sufficient info on each campground. One of the best apps for this purpose.
We have been traveling from Denver to New England in our Motorhome and have used this app successfully in every state.
This app is exactly what I needed for a road trip with no set plan. Easy to research campgrounds from the road. Provides all necessary info. Highly recommended!
I've found so many campgrounds here in California that i didnt know about thanks to this great app i didn't know we had thee most campgrounds out of all the united states. Its very helpful and informative
If all companys that built apps, programs, devices etc provided this level of customer service users would be much happier

Excellent support, quick response to email questions, app works, but does have quirks and could use improvements to UX. Would be great if you could sort search results by $, and if there was more offline support. Other suggestions: listings have links to websites, favorites are sort-able by location. Keep UP great work devs! I look forward to future updates. Support said update should be released summer 2012.
Helped me find camping sites with ease! I recommend this to anyone and everyone!
Good
Program is good but a few areas could be better. I searched campgrounds in South Carolina and one nearby campground was in Yellowstone National Park.
Very useful information in a very easy to use app.
Great, informative, easy to use app but why doesn't it simply include a link to the campgrounds website? Would have been 5 stars except for that.
Simply the best camping related app for Android. A great little tool to carry with you on the road. Has lots of information and the data is very much up-to-date. Fast, easy to use, and most importantly only $2.
This app is a great tool for finding accommodation options while you are on the road. It has concise info on the camping/rv'ing options for the area you are after, and being able to see what facilities and amenities that are available ahead of time is great. The Google maps integration is also nice. I'd like to be able to submit photos and reviews from the app in a future version.
This is a fantastic and easy-to-use app for finding campgrounds, including really useful features like "find a campground near me", reviews and extensive details about each campground. It also links seamlessly with my phone's navigation app for driving directions, making it the perfect companion on the road.

I love using this app. But, currently it will not open which is frustrating as I'm traveling. When I try to open I get a runtime error. Server Error in '/' Application. Have uninstalled and reinstalled but no good. Need help! Thanks.
