Camera51 - a smarter camera

Best camera app for steady non shaky and bright videos during the day and in low light. But you font have a 16:9 photo option (just 4:3) and that's sad for such a wonderful app.

1st of all... Tried to zoom and couldn't find a way, but if in the app and I hit what might have been the review function the screen goes black. Tried a few times.... Black screen. Byeeee

Used to love this app until recently it's been causing me problems. Having he app switched to video mode the last time I have used it causes the app immediately when open it back up and causes the camera function to stop working altogether even when I try another camera app. I have to restart my device everytime. The only solution I have right now is to uninstall & reinstall the app and avoid using the video function of the app. Please fix this.

Awesome cam must download. Cam for ones who don't know how to click selfie. Must download I'm very happy. Pls give updates for this app regularly so that it remain as good as it is and perform more than the expectarions

Great camera app. But need some improvements 1, Shutter sound always ON is annoying 2, Images are under exposed in Indoor conditions

The camera saves photo to phone memory and I can't find the setting to make it save in the SD card. That's the most important part for 3rd party camera apps!!! 2 stars for awesome design... 0 star for functionality.

Would give it one more star if you actually could tell if the picture has been taken. It is very hard to see. Also when taking selfies I didn't even take one picture and I had 10 pictures in my gallery of my face. It would be great if you could clearly see that a picture has been taken and also if it tells you it is taking one automatically.

I see that this app has not been updated in a long time, what's up? Can you please add macro, action and night modes? This app needs way more options and features but don't over do it. Right now it's just too basic and plain.

If you already have a decent phone the camera app that comes with it is probably just as good of not better. For example, the stock camera app on my Samsung Note 2, and even the camera app that I'm currently using with CM11 actually have more features (including the ability to store photos on the external SD card).

Shutter takes 3 to 5 seconds to activate. All the framing thing seems to do is center the subject. Maybe it works better on other HW or different Android version, but not on my GN4 Android 5.1.1.

I suggest to remove the phone icon appearing on the middle of the screen. It just destroys the view when taking pictures. Thats my only issue. And I suggest too that add some effects like black and white, sepia, panorama etc.

Especially auto selfie mode, it always find the oddest angle to match the focus. No option to turn off shutter sound by the way.

Easy to use and stores my pics in the gallery. No problems at all. And no it doesn't have a panoramic option because that would defeat the main purpose of the app.

not given five stars as sometimes will not set the optimal if trying portrait mode with a nice landscape. Still it has improved my pictures and raised some appreciative comments of pictures i have shot. Recommend

Good app, the viewfinder icon has definitely improved the composition in some of my pictures. Better at landscapes than portraiture. Haven't explored all features yet partly because they are not as straightforward to access as they could be.

So far,no problems with the app. Only problem is I need to go out and take more pics.....Dog is getting tired of being my only subject !!!!

I love this camera starter

I've been looking for a camera that would replace my nexus 7 stock since it's choppy when recording a video until I found this not so smooth in video recording but still great compared to Google cam....hope it'll be smoother soon in your next update...I'm happy right now...

It will take when you don't want it to yet. Because so automatically it takes the pictures. Nothing embarrassing I would think as just while your still trying to save your last picture.

This app is awesome, but i have suggestion that you add auto night detection, this should make this app perfect. Love the app by the way :D

It is really simple and easy you don't have to do anything but line up the phone with the box it gets Everyone in the photo nice and easy this is a must cop for all

Cool app for selfies....but hang up problem in 5.1 lolipop version and pics not seen in gallery.

It's a cool app. Sometimes laggy but I still use it more than the regular camera

If you don't meet the framing suggestion, picture may come out of focus. Video constantly loses focus. No paromatic picture.

After talking a photo and saving it. I went to my photo gallery and guess What? No Freaking Photos Idiots! Where the hell did they Go?

I'm using a lgg3, w/ an AOSP ROM. Needless to say, nothing works as well as the stock LG camera for this device, however this App does a fantastic job, super sharp and easy to use. Not missing my stock camera anymore.

Very happy with this app. Takes the best pictures and you can hand your phone to someone and trust they will get it right away.

With the new Nexus upgrade it doesn't save the pictures anymore, it became useless. Fix it asap

Perfect app, but i take pictures it doesn't save in the gallery they are nowhere... like wth... Galaxy S6 Edge

Low maximum resolution.. I have a 12.1mp camera and 4K video. Only lets me use 9mp and 1080p video. Hardly any photo options like default app. Disappointing video feature since it has next to nothing added... Only a lower resolution.

Would be five stars if I could take the picture using the camera button instead of only the on screen controls.

At least I can do a bit of small time photography with the help of this app.

It's a nice app and I typically use it for most of my photos. The devs need to update their app to use the new Google API as the selfie view is upsidedown on the Nexus 5x and 6 (and any other phone with the camera installed in this manner). Other than that, it's a pretty solid camera app.

The screen is upside down. This issue not there in other apps

Easy to use. But the size of the selfie is too small! Does it support full sized 4:3 8mp front camera?

Framing suggestions seem good, but the pictures aren't actually saving to my device.

But it always save photos to phones internal storage i wish to save directly in sd card
