Camaxon Clapo is a clapperboard for filmmakers by filmmakers. It's made for the film industry and is used by both professionals and the hobby filmmakers. Clapo was designed from the need of a professional clapperboard/film slate for Android that offered the features expected by a professional and a clean modern design that just makes it a joy to use.

This is a visually useful app, but it lacks a few key features and has a few bugs, including sticking on the pink clap flash in Dark Theme and not always beeping exactly in sync with the flash.

Overall this is the best slate app on Android, but I would pay more for more features such as quick note, the app movie slate on ipad is a great example I would pay 10-20 usd to get those features, but for now I just need more accurate clock and separated box for lens and F-stop.

Used it over the weekend and it fell short. Needs editable box TITLES (to change things like SLATE to SHOT / ROLL to CARD). What would make this truly make this is if you could pre-program all the shots into it and access them via drop-down menu that kept a on going percentage of shots done. Another good addition would be a counter that tracks minutes of the entire shoot based each shot, which in turn each shot length would be based on the average length of the take.

Has potential but needs a lot of usability features. Some ideas: Automatic take progression or Tap to progress (Scene, Shot and Take). Separate shot option. Customisable layout.
