Note: to pair with my dbpower ex5000, I had to both disconnect my home wifi AND turn off mobile data. The interface is nice(ish), and the image looks great on my OP3 screen. Could be slicker, more reliable and easier to pair but makes the camera worth it for what I plan on doing with it (hopefully going up a sail mast). Just remember all data is your enemy.

So you first get the camera... has a slot to hold a memory card. That's great easy to transfer... NO. has to have a card in to take photos .. but you can't transfer the photos ?? Am I missing something.. take memory card out photos not on there .. put back in camera and can see them .. download App and still can't transfer them but can see what camera see on phone what's point in that ... use your phone .. any help please got some great photos but can't see them unless on camera.

Works if you jump through all the hoops. Fights with home WiFi and cellular data connections. On my new Moto G 4 Plus. Didn't have these problems on my old Galaxy S4. Turning off cellular data let me connect, after I tried 4 different apps. Would never have figured it out if there wasn't a review here telling of the solution.

Had many crashes. Goes in landscape mode after connecting to my git2 action cam which is annoying. Nobody wants to use remote in landscape mode. Automatic download to phone after shot is a pain in the ass. What if i want to make another shot? It will take a few seconds because of that autodownload to phone. Please just simplify the UI for easy use. That is all we need.

For the people complaining about not being able to share or save the files, go to My Files > Device Storage > vcamera.dod you can see all the videos and pictures and then use the built in Android sharing features. My only complaint is that some of the icons in the app have no description of what they do when checked or unchecked.

Super buggy. Had major issues with it telling me that my memory card was full even after first deleting then formatting the card. The app hasn't had an update since January 23rd, 2015! I wish I could find another, better, app to use with my Hamswan F60.

Could be 5 star if you could change your path of storage. I have over 10x the storage on my card than on my phone. Because of that, I can only take short clips. I have to download short videos to my phone, then transfer to my storage. Leaves me to stitch them together at a later date. Such a minor flaw too...

The idea of this app is so helpful but once the videos are on what ever smart phone you have, the sound disappears. Can not hear a thing. Why? Needs updating as sound is obviously a NEEDED feature when blogging, travelling etc.

It works but not well. Records video decently but no way to decide what to do with it. Photos are a nuisance. Every one you take you Have to wait 10-15 seconds to take another one while it downloads. Devs don't seem interested in solving the many issues.

It's simple and effective enough to be useful but lacks a lot of features that just seem obvious. For example, there is no clear way to choose where you store the pictures and videos. The file is automatically created and no matter how many times you try and click on the extension to modify, nothing happens. Actually, the settings menu is pointless. The only thing you are allowed to do is delete all your media at once. Another thing they should consider changing is the layout of the controls. No 1-hand use!

installed latest firmware but keep crashing and having difficulty paring phone and camera. keep claiming my sd card is full although there is nothing recorded and i have formatted it several times.

Hello to who ever create this application. Your action camera are good. Video recording, pictures are just fine. I was so exited since the day I bought this action camera. When I tried to install this Final Cam software, it keeps showing ADD DEVICE FAIL!!!! Im using Samsung Note 3. Please, go and fix this application.

Just wait for the official git2 app if they ever release it :( final cam won't even connect to the vs 1.5 on my Nexus 5 it is junk!

Storage of video files to phone sd card is not possible. Much work to do here for the git team. Git going please.

Works very intermittently with DB POWER EX5000. Not worth the trouble to try to view the video feed on your phone. It doesn't always work and when it does, it's very buggy.

I have a One Plus 2 phone. I faced same problem when connecting via wifi with my phone, fail pair connection. I found a workaround, that, at least, in my case works, disable your mobile phone network connection, meaning to put your phone in "airplane mode" and then try to pair them again. I realized of this when I paired the camera with my Samsung tablet which does not have mobile phone connection, only wifi. Hope it helps!

I'm running 5.1.1 on my note 4 and it keeps saying fail to connect... please help me resolve this issue and I'll rate you 5 stars

Turn off the mobile data connection. Just have the WIFI on and it should work. Got it to work on both phone and Tablet. Works far as well, GF walked around/up/outside the house with camera while I stayed inside. It worked the entire time and had good picture. So far im pretty pleased with it.

So you first get the camera. Many app i download and fail to connect with my camera. Srsly i like for this app. It work but not nice. Must be upgrade yahhh. Please got some good photos and video.

Useless camera won't stay connected to the phone. Managed to get it to connect once then failed to work after that. Utterly useless app. Would have given negative stars if possible.

WiFi connects but can't use the app at all due to constant "add device fail'. Running android 7.

App works without crashing and user interface is nice and easy to use. However, when you download a photo/video, app also removes it from camera (there isn't any option for left the copy in the camera). Moreover, even it works with SJCAM Sj5000X, it doesn't support all video resolutions and cannot take photos (only videos), other settings aren't also supported (gyro, distortion correction...). Finally, is this app a copy of Soocoo app (or viceversa)??

Super easy to download your videos and photos... Incredibly stupid that once you've downloaded you can't share or find the files anywhere on the device!?!? How the hell do I share a movie I've downloaded???

Not very reliable and this app does not allow videos to be download to phone memory for video editing. I would like to see this improved.

It remembers to the WiFi settings and password so you don't need to connect it before you start the app. You can also see the preview pic and have some basic set points. It works booth on my Note 4 and my Moto E on Cyanogen Mod ROM.

SJ7000 Firmware 10-7-2015 Wifi shows while "holding Up button" on side while powering up. Pairs fine, no sound recording though :( was able to transfer one small video via wifi via Pictures icon, another in preview view shows a Down arrow in a box this attempts a download of all files I think but fails at 47% brand new Samsung Class 10 Evo MicroSD only short clips so far, you can record and charge at the same time, I Can't take Still Images?

This app worked ok on my phone (droid mini running 4.4), but lack of a manual or good directions hurts the score. Many buttons are just icons with no description of what they actually do. Also having issues exporting videos from finalcam directly to my phone.

App works well for 'SJ7000' on my Sony Z3, no major time delay between devices, connects well and does the job. Would give 5 star however no sound and I am unable to transfer images and videos to my phone memory / SD... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ALLOW THIS FEATURE!!

Does not show video stream from camera on Lenovo K900 (Intel CPU). Instead of the video infinitely flashes between initial red screen with logo and empty grey background.

Too many issues. 1-Does not work with Android 3.2 or 3.1 (which my tablet and phone uses) worked with my work phone that is running Android 4.1 (although I can't use it for personal use so I had to delete it). 2-No support 3-Does not have all the resolutions available to my camera (missing half or more of the resolution and fps settings). 4-Not easy to use 5-Lack basic setting features for the device plus more (like lag and connection issues) but these are my top 5 Could not run it through to see if it was stable. I am hoping either this software or another software comes to my camera. As it is this software is useless for many of the newer action camera users. This APP is can only be considered BTW APP (Bettre Than Nothing) and is just that BTW (maybe) for those that have a phone or tablet that the software actually works with. I wish there was source code &/or specs on communicating with the camera so that others could take a shot at doing at least an OK job as this is definitely close to worthless for those who actually can run the app

It is the 31 may 2016 and I just received my gitup2 with a note stating that you will have your app within four to six weeks. Yet you display on your packaging and advertisements that you already do, damned dishonest. I saw a video today with some other poor mug opening his gitup2 with exactly the same within and that video was dated in the middle of November last year. WTF? This app doesn't work, it plays video with no audio, VLC plays audio but the picture is still. I want a refund of my money is spent on this awful camera. There! I know this is a third party app, but I need to vent!

Many user experience issues, can only save to internal memory, sharing doesn't work from the app (seems some custom garbage instead of using the Android sharing system).

This app does not work on samsung galaxy S5. Please sort this problem out!

Doesn't help to take good photos or video recording goes on and off without me doing anything. My camera was struggling between the lagging and heated up real quick. Is that normal? Why is it in landscape too? It's so hard to navigate. No instruction. Tried the app 3 times. I hate it!

I bought the latest version of GITUP 2 and inside the package I found a note saying that they're sorry but the original app of GITUP 2 is still under construction but I can download another app which is this finalcam. But this one cannot connect with my GITUP 2 . Is there any update or something else so I can fix this issue ? Thanks

Got the EX5000 read the manual to connect it to phone and it tells me to download the app yet when I hit add device and put in the password like manual says too but get a "add device fail" so at this point there is no way to use the wifi function

Everytime I attempt to connect I get an error message "Unsupported this device". Then it disables my wifi, until I exit the app, then my wifi turns back on after exiting. Not to mention the WEP on my camera is only 5 characters, but the app requires a minimum of 8 characters. Product spec says to use this app, but this app doesn't support the camera. Both app and camera are garbage.

Won't pair with gitup git2 and samsung galaxy note4. Gitup better git busy on making there own mobile app. They have been promising a mobile app for months.
