TripBudget

This app is good, and has the potential to be great, with an enormous amount of functions, but it's not finished. Unfortunately there haven't been any updates for years. The UI looks good, but isn't always functional, with parts of the screen invisible, and there is no cloud synching. Fix that, and I'll give 5 stars. Now it's pretty useless.

But found it hard to change wallets and is there somewhere i can input the exchange rate? Just checked my totals and its not showing them. Lots missing so this app is no use to me

It does exactly what I want. Easy to use. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the scrolling. It jumps around instead of scrolling up or down, very annoying.

Very beautiful design but very difficult to read the super slim font when they are superimposed on the background screen at the same time

After 6 days travelling abroad and recording ALL my expenses on this app, eveything was gone! Do not rely on it.

Window is stuck in the first 2 categories and cannot scroll down to other items.

But why is there no update for a long time? Has the dev stopped developing it further?

It IS still a great app for me, thus 5 stars but the developer no longer gives updates. He didn't reply my email. Cloud sync feature is not available even though promised. So sad.

So far it's good but can't find a way to add certain dates from the start to the end of my trip plus can't write in Arabic finally i prefer if i could save that app to mobile SD rather than using phone storage..thank you

I am currently using this app to help budget my trip through Southeast Asia and it's so convenient to add what I spend in local currency and have in automatically convert to US dollars. Wonderful app, great UI and can't wait to see it continue to develop

This is what we want. It just does the job right. You dont have to spend too much time to learn how the app work. Just log what you plan and what you really spend in each categories. Beautiful ui is a plus. The app like this make you feel want to support developers. I'll buy the pro version :)

It just allows you to key-in planned costs, without being able to specify time to spend - this is not planning, just a recording. I feel the UI weird, although they may claim specially styled. You need some time to get used to it. Anyway after trying to make my trip budget it doesn't come what I need. Uninstalled already

Has exactly what I need and nothing more to plan a 2 month long eurotrip and track my expenses. I can easily compare spending plan to actual spending and it automatically adjusts currency rates. I love it and expect to use it a lot this summer.

Love it... tells you your spending as you go along so you can stay on budget!

A nice addition to print out or email a report at the end of the trip would be great.

At 1st UI look awesome. But after a few minutes staring at this screen, don't know where to start. A good screen design should be easy to use, intuitive enough for 1st time user to start using it.

Pratical and usefull App. Having problems with scrolling down menu and can't add any new expenses. Unless I'm not doing it right? Any solutions ??

Could not find how to change default usd to eur

This is an great app, but no updates since 2014. Did you guys stop? Want to go Pro but not sure if you abandoned this app.

Perfectly suited for me and my various trips. Nice, clear and friendly UI. Very useful as trip planner.

I would love a brighter UI, we are driving to a rollercoaster park and the pictures all seem very exotic. You can turn off categories that you're not using would love to be able to change the order of them. Looking forward to keeping track of expenses during the trip. Would love to be able to track how much money I have saved so far.

Haven't tried real case, yet, but this app is very promising. Great UI, easy to use. Maybe unique name for this app is required as "TripBudget" is too casual. I could search "TripBudget" app over the internet and lead me to other app.

I like how user friendly and simple it is. However after keying in numerous expenses the amounts are shown as "lnfKK". how do I fix this?

Good application.

The UI is beautiful and it's easy to use, no need to spend too much time learning how to use the app. I wish there are more categories than just transportation, accommodation, food and fun though. I at least wish there's a Miscellaneous/Other category that I can put weird expense types in there. I mean, insurance, which is a default expense type, doesn't really fit into any of the above categories, but it's in transportation. I'll be nice if you can do more than 30 days for multiples for long trips, and it would be even better if you can enter a total budget amount for a type of expense, tell the app the number of days you're traveling and the app breaks down the average for you. It'll also be great if these budgets and real expenses logged can be exported to a spreadsheet or something. Or... even just exported so you can continue recording on another device... I know it says cloud sync is coming soon, but not sure what "soon" is.

I tried different apps and this one works the best. Ended up buying it to support development. Keep it going!

It would be good if you can select a planned expense and convert to real without having to re-key it. This has been added thanks but when you convert to real you should be able to select the quantity, i.e. if you have 10 planned I can make just 1 real on Tuesday the 1 on Wednesday

This is an awesome app. Super easy, tracks your expenses, no frills, but very robust. Can't wait to use it on a trip. Well done! Update- I am upgrading to pro as soon as I get home to support this app. This will be my number one tool on vacation. A suggestion for the developer... When I log expenses from "my wallet" and then update the source of money, my wallet doesn't update. I have to delete the entry and re-enter it with the new source. Once I do all that, my wallet still doesn't update to delete.
