Freehand lets you take your handwritten notes however you see fit. With Freehand you can write and draw as you would with pen and paper, and then delete, move, and re-size as you would with a word processor. It's been designed to take full advantage of both the active styluses on the Galaxy Note line and standard capacitive styluses, and offers pressure sensitive drawing where hardware permits.
Please don't hesitate to email me about features you want or complaints you have, I want to make something people like!

INSTRUCTIONS:
Note taking:
- One finger/the stylus draws
- Two fingers pan and zoom (the pixels below them stay below them when they move)
- The arrows are undo and redo
- The dotted line tool is select. Draw the select region with one finger and move and size it with two. Select grabs whole strokes.
- The eraser looking thing erases in the same way the pens draw.
- The five buttons in the upper right are the pens. Tap one to use it, tap it again to bring up the pen creator menu, and tap it a third time to close the menu once you have selected your pen.
- The metadata menu item lets you change the note's name
- The save menu item saves the note.
Organization:
- Tap on a folder or note to open it
- Long press folders and notes to select them
- Drag notes wherever you want to put them by touching the selected notes and moving them or moving your finger on the screen after selecting a note but before picking the finger up
- Cancel a selection or delete the selected notes by pressing or dropping on the buttons at the top

Direct stylus input brilliance, simplicity, and not a whole lot of complexity. Just the right features for johnny-on-the-fly note-taking; perfect for mathematical formulas, or Gregg. Plenty of apps clouding if I wanted that. The folder indexing/note creation adds sensibility to what other apps riddle with endless clicks to accomplish same. Artfully done for adults.

I am in love with this app!! Now I can't share any of my notes, but that's due to my phone not having external storage. No worries!! It still functions as I need it to, and it's so much fun to operate. I'm hoping to get the Pro version so I can do even more. All in all, it gets 5-Stars from me!!!

My phone ( HTC sprint 3D ) is SOOO stupid! The phone wont let me do a lot of things. Thanks to my 19 year old brother, he dropped it in a lake when he had the phone before me!

An endless page that I can write anywhere. For brainstorming, jotting ahoc process docs. Very easy to pick up and roll. Took me a minute to work out panning and zoom.. Initially, I'd like some more drawing options and a better note viewing organizer.. ie preview icons, folder icons. If this could be combined with time line voice recording like a couple of other apps it'd be a no1 goto app for me.

Seemed interesting and user friendly, but had to Uninstall. Every time I opened a new note it gave me an error message on my Galaxy note 10.1, 2014. Thanks Cal. I just installed it and so far it's working well. I'll give it a try and will let you know. Thanks again.

Nothing fancy, just a nice little notepad for whatever you like. I have a running shopping list that is so much more convenient than others I've tried, and one that amuses my 3 year old to no end. He can colour, draw, erase to his heart's content in any colour with any size 'ink'. Very cool -thanks!

Usually I use s note as my handwriting note..but after rooting my phone s note was unavailable for my rom..this app is good as my handwriting note..but i not interested with the icon for this app..if can change to the realistic one is better..

Love to turn off the capactive setting and doodle with the s pen alone. Also love the fact that I can zoom out and resize much of what I want to my liking, along with picking whatever colors I like. Gotta admit that 3 pen choices is tight, even if you can customize them. But it works so smoothly, it rivals the note taking app the note 3 comes with. c: Good work!

Love the way you can select a word or even just a portion of the word and able to move it elsewhere or increase/decrease it's size. A higlighter pen would be a great addition as well ability to import a clip art or picture (or take a pic). Another extra would be a copy paste feature. This is a very useful app! Also
