mood messenger - SMS & MMS messaging

This app works perfectly with my dual-sim OnePlus 3T. In all the time I have used this app it has never failed me. Many, if not all, other SMS apps fail with updates, but this wonderful app just gets better & better. Don't look elsewhere for a fantastic dual sim SMS app!

It's using sim card 1 which is off to send, than it fail to sent, after resend it asks which sim to use. Tere is no option in settings to choose sim card...

Love delay send, setting custom backgrounds. Exceptional app, since Go, Handsent, and Chomp have been having problems. Best one I've found and I've tried literally everything since trying to switch. Dev is very responsive, if you have questions. Versatile, the gifs, stickers, emjois, ability to delay send, easy interface, this is by far. The most complete texting app that exists. Two years, never a problem. It in fact Specializes in sending/receiving pictures, (MMS). That is where other text apps fall short. Love it!

I hardly ever write reviews but Mood deserves one. I downloaded this just a few days ago after being curious about it for some time. I wish I'd downloaded it when I first ran across it. WOW! I'm seriously blown away. Hands down the BEST texting app ever! I keep discovering more ways to customize it. So far, it's covered everything and then some that I want in a texting app. Mood even has options I didn't know I wanted or needed. Love, love, love it!

Used gosms for 7 years and they ruined the app and when I came across this app I feel in love. No ads, very user friendly and love the customizable options. One of my favorite features is the one that lets me look up restaurants in the area and movies. Easy to plan dates that way. I do wish they added a things to do section that would show you events and such in your area. This app is seriously amazing and I love that they listen to their consumers. Keep it up guys ????

I don't normally write reviews but I thought this app definitely deserves one! I just recently came across this app earlier today and read some of the other reviews and I decided to check it out for myself. I LOVE all the different ways you can customize it and the emoji's are on point! This is by far the best texting app I've found so far, it's a thousand times better than Textra and I'd definitely recommend it to everyone! The developers did an excellent job on everything!! Keep it up guys!! ????????????????????

I love the app! It looks aesthetically pleasing, the only problem is that it doesn't work on my phone (OPPO R9s Plus). I can send messages, but when I receive texts, I get a prompt from my system that they resetted the default messaging app to the system default due to security reasons. Is there a way to fix this?

Good app..... Sure! I'm just curious to know if/how the emoticon(?) bar is able to be deactivated or turned off? It is the grey bar found in between the chat window and auto-word correction/generating area. The area I'm referring to contains a purple circle with 3 aligned squares and a tilted square (diamond) in the top right quadrant. If it cannot be deactivated that is fine--the app is otherwise great. Thanks!

At first I was hesitant to download this app because I've tried every messaging app available and only textra somewhat did the job. Until now...this app is amazing. I love customization and this app has tons of it, including fonts. ???????????? keep up the good work devs. Hope there's an update soon.

A great messaging app with cool features. Everything is customizable, but the one thing that's in my way is the Services tab right on the text bar. It sits next to the + sign which shows you all the additional features you can send. What drives me mad is that there is a Services bubble in the + section. Why have both? I know out of everything there this is the least likely feature I am going to use. And to go the extra length, there is a location feature as well so maybe have an option to hide it? Please and Thank You

Best sms for me thus far. It has a great UI and private box. Only thing id like is to use a theme and apply dark background to chat list. UPDATE: still the best sms app. REQUEST: would it be possible to add a parental control password to the browser? I'd like to disable mood browser by password.

It's a great and beautiful app. It doesn't seem to be slowing anything down. No stupid adds and stuff. But for me sometimes there is no notification sound or lights when I receive a text. So I'm getting text that I don't even know about unless I check. Other than that it is over all a great texting app.

Hello, I like mood app and in love with it. As everyone knows nothing is perfect in this world, so I would like to request a feature. I like folder feature and it's organizing of contacts and unknown numbers. I would like the addition of feature that if I reply to an unknown number it should automatically move to my contacts folders. I know this would be weird to listen but it would be an amazing feature. Thanks (& sorry if i was not able to you understand clearly as of my weak english)

After the latest update I continue to have issues, so much so I'm ready to uninstall and get a different app. After I read a text it shows that I still haven't read it. I have tried marking as all read, and that didn't work. I have restarted my phone, taken battery out and nothing works. Another issue I have is mms is very very slow in receiving texts. If it has pics, forget about it. I have to wait up to 5 minutes. I have Verizon and in a great service area. Previous text apps had never given me this issue. This was an issue since I installed a long time ago. Not with latest update. I like the customization this app offers but not the headaches.

Wow. What a fantastic job the people who created this app did. I am so amazed at all the features this text messaging app has. I absolutely love the enlarged emojis. I love the fact that I can customize my text message bubbles. The text message delay is the best thing ever. So for months I've been looking for an app that has that feature. I usually never do reviews. But I felt inclined to do one. I've been telling all my friends to download it. Also they have no ads. Another thing, I didn't even know they had private text messaging I'm here. Came here to do a review and found out another cool feature lol love it

The problem i faced from few day that i send the messages but they're stuck not delivered from my phone untill i close the application and open it again.. as the application opened after closing the all the messages are stuck starts delivered from my phone one by one.. sometimes i have to restart my phone to resolve this issue and retype all the messages...! It's too much annoying....

Wow! I love customizations and this app has tons of them. It's beautiful and functional. Within a minute I realized I never want to go without it. On top of that, it's free with NO ads. I'm so crazy about the emojis! Thanks to the dev. One request: Since there are so many customizations, it would be great to have a "theme backup". Beautiful work. ????

I have been looking for a good messenger app and I finally found the ONE! It works really well and so many fun features! Love love it! Let me edit my comment. I started sending to a few groups and would fail to send. I would try to keep resending and would eventually send. I dont get ut! Pls fix this.

I love this app overall! The app froze a few times though, but that's fine. The messages send a bit slowly as well. The way you can personalize it to your likings is one of the things I love about this app. I would boost it up to a five star if the freezing could be fixed, faster messaging (slower delay) if I could be able to name my chat groups, and every time a message is sent, it doesn't send me to the latest feed immediately. ˆˇˆ

It's an action-packed well-thought-out beautifully designed texting app. The only thing I don't like about it is, if I want to text someone who isn't in my contacts, it won't let me do that until I create an account. I don't want to create another account I have too many accounts in my life already.

I'm quite impressed and I'm enjoying customising the app. The numerous options are well thought out and easy to find and apply. Mood has enabled me to get group messages via MMS on my Moto Z once again. Android messages did not give me that option. Thanks!

As long as it's stay free, it would is by far the best sms/mms app ever. There should be twice as many 5 stars. This even makes Textra Pro bad. -and with my BlackBerry KeyONE, the hub integration is great.

This new update is horrible I love this app so much! Ppl don't get my txt msgs till the next day. I won't receive some of my msgs because they are buffering for mins I mean like 30mins until it goes Thur and it's just a long txt msg. Some of my msgs won't go thru even pictures it's really bad. I hate it! Hopefully they will fix it! I'm glad there's no Ada plz keep them out for good! That's why I have it 2stars for that.

Some MMS do not download automatically and gets stuck with "downloading" animation. When I go to another sms app, the images show up. Please fix! I wanna be able to use this as my daily sms app.

I have been extremely happy with it until today when the numbers left my key board. They moved to the board with symbols, which is very inconvenient. And now it no longer capitalizes the single i, nor the first letter of the sentences.

Best messaging app. Love everything about this app. And it would be nicer if the notification for private messages can be customize so that only the user could know about the message. Please make this happen. "Finally found the mute notif. Lol my bad but it would be nice to have a fake notif for private chat that only the owner knows. And Is it possible to take screenshots? Is there a way because i cant take screenshots using mood.

I had this app on my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S5 for over 2 or 3 mths and I really like it!!!! I LOOOVE that I can customize my messages in soooooo many ways i.e. diff colored bubbles, diff colored text, diff font and other things that I can't do with the stock msging app!!!! ***EDIT*** I got a Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note8 about 4 months ago and I just HAD to transfer this app to it to use as my main messaging app!!!! And it's working great now!!!!! Thank you so much for getting back to working great!!!!! Keep up the great work, devs!!!! ????☺️

This messaging app is by far the best I've ever ran across. It has very customizable interface, it is very easy to understand the controls and options. I'm able to customize not only the font, but also the background and the UI colors. There are several different options that are available for you to use, such as night mode which comes in handy when you're trying to save battery. It also has an option that I've never heard of before, it's called the party option. I think we've all been out having fun with friends, and we accidentally send the wrong text to the wrong person at the wrong time, well this option makes it to where when you turn it on, you have to pass a little test before it will actually send the message. This app is very innovative, and I had to leave a review because I wanted others to know just how good this app is. I highly recommend it, and I give it 5 stars!

This is the best text messaging app except for one thing. The vibration choices they have are very weak. They only give u 4 or 5 vibration choices and none can really be felt. In certain places i have ro have my phone on vibrate, but with there choices, it's like having your phone on silent. They need to make a feature where u can create your own vibration so u can actually feel your phone vibrate like most other text apps now have. If they would add the create your own vibration, this would b the perfect text app

The best SMS app I have EVER used. Love me the customizations. Works like default SMS but better. I don't have a good phone signal at work and miss messages from other apps. Not this one they all come through like a champ.

I swear with every update it messes up more! It's starting to open messages when it wants, just highlighting messages and not allowing me to read them. Uninstalling. Ben having this problem for awhile

This is a great app! It's my favorite so far. Better than Textra. If you make it where notification badges work with Microsoft Launcher (formerly Arrow Launcher), I'll gladly give it 5 stars! Update: issue fixed! Five star app with five star service!

Not at all impressed with the selection of FREE themes. Also, recently I haven't been able to send certain pictures or any videos, but they go thru just fine when I send them thru my regular messaging app on my phone......... RIDICULOUS!!!!!!! Going to uninstall and go back to GO SMS.......UPDATE: Glad I ended up uninstalling this app, especially after the RUDE response from the developers........ And NO I didn't go with GO SMS, I found a GREAT app, with BEAUTIFUL graphics, a WIDE VARIETY of GORGEOUS themes, that is SIMPLE to use, with no "bugs" to fix!!!!

I love this app except when someone sends me a gif they don't play. They just look like pictures. Thinking about going back to the old one cuz I've tried every setting and still nothing

Absolutely love multi MMS sending capability. Just smashing all other apps. I've sent upwards of 20 plus in a text so as to not send duplicates. So awesome. I have a 16mp cam on my phone so pic quality is crazy. most apps want you to resize or crop. Don't have to do that here. Thanks for all the options.

So far I am very happy with this app I only gave it 4 stars for now until I have used it a bit longer. Everytime it looks like a great thing, it turns in to a disappointment. I like the ability to customize everything. I will return in a while to give an update on this. Update: 12/24/17 I am very happy with this app and am now giving it 5 stars. I really like all of the choices we're given for customization. I have used this app since February of 2017 and have no need to look for another app to replace this one. Keep up the good work!

Best messaging app. Works quickly, no delay. Many options for customization. Way better than iMessage. Don't bother with other apps. Get this one. I'm very picky so .. just believe me lol

12-23-17 update still the same quality poor and voice recording don't work.it record 2 second and rest silent. I'm working with Samsung S 7 edge Verizon. Anything that has to compress ECT.. is a problem. Videoity is very poor It's worst than my factory video. Please can you guys work on the video quality? And the sounds in the video is a bit distorted and sounds like a robot. Other than that. it's a good app. Thank you.

Its a good app but you wont be able to send a message to anyone whos number is not on your contact lists. For me it makes this app useless. Troublesome that i need to save that person number first in my contacts to beable to send a message to that person.

This app keeps getting better and better. I have been using it for almost a year, and it is by far, the best messaging app available, and it is not even close. Please make for iPhone. I have iPhone as a second mobile for work, but HATE it, and HATE the stock messaging app that goes with it.
