Retirement Planner for Android
Not impressed
Latest advertisements cause the screen to jitter and make the app unusable. Fix app so it can be used
Weak in features, and difficult to navigate. The interface is ugly, a need poorly designed. I gave it an honest try, but uninstalled it. Much, much better retirement calculators are available on the internet.
Now I see what I ve at retirement.
how i can save
The app can't take into account you being a retard. I'm on track to have 4.3 million at 65, and I can blow that by 66 and jump off a bridge destitute at 67. It tells you you're on track because it assumes you understand you want to die of old age and it assumes if you can't afford to eat at $1000/plate restaurants now, that you won't in retirement. If you are trying to live like a multi-millionaire in retirement but only saving 5k/yr, then you will work until you're 130 lol
I don't like the app. They have rightly mentioned, the calculations are not guarenteed and intact they are not accurate. Whatever I enter, itsays I am on track though I know I am not. It does not know my lifestyle, conservative or extravagent and predicts that my savings will be fine which is notcorrect. With my 5 k saving every year, in next 30 years I will be worth around half million with 5% return which can beblown in 5 years with my lifestyle but the tool says, is am on track.
Could define whether input values are to be annual, yearly, monthly, net, gross... (ie Income at Retirement... assuming monthly net??)
Need expected inflation as a input (40k/y target is eq to 60k/y in 30years time.) Need cost of living adjustment in outflows.

Yes! This is exactly what I had in mind. Thanks for running with it! I'll see if I can put it to use and give some good feedback.
Just what I wanted. Simple and clean.
Much wanted.
It's okay for 401 K calculator, But there is no way to add in Roth IRA accounts, Separate brokerage or savings accounts. It would also be nice to see how much interest you make per year actual number breakdowns

Says I'll have a shortfall of 5.5 million. I think the math is quite wrong.
