The choice of creating an independent app is for saving space in internal memory.
In fact Android don't let to keep a widget in external memory, so I decided to minimize space in internal memory creating a really small widget:
ONLY 34KB!!!!

Moreover this widget supports new Android 4.2 lockscreen widgets.
