EZ UnEXIF Free (EXIF Remover) for Android
Doesn't scale. I need to do a batch clean out of multiple photos at once. Not a tedious one by one experience
Not working at all. Sad!
Set phone to Flight Mode and it fixes the permissions bug preventing Replace Original from working.
The app makes a copy without EXIF data, but saves it in an unfindable folder
Tried on Chromebook. File browser does not let me go to external stroage. If it does, I could not find a way. Went all the way up the file path but only goes so far.
Just wish it stored pictures in my gallery and not in a folder but otherwise it is great! I haven't verified that the data is wiped clean though.
XKCD 937 compliant, does not remove EXIF data. Only phone model was wiped.
App works well sometimes. Other times it won't process the image and the app won't show up in the share list.
Tried both saving new, and replacing old. No new file there, old one still had exif data.
Only removes some of the EXIF data (e.g. date is left alone), and can't select multiple files with Android's file picker.
Does what it says. I'm not posting pictures of anything where I really need to hide myself, but online privacy can be very important.
"Replace original" on photos on the SD card doesn't work on Marshmallow because the app doesn't properly request permission to write to the SD card. The GPS EXIF information isn't removed as if it wasn't there; the coordinates are replaced with "NaN", which isn't the same thing. The built-in file browser can't go up one level to access the SD card ("Unable to access the directory: /storage/emulated"
I tried picking a jpg from my download folder, but got a NullPointerException. Tried proceeding anyways, but got "unable to process images". Tried a different jpg from a different source, but same thing.
Just wish it stored pictures in my gallery and not in a folder but otherwise it is great! I haven't verified that the data is wiped clean though.
Seems to work perfectly. Batch action is super quick and convenient, it removed the EXIF from 87 pics in about 20 seconds. This is going on all my future androids.
Very handy app, can very quickly remove exif data on multiple photos using file browser. The replace original feature is very nice too. Only feature I'd request is sequential batch renaming as most photos by default are named the exact time they were taken. So say the earliest photo that is having exif data removed would be renamed say "1" the next "2" etc so the user will still know the order of the photos.
Does not erase any exif info. Just copy same jpeg to Pictures/Unexif folder
Did nothing. Had to use another program to check the exif data before and after.. nothing. Said it worked in the app without details.
Using the free version. I mostly use the replace original and export to another app options. Works flawlessly as best I can tell, and I do check to confirm that info deleted. Very happy.
Nexus 6p with Nougat. It is starting and showing number of Java errors. That's all.
Doesn't work on the latest Android iterations, presumably a permissions problem.
It's okay, but I can't mass select images from SF card very well. Very functional interface - plain & simple :-)
Simple and ineffective.
removes bread crumbs which are used by search engines to track every @$%@ location & personal details from images :)
Its a decent app and it is free so give it a shot good customer support also
Does not remove EXIf information
Does what it says without any Basel.
Works okay but need a folder for after I un exif it and am having trouble doing that in my current state.
Though sharing the images is a pain Edit: My first few uses I used the 'Share with another app" option, but on final step, no sharing window popped up, so I thought I had to use the share icon at the top, which just shares ezunexif. I'm not sure if it's a bug that the share window didn't come automatically at last step, or that I was too quick in thinking I had to press the share icon at the top each time. Now I know to wait a few seconds at the last step for the share window to popup I understand the a
Nice and simple, ads aren't annoying, consider upgrading just to support the product, I like it.

TKs for reply, hope to see new features...Soon...Why can you clean exif info. from pic and then if you choose same pic again, app goes through processing and reports 100% complete again, should report 0% no actions needed. No log of JUST what was removed, so who knows, if app doesn't state so. Screen shots are treated the same as pic's that have exif Metadata. I think this app needs to advise you of what exif Metadata it finds and give alist to where your able to check mark whats tobe removed.
I tested my images to make sure EXIF was stripped and it was. Only issue is, I would like to see batch file stripping.

If ur concerned about privacy get this app for ur photos. Very easy to use. Thank you developers
Galaxy Nexus with Jelly Bean. Tried all options. EXIF data including location is still there when viewing using Gallery or Photos.
And does it quick fast in a hurry.
Works great from what I can tell. Only wish there were a way to scrub multiple pictures at once, or to select folders or albums to see rub. Otherwise I would recommend.
Works pretty good, can't seem to successfully handle multiple images well though.

Came up with a null error when trying to select a photo.
