ISO Today for Android
This is a nice way to see what's going on in California and, to some extent, the entire western US in energy supply and demand. It really could use some historical data display and perhaps even feature discussion and analysis of trends in energy and energy markets, but as an ordinary citizen, just being able to view the data is nice. I used to use the web site for that, now I can do it on my phone.
Needs to add look-back to the prior day and week. I'm tired of staying up late to see how the whole day went.
Pushed to your device!
Run several generating stations.
Force closes. I work in power generation and thought this would be a useful tool. Guess not.
Well designed site. Allows easy tracking of systemwide supply versus demand.
Helps us plan our usage.
Helps me at home and in my profession.
Works well, useful info.
Nice app
Demand charts often suffer from server error, no data. Scaling charts by pinching is great, but it doesn't stick: charts re scale themselves when you let go. :-( Also, vertical axis can't be scaled to zero at the y-axis intercept.
App is a must for those who work in the industry. Very informative
Has all the right information and is easy to use but is stuck in 2001 in terms of design
The maps are hard to interpret. The first 3 screens are awesome. Renewables FTW!
Helps a lot with servers and manufacturing in general...
I like to see the electrifying juice flow in California.
This app is awesome!!!
This app should be in every CA natives phone -- good to have.
I really like the app has lots of great info and updates fairly often. I can zoom into a graph very well and see great detail. Only problem is sometimes it fails to update but it generally works minutes later.
Very robust app.
Test Alert at 5:24 AM??? Just turned off alerts.
Don't know why I find it so fascinating, but I love it. It is an interesting App for anyone living in California interested in power consumption and generation.
I am thrilled this level of information is available to me on my phone.
A perfect tool for anyone interested in knowing what the current electricity usage is and what resources inside of California are providing power
Any phone I use I get force close. App can not be used at all.
Excellent app! The only thing I would like to see changed at the moment is if there was some way that I could set the y-value (megawatts) equal to zero on the Supply and Demand and Net demand pages. This would allow me to undo the skew in the graph and get a better feel for how much energy is being consumed and produced overall, as opposed to the net difference between the maximum and minimum values.

It shows a lot of information in an intuitive and useful way. The app is stable and responsive. It could use some small formatting changes, particularly in graphing the demand and who doesn't like more content but overall this app is great.
Great upgrade. Price map very informative.
On the CAISO website, there is a graph showing the net energy demand once renewables are taken into account. I would very much like to see that graph incorporated into this app. Aside from that, I found this app to be an excellent resource. Keep up the good work!
Yesterdays renewables still require browser load. Still not seeing relevant teaching tool potential with scenario bubbles at certain thresholds, etc.

But good effort

Thank you for a prompt and quick response to the app issues. 5 stars now for a great app that serves its purpose, especially to those of us that are in the utility industry here in California. One star for now since the app is not working on my HTC One X once it updated to Jellybean. Previously the app worked great on ICS... Currently I still get notifications but when I open the app to see what they are about, the program unexpectedly closes when you click on anything in the app... I work in the utility industry so this app would be helpful.
On Galaxy S4, app crashes immediately after launch when attempting to access any function. Please fix; would be willing to purchase if done correctly.

Used to work.Hope you can fix it. I enjoy watching the fluctuations.
Won't load on samsung galaxy s3 after latest firmware updates. Also why does it need contact info and send email permissions.

Nice to be able to see how the grid is doing.
