Sleep Watcher for Android
ADVICE: check your sleep history dates if it doesn't seem to match your actual alertness. CURRENTLY IMPORTS THE WRONG DATES FROM SLEEPBOT. Suggestion 1: I don't understand what the Sleep Reservoir line is. Legend with description/explanation, please. What Ifs tab: Percent Alertness, on Seems Like An Arbitrarily Chosen Number, at Time? Other than that, makes sense, doesn't crash, easy to figure out.
It appears ok for day workers but is of little value to me as a shift worker. It doesn't matter how much sleep I get it still says I am tired when on night shift
Seen some complaints that the app had bugs but no problem with moto electrify. If you use sleep as Droid, it'll take your sleep data directly from that app and auto complete the sleep data. Pretty interesting. I like it.
Great in combination with the Sleep As Android app. Sometimes I forget why I'm getting out of sorts and then I see the widget's face about to expire. Valuable biofeedback and a good reminder.
The ability to sync with sleepbot would be the best feature ever, but even importing data from sleepbot doesn't work. It fails to find the log even though I can view it in the exact same folder.
This would be 5 star if it would let u add and subtract hours of sleep. For people like me who wakes up 3 or 5 times a night at times.
Love the app. I'm crazy busy, and some things require more alertness than others. This app helps me plan and is surprisingly accurate. Awesome.
Can't check it during school hours, but this app accurately predicts when I'm fully awake, experiencing a drowsy period, or even late at night when I feel like I'm going to fall asleep! It's great!
I love it. I knew that my crazy shifts were giving me trouble but the simple visuals give me a clear sense of what I'm doing with sleep debt.
This uses to be 4 stars. What happened to the what ifs? I think this app is no longer in development. Pretty much useless and waste of space. Deleting.
Great app, I'd pay for it. However, the interface and design is awful. Much of the information is impossible to read.
Sleep Watcher sets and maintains high standards. The basic premise is sound and is executed through creative programming. My favorite is the slumber face that is the Avatar of Sleep. When you have allowed too much sleep to pass by the Avatar..., well, you will have to find out for yourself! I highly recommend trying it!
After seeing apps that were little more like astrology than useful information, I'm glad I stumbled across this app. When paired up with sleepbot, you get both great sleep traprojection projection.
times are correct but dates are wildly off the mark. if this were fixed rate would be 5.
But over the years with the lack of any updates ever this app has gradually become more and more broken, starting with the interface being totally screwed on HD screens, then more and more things, and now coming to a head with just plain being completely broken. Unfortunately, this is still actually the only app on the Play Store that does this, even though it's not a complex thing to do at all.
It's a good app but they need to change the font size on the chart for high definition phones
The text on the alertness forecast graph is so tiny, I can't read it. Also, the what ifs forecast: why use 3 and 6 hours, but not 8? It might be nice if there was an option to get notifications for low alertness.
Files are there but the app complains the directory does not exist
I tried importing sleep data from Sleepbot and Sleep As Android, and neither worked. Using this app alone provided decent guidance on how long to sleep, but it was inadequate because it doesn't take a baseline. I want to shift my sleep cycle, and this app does not help. It's also impossible to read the x-axis of the graph because it's too low on the page.
comunityI recommend everyone just manually enter times because it does not import accurate dates. Would like to see a comunity discussion so that maybe we can figure out how to use the what ifs. i.e. when to nap. otherwise it makes no sense.
I love this easy to use, plain & simple app. Works great with sleep as android.
Great tool for pilots to keep track of their sleep.debt. I'd like to see an option to save. Something that can be sent via email.
More work is needed, like naps, caffeine, alcohol. Interface needs some work as well to get 5stars. But only one of its kind on the market and does what it says. Integration with sleep apps sounds good but I'm not using any.
Is easy to use and straightforward. I would really like to be able to see several days at once on the graph.
Imports stats from sleep as DROID perfectly and really reflects my status. Don't understand people using star system to complain.
Ok on my tablet, but a bit small for the charts on a S3. Imports data without any problems.
I don't even get the ratings and how they figure it out? I mean I'm very alert and focused now and its rating at a 30? How does it know when I went to bed...how well I slept...there is no set up at all. A waste of phone space and I'm deleting it now!
This app has been my go to app for weeks. its pretty great. I do wish it wud give longer 'what if" predictions.
When it imports records from sleep bot, it switches year and day. September 24th, 2013 becomes September 13th, 2024. So this app thinks that I sleep once a year.
Great in combination with the Sleep As Android app. Sometimes I forget why I'm getting out of sorts and then I see the widget's face about to expire. Valuable biofeedback and a good reminder.
Works just fine. Wish it will tell how long i should be sleeping to achieve over 90 alertness. Thank you for creating this app!
I do like this app, however I continue to have problems with importing/exporting to get it to work with sleepbot. Also would like more info on the sleep graph and more tips to help us get the most out of our sleep. Great potential!
Numbers on graph are too small, unreadable, and don't zoom. What if doesn't make any sense.
I use this app along with Sleep Bot. I like how I can see my forecasted alertness based on the amount of sleep. Seems to be pretty accurate. However, the import of information from Sleep Bot is skewed. When I view the information in the csv file, dates are correct. In Sleep Watcher dates are messed up. For example, a recent Sleep Bot record is dated as 11/30/2013. This record shows in Sleep Watcher as 06/11/2015. If this can be fixed, this would be a fab app.
Helps to see where in my day I am with regards to my alertness and which way I'm headed.
While this is a really interesting idea and a useful concept, the aesthetic execution is just not there yet.
It works again. I love this app!
I Friedrich import my sleep data that I had exported from Sleep Bot but instead of importing the current data it imports old deleted data from another app. Weird. Needs to be fixed otherwise its useless for me.
This app is the only one of its kind to actually apply an scientifically validated algorithms to sleep data from the two major sleep actigraphy apps. While it is basic it manages to get the job done. Please come back Dev, we just need a few more usability tweaks and this app will be perfect. Thank you for your app thus far.
