Café con Leche is a program conducted in Spanish/ English and is directed at the first, second and third generation Hispanics living in the Antelope Valley and any other person interested in Bilingual Communications. Café Con Leche is on the air from Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM on KUTY, Hermosa 1470 AM. This is the first program in the Antelope Valley created for the purpose of keeping the Hispanic community informed of what’s happening in the World . Recognizing that we have a large number of our people commuting to the San Fernando Valley we offer traffic conditions every 15 minutes (last at 7:30 AM). We offer local and national news, information about job readiness, education, health, finances, economy, immigration, civic responsibilities, social services, and any other issues that concern the Local Hispanic population and any one else seeking personal advancement. We have, as guests, some of the most influential community leaders and we open our phones for the public to ask them any question they may have. Currently, there is no other program, that we know of, that provides local and World wide communications, with the quality that this program is providing. Our Internet Connection is www.cofeconlecheradio.com.
.
The goal of this program is to make us the Best Latino community and the best American citizens, through information, education, involvement and participation. We are continually providing information, to qualified residence, about the Constitutional Rights and the resources that are available to them; and provide a window to the World.

Radio Station History
In the 1960′s, for commuters to the Antelope Valley, those who loved “Top 40″ Rock Roll would normally be listening to KHJ, KRLA or KFWB. As you traveled north on the Antelope Valley Freeway or the old Sierra Highway you would start to lose the signal of these stations. Just out of their radius was a little station further up the dial –where you could retain “Top 40″ hits of that day. By the late 1980s and early 1990s, the demographics of the Antelope Valley were quickly changing and the ownership flipped KUTY to a Spanish format with ranchero type music.
.
KUTY-AM became an English language News-Talk station February 2005, featuring local morning show, discussing Antelope Valley topics, giving local news and traffic reports and new talk. 1470AM also carried syndicated programs like The O’Reilly Factor, Sean Hannity, Michael Reagan, Kim Komando, and various hosts from the Radio America network.
.
KUTY flipped back to Regional Mexican in September 2007 as La MeraMera (“the Best of the Best”) until 2010 when it became la Hermosa 1470 with a Contemporary Regional Mexican format.
