I really impressed by the app they offered at the Cleveland Obesity Summit. Being able to see slides that have gone away was a REALLY useful thing to make lectures more useful. Without the slides when they "zoom ahead" I cannot glance down on the last slide, make sure I understand and avoid getting lost as the talk proceeds. And when they digress into some "exciting" research they are doing with 15 complicated slides with graphs on a tiny topic you can go back and review the more relevant parts of the talk or skip ahead and see where the talk is going (is there any hope we will return to relevance?) Once you use the potential of viewing slides during the talk, you really notice it when a talk doesn't have slides. Everyone should have a tablet app with slides for talks that use slides. But it could have been way more useful. Why only 4 stars. It crashed on my Samsung tablet about every 5th presentation (usually at the start). The app asked for a picture and email and if other participants could contact me. Missing elements were an opportunity to tag interest or join interest groups (or browse members in those groups). But they did nothing with that potent
