Sie geben zunächst die Vokabeln ein, welche Sie lernen möchten. In der Liste der Vokabeln können Sie Vokabeln auch wieder löschen. Dort sehen Sie auch, wann die nächste Abfrage der jeweiligen Vokabel fällig ist und in welchem Karteifach die Vokabel momentan ist. Im Reiter Lernen sehen Sie wie viele Vokabeln gerade zur Abfrage fällig sind. Dort können Sie die nächste Lernrunde starten. Pro Runde werden maximal 5 neue Vokabeln bzw. 20 bekannte Vokabeln abgefragt. Nach dem Ende einer Runde, kann die nächste Lernrunde begonnen werden, falls noch Vokabeln zur Verfügung stehen. Wird eine Vokabel nicht mehr gewusst, wandert diese an Ende der Abfrage der aktuellen Lernrunde. Nachdem alle Vokabeln abgefragt wurden, muss die nicht gewusste Vokabel mindestens einmal als gewusst angeklickt werden. Alle Vokabeln die nicht mehr gewusst wurden, wandern wieder ins Karteifach 1. Das heißt, die nächste Abfrage ist nach 30 Minuten fällig. Wenn die Vokabel noch bekannt war, wandert diese in ein höheres Karteifach und wird immer seltener abgefragt. Die nächsten Abfragen sind nach 4 Stunden, nach 10 Stunden, nach einem Tag, nach 3 Tagen, 7 Tagen, 14 Tagen, 30 Tagen, 90 Tagen, 180 Tagen, 360 Tagen, 720 Tagen. Wenn die Vokabel nach 720 Tagen noch gewusst wird, wird diese als gelernt markiert und wird nicht mehr abgefragt. Eine Vokabel die gut bekannt ist, wird also innerhalb von 2 Jahren lediglich 13 Mal abgefragt. Eine Vokabel, die noch nicht gelernt ist, wird aller 30 Minuten abgefragt, solange bis die Vokabel sitzt. Der Vorteil gegenüber einer Vokabelliste liegt auf der Hand: Sie verschwenden keine Zeit mehr mit Vokabeln, welche Sie bereits gut beherrschen. Sie konzentrieren sich auf das was Sie noch nicht so gut wissen. Damit wird Ihre Zeit optimal eingesetzt. Die Anzahl der Vokabeln welche ins Programm eingegeben werden können ist nicht begrenzt. Sie können selbstverständlich nicht nur Vokabeln eingeben, sondern alles was Sie gerne lernen wollen. Im Reiter Statistik sehen Sie, wie viele Vokabeln es insgesamt gibt, und wie viele Vokabeln sich in den jeweiligen Karteifächern befinden. First enter the words that you want to learn.
