CAD Touch Pro for Android
I had five projects all with 3-5 drawings each and we'll over 100hrs of pen time just gone one day I try to open the app ... Now as soon as I create a new project it immediately deletes it and says no content. I want my money back ... I loved this product until it did this.
Im using a samsung galaxy note 10.8 n8000 tablet to run it. Sometimes saved files zoom out for no reason and look blank. The trim function hardly ever works. A grouping function would be handy. S pen support would be advantageous too, as the snap to isa bit tempremental. It is faster to create drawings than 360 though.
BUT not even very good on an Xperia tablet every time I move, stretch, copy a line it ends up adding lines on top of other lines also line types are never the same as I keep getting hidden lines instead of solid lines. I would suggest looking for a more stable app for this price.
Having been a long time CAD user I thought this might be a handy addition while traveling with my galaxy tablet. Though my big fingers get in the way a little, I'm sure using one of my pens would help. It's a nice little program for detailing on the road or in your armchair.
I purchased it and it doesnt carry any drawings, can not access to the editor to draw, i want to be refunded or get it fixed for tab e. I can not import any types of drawings, i even read the manual, there is clearly a problem. I Hate this when this happens because it's a waste of our time. And last but not least, how frustrating it is, is that I can use the free trial version which IS a demo version that dont save your work.
I have 4 or 5 CAD and or technical vector drawing apps and none of them do everything I need. biiCADo comes close, but is a bear to use and the language isn't all English (UI overhaul and now a great app). Out of them all, this has the best mix of features. So far, I've been able to do all that I've wanted to do. I'll keep at it and just hope I'm not disappointed again. The one thing I don't want to do is switch between apps! The text tool is seriously lacking (no font support or other manipulation, aside from size).
Great App. It's pretty handy for doing layout for my house renovations. I've been using it to make floor plans for my house for any future renovation work I'm going to do. Its pretty simple to use. I only have a few suggestions. 1. Make the text and dimension scale lockable so you can have consistent dimension lines/text size regardless of zoom level. I have issues where I need to zoom in farther to snap to an intersection which causes the dimension lines to be different sizes and i have to manually adjust their size. 2. The text scale should be lockable so i can input the size I want, and all the texts I input after should all be the same size. 3. maybe some custom brushes. for example: When I'm laying out walls I am constantly placing points adjacent to lines in order to make a 4 1/2" thick wall. It would be nice if I could use rectangles that are locked in at any given dimension (in my case 4 1/2"). 4. Allow lines to be partially erases. For example: If I drew a line that was 9' long, then I drew 2 lines intersecting it at 3' from the end, let me be able to erase only the centre part of the line, so I would have a 3' line then a 3' space then another 3' line.
Used this in class for my Lighting and Electrical floor plan schematics. Was able to open drawings made with schools autoCAD program and modify them. Had problems opening the drawings I modified with this program in schools autoCAD though. Ended up saving them just as regular drawing files and printing them from schools generic paint program which worked fine. Works like real autoCAD. All functions seemed to work for me. Was using a $100 RCA tablet :-P Was also using the pro version.
Decent little CAD program for my tablet that I can do a quick room sketch for doing a quote to then hand off to my electricians for an installation/renovation at a later date. Good features are layers for room layout, dimensioning, electrical, mechanical. Problems include multiple objects get created when you try to move or copy. I've deleted as many as 10 objects layered on top of each other following a few object moves. Similarly, when I'm trying to move. Another problem is objects disappear when you zoom in or out, resolution improvement is necessary. Arcs, circles, angles and objects I group don't seem to work properly especially when trying to copy. If these are improved I would give 5 stars.
Imported dwg files with multiple blocks makes the program run real slow. So slow the I can't separate the blocks in the file. Can't edit lines after they're created. It would be nice to see imperial units have the option to be represented in just inches. It's hard to be accurate with the scale using imperial units as percentages. I would love to change my rating once issues have been fixed.
Really like the idea - but seems to be no longer supported. Facebook page is no longer up. Requests for assistance to the provided email address over several months have had no reply. (other than the automated - Your feedback is important to us) Current Ver 5.0.9 (dated 18 May 2015) Info is talking about the upcoming major upgrade to CT 6.0 that is coming soon....its now June 2016 Would be very happy to be proved wrong...!!
Could be alot better, using a note 3 and its just too finicky. Check out force effect the drawing function is fantastic
When it's working properly it's the best thing since sliced bread, but most of the time it glitches and some times even deletes large parts of your project. Most infuriating . Since latest update app is now unusable.
Work-around actually. Basically, don't leave any unnamed object groups (Blocks) in any drawing. After creating a group, make sure it is selected. Then tap the "Object Tool" (lower left "chair" icon), select a folder/library destination, and then Tap "+" ("Add selected entities to the library") and give this grouped object a unique name ("Library object name"). Back in the drawing, the original object will now be ungrouped. Delete these and insert the newly created named object from the library by again tapping the "Object Tool," find the object and simply tap it. It will now appear in the drawing as a group object (Block). Since it came from a named object in the library, it is now safe and you can leave it grouped. That's it. Unnamed groups disappear and corrupt other groups, even in other drawings. Make sure none of your drawings have unnamed object groups in them. You'll still have to deal with the confusion created by the appearance of multiple copies of objects showing up because of the "Copy/Move" tool getting stuck in the "Copy" mode. Don't understand how the devs can let these very disruptive bugs go unaddressed for months in a product that has so much potential.
Extremely well done , very functional, and they take reviews seriously and fix problems addressed. Would 5 star if there was more objects to use for adding furniture.
My only complaint thus far is that I can't un-group an object. I have to completely redraw it instead of just editing what I have.
Generally good. However there have been several occasions when the blue print hasn't saved and I've had to start from scratch. There is also a lack of availability when it comes to fixtures and there doesn't seem to be any way to add to the small selection on offer. For example tere are no window selections or bathroom fixtures
Running on Android, the ONLY thing that would make this better for a maintenance technician, would be a menu addition that lets you directly export to PDF and share as PDF or DWG. Very well worth the ten bucks it cost. Add that menu item ability, and it would be cheap at twice the price.
Please dont waste money on this , try zwcad instead its free . This one will hang for huge DWG files. No change in update as well.
Probably the most difficult CAD program I've ever used, and I wish I could say it was for lack of skill, but it's mostly poor formatting and bugs. Custom objects would randomly change to other objects when I try to move them, osnap would snap to intersections that didn't exsist or would snap to an endpoint, but then actually be fractions of an inch away making measurements off. Text and anchor points are entirely unreadable when you zoom in, they just turn into segmented lines. Wish I could get a refund...
This is definitely one of the better CAD tools I've tried, but the UI takes quite a bit of getting used to. Definitely check out the tutorials in the demo version and read through the user guide. In particular, object moving and selection is weird. Objects are moved by dragging central grip points instead of being able to drag inside a bounded object like in some other apps. I think there are a few bugs as well. It's definitely usable but there's a certain level of frustration involved.
Very easy to use. I love it, great for designing floor plans, LANDSCAPE plans and sketches. Draw on top of existing photographs. I would love to use it on my PC laptop. Awesome.
Hands down my favorite CAD App out there. The only thing I could suggest is a way of choosing how many decimals units, I font have need of 4, perhaps there is already a way to change that; and some kind of sensitivity adjustement as I have naturally shaky hands so for me it can take a few tries just to get a straight line.
Great app but one issue. When not using my tablet and stylus I use my phone. Only problem is there should be an offset option so that the curser isn't directly under my finger. That would make it a lot easier to use the snap features and improve accuracy when measuring or starting new entities. I designed a Roman ballista from scratch using this program so other then the curser being directly under the finger, I have no complaints. Keep up the good work.
I have tried numerous times to edit, create or modify drawings but I have not been as successful as the tutorial video. So I just paid for a viewing portal. I create what I want on another platform am use the cloud to view them when not at my laptop. I am not an architect or draftsman and that maybe the problem but I do like to fiddle with CAD and draw new woodworking projects around the house, I'm a reTIRED HVAC technician/supervisor for 30 years. So I do know blueprints and drafting duct design and layout along with gas pipe design and layout. But this interface does things I don't expect or planned on. Some google and some well....
I have used Cad in it's many guises for over 25 years and must say this is very good value for money. The input can be a bit quirky but once you get used to the touch screen concepts it is excellent. There is plenty of room for for further improvements which I have no doubt will follow in due course Well Done.
This app is exactly like the autocad app itself, and totally worth it's price,i tried many other apps,i only hope its view can pe in portrait too.
I love it. Very handy when am working on site. It's lite, quick very responsive and efficient for making minor changes. I only wish there was a feature to lock the drawings against accidental editing. it sometimes happens when am showing clients details.
Simple app, but it's very handy, I prefer it more than AutoCAD 360, at least it never drags or crashes, and l hope to see more tools and improvements in the future, like converting lines into one polyline - xlines- brake lines - improving trim tool... Itc
Too bad it doesn't look like there have been any recent changes. I'm starting to wonder if it was worth the money to purchase an app that appears to be an abandoned project.
Originally it worked very well on most devices I installed on however all that changed recent when it started crashing on my c5 .the dimensions at some scales area in abnormal and unreadable scales. The line at some scales are bad and not visible. Please improve.
Runs well on my note pro. needs more features like extend. Good app for work on the move
Easy to use. Easy to learn. A well thought out app.
My copy deletes half my work & replaces it with multiple copy's of random sections of the drawing. E.mail sent & no reply. After hours spent on the app I have no usable data. The app is very good but useless with this fault. If not fixed I would like a refund please. Paul. England
Could just do with a bit more flexibility with hatch rendering to boundaries or poly lines and with a greater range of patterns, such as aggregates. Shame that it can't save as dxf for those of us who use LibreCad.
Totally buggy and unintuitive. I tried to manage layers in one small drawing and ended up with a total mess and a heckload of wasted time.
Good, I repeat, there a few minor kinks, but generally easy to learn and use. Sections lag a bit. Helps and how-to could be better. Waiting for updates and improvements, but for free what do you want.
It's not 100% without it, and I know how to view it 3d, but how can I make my model in 3d?
SO BAD, the only thing i love in this app is the fact that i can select the lines and it gives me the total lengh, that way i can estimate cost. BUT it closes ALOT and doesn't let you work in peace. I whant my refund!!

It works well doing what I do with it which is to meet clients and take detailed measurements.I can then export the file to use in full autocad. A couple fixes would be nice... 1-The trim feature is clunky and hardly ever works. 2-I would like to be able to set defaults such as line weight. The default line weight blends in too easily with the grid background.. 3-maybe add the ability to have the measurements of the line added at the same time as drawing it.
