Silence Premium Do Not Disturb for Android
Used to work great on my Nexus 6 but no more. Random phone calls get through, disturbing my sleep (I work nights, sleep during the day). Time to look for something else.
Used to be perfect, but since I installed it again on my new phone, the button to switch off the WiFi in silent mode has been removed? I really liked being 'forced' to go offline during the night...
I used to love this app. It used to let my favorites ring through but now it doesn't. Everybody is silenced even though favorites are supposed to be allowed. Please fix!!!!!!!
Works perfectly :) quick and easy to use, with plenty of advanced configuration options available if you need them. And 100% reliable so far (Huawei P9 Lite).
I had issue with allowed calls and emailed support, but did not expect reply. You guys replied to me and we got it resolved in the same day. I had to enable Use Priority Interruptions due to different behavior in different phone.
Can't get it to work with Oreo, the alarm goes off but I can't hear it
Perfect app for keeping the phone silent! This is one so I am happy to purchase, and can depend on to function well.
Works great. This is exactly what I needed for my OnePlus 5t. I used the trial version for a couple of weeks first.
Works really well. I appreciate the ability to let some callers through even at quiet times.
Works wonders with my meetings
Perfect! With the ability to disable LED notification by night, that's awesome!
Awesome, help me get through the day at work.
Extremely flexible
Quick and easy mute
It's good, but the fact the app puts my phone in priority mode instead of alarms only (like the free app does!) is kinda annoying since there's still some sounds playing (screen lock for example) and I don't care about setting priorities at all. Please include an option to go into alarms only mode, that'd make it 5 stars for me.
Working third shift when you have friends, family, and a kid in school will eat up your sanity and endanger your phone. This app makes it possible to sleep, keep your phone, and know you won't miss a call from the school office.
Latest version doesn't work on Samsung s8 . It doesn't recognise favourites. So I have to add my contacts again into Google contacts then star them for it to work. It used to work perfectly beforehand I have emailed the developer
Old version was 5 stars. Update disables LG G6 alarm control including Alarm puzzle so now no way of dismissing or snoozing alarm at all. Here to uninstall to get alarm to work. Why did you break a perfectly working app ?
It's rubbish and doesn't work, too many options. Just silence my phone already. Don't waste your money.
This is a great application. I knew within the first hour of testing out the free version that I needed to. support the developer and buy the premium version. This works great on my Note 4 and gives me greater flexibility on my custom silent schedule then the "blocking" mode my phone came with. Granted I only played with This app for a few hours but it's pretty straight forward. Update *November 2017* still the best app for having a custom silent phone schedule. Easily beats the builtin android version of do not disturb. Great work team!
It's pretty good, but I need an app whitelist so certain app notifications still get through. This feature might be there already. If so I haven't found it.
Rubbish..... Silence should mean just that!!!!!! Not phone calls sms face book all any other crud I just want to listen to music with out being disturbed if the writer can't write decent software perhaps he write a program to chuck himself of cliff, going to argos to buy a cd player..........Even got disturbed by an sms to tel me I had just paid for this app
Excellent app! This app is the main reason I switched to android!
Was 5* but calendar now not working on s8
Does what I need, every time.
It always turnus o do not disturb
Essential app for any phone, works exceptionally well, and also so easy to use and set-up! For some reason, I ran another similar app for a while, but experienced a problem, went back to Cabooze app and everything went back to the way it should work, clearly they had updated the app since, great design and well laid out.
While the free Do Not Disturb app worked perfectly, once getting the paid version I had nothing but problems. It would only silence the phone, the do not disturb feature of the phone wouldn't activate which caused all the calls and texts to be silenced whether they had been selected to be allowed or not. As well I tried deleting all my settings and data from the app but it would still remain even after multiple 'clear data' and uninstall attempts. making it impossible to just start from scratch. There is also little support to be found on their website which seems to have not had any messages in months.
Had an issue, reported it to the developer and within 5 minutes I received a reply and fix! Absolutely stunningly efficient customer service. Highly recommended.
Excellent communication, I had an issue with vibration during silence period and it was quickly addressed and fixed by the developer. Thank you!
Essential app. Works great and developer is very responsive (returns emails the same day). Does everything I could ask for.
Best silent app ever!
There is only one other capable and easy to use silencer with the capacity to allow emergency calls, and that app disables video recording. Had some trouble with calls going thru in SCHEDULE mode (but not in NOW mode), but I emailed everything I have to the Cabooze tech guys, who responded THE NEXT MORNING, and we already have this solved, within 24 hours, with a few emails. (5 stars for the app; 5½ stars for Cabooze Tech Support.)
Great app for muting. I could never get the Do Not Disturb feature on my phone to work the way I wanted it to, so this app is a perfect fix. I use several of the widgets on my home screen for quick access - Manual Silence/30 Minute Silence etc, and I also really like the 'Follow a Calendar' feature. You can type in keywords as calendar 'rules' and link the app to your calendar so it automatically mutes your phone whenever these words appear in a calendar event. Eg. if you put in the keyword 'Dentist' and then you add a dentist appointment to your calendar, the phone will be muted automatically for the duration of the calendar appointment. (There appears to be a limit to the amount of keywords you can save though. It would be good if this could be increased in a future update - that would make it a 5 star rating from me).
This is a really good app and well worth paying for the premium version. Just a couple of suggestions to the developer: 1. In the screen shot the app is green when it's on and red when it's off but this is not the case with the paid version I downloaded. Could you possibly impliment different on/off colours so we can tell just by looking at the app icon whether the phone is muted or not. 2. Instead of the decreasing red bar can we have an actual countdown timer that shows at a glance the remaining time that the phone will remain silent. Thanks
This was a great app in 2015-2016. Then in the later part of 2016 there was an update... ruined the app. Calls and text that should come through don't. I missed a call from my son who lives in a different state because his call didn't get ring. Missing a 150am call from my son because of an app is unacceptable. I'm looking for a replacement.
It would be better if it didnt chirp everytime it comes out of silent mode. I have it end atv6am, and my alarm is set to go off at 630 most days.. i lose that half hour of sleep. Theres no reason to require it to chirp when it comes out of DND.
I've had it for more than three years on two phones and it is wonderful. Also great is Ben's support for this app. It's fast and delivered clearly. IT will make you feel like part of the family. As for the folks who rate it lower than 5, it's clear they either can't follow instructions or won't email the maker, for the support email address is at the end of the help text. I feel sorry for iPhone users who have nothing like it. Buy the premium version!
Does exactly what I needed. I have a OnePlus 3T, and because of the mute slider (which I love), it has no priority software settings. I kept forgetting to turn the phone to priority overnight, and it kept waking me up. Silence Premium solved that problem for me.

Great piece of code ???? I'm just missing an option of dropping the call instantly instead of just muting it. If it's about to send a SMS, it is expected the user cannot/doesn't want to answer it at all. Exceptions issue - could I add individual numbers/strings as an exception to bypass the silence mode? I'm receiving messages from 'text numbers' that cannot be added to caller's list and aftewards identified via group. Thank you
