Optimum Support

No reason to make this app and certainly none to download and even less to use. Exactly what you'd expect from Cablevision; pay to make useless apps that don't work and continue to let you're already crappy service deteriorate... I can't wait for FIOS!

I downloaded this app to write a review about the ACTUAL Optimum app. It has been multiple months, and they have still not updated the app to work on Android 7.0, which makes the app more useless than it usually is, as both my phone and tablet are on 7. Optimum needs to actually update the app, and make a version optimized for tablets. For now, it's a 1, when normally it will be a 3 or 4, depending on how laggy it decides to be.

I downloaded this app simply to write a review. This is an utterly useless app. It really serves zero purpose. There is no feature to stream live TV, similar to the iOS app. Please update this hot garbage app. Please Please Fios...come to Brookhaven Town on Long Island.

This app is nothing more than speed test. It just tells you to check connection on modem and router. Don't understand why some one need to download this crap.

Useless for my purpose. Have security webcams and when modem crashes want ability to restart it remotely. Instead, will program a mechanical timer to cycle modem power off/on - more reliable than CV.

My TV randomly said "your services are suspended " and whatever and it never happened..... Don't understand. Therefore, this app sucks and it doesn't work AT ALL......... I am very unimpressed. :(

Internet is down and I can't live chat from their web page via mobile device. Installed this app and no option for live chat. Frustrating.

App update is not current too old last year. I thought from July till now nah I would check back later.

This app is useless. Just like regular support. It doesnt even tell you that there is an outage in your area.

I'm so tired of being forced to call in my payment because both you're mobile app and your mobile website do not work at all. This time from the app i can't even make it past sign in

It's telling me an unexpected error occurred, won't let me log in at all. Tried paying my bill here last month and it charged my card twice after it froze! Someone needs to fix this asap! I want to change my wifi password and can't even do that! We even tried logging in through the website, just to find another dead end! This is RIDICULOUS!

......just used it to pay my bill via my phone. Great convenience. Clueless as to why some people are experiencing problems. (Android)

I keep getting an error try again later. I call in they have me delete it and re-download it still doesn't work. Smh

The app is useless. Every time my internet goes out and try to fix with the app it says the service is unavailable.

I have been unable to access my account online for months. I sent feedback no response. I am on the verge to closing this account.

Did a good job in refreshing my Internet speeds but my netgear app does the same, and when my cable TV started acting buggy on a few channels this app showed me what I needed to do to reset my ip address to get a better signal and low and behold it Worked. I can only give it 4 stars cause even though I like the app my 2.4ghz speed is spotty at best but it does wonders for my 5ghz. It's a wonderful app to trouble shoot cable TV and Internet issues but didn't solve all my issues so I gave it 4 stars!

Don't bother if you have a business account. Residential only.
