Optimum WiFi Hotspot Finder

I really like this app a lot!!! It literally shows exactly any and all Optimum Wi-Fi hotspots where you go

It's ok but Optimum,Altice; hasn't updated other app for Android 7. With Galaxy S8 out, prepare for a lot of bad reviews. Sorry this is on here but I can't even post my no star review on there. Why am I paying for nothing.?

Crazy, but it only works in A hot spot zone. When not connected to WiFi, gives you nothing. Isnt that why we search for new Hot spot?

Sometimes it works and sometimes it don't. It seems to only work when I'm close to home. When I'm in a hotspot, the connection is very weak even though it says it's strong.

Useless, the app keeps telling me I need an internet connection. I'm connected to my home optimum service. I can bring up websites so I'm definitely connected. I can also see and connect to an optimum hotspot here as well. Please fix this!

Doesn't work, waste of time. I'm glad I pay Cabkevision over 200 dollars a month for the triple play plus movie channels!!!!! Ugh!

Slow and in concise but still a good tool. I use it to let my kids know when and where they should be using WiFi in their daily adventures

I love optimum 5*+ ...only what is missing is really optimum app where you can go through bills ,emails service and if you guys do it that I think the best services from all company across United States of America ..,!!!

Absolutely Love it! I love the amazement when I use it and they say we don't have Apple pay and I say ok neither do I and I scan it, pay smile and leave,

Open up the program and it shows me all the hot spots. Does what it is supposed to do...

Really good app it gives you a choice if you want tto pick and choose which hot spot to be connected to over another one.

It works pretty good, but it might be nice to locate affiliated Wifi hotspot networks as well

What a scam this is, it show you many of so call Hotspot right next to you, but you can't connect to absolutely nothing.

This app does NOT work. Don't waste your time. All it does is search endlessly with no results.

Works great for finding wifi hotspots when you have no data on your phone... in citys

Good for finding WiFi in your area. Being a Republic Wireless customer, this helps a lot.

I used to worry about Rogue hotspots with the optimumwifi SSID but not anymore with this app.

Practically worthless if it doesnt connect you, which it doesnt.

The app by itself is fine but the signal is always weak no matter where I bong my phone. Your augmented app doesn't show specific hotspots, only clusters. I'd rather use my existing 4G service provider.

Near hotspots I do get a "Connected" notification, but always followed be "No Internet" notice. Device is Moto X Pure Edition ST1575 running Marshmallow Android 6.0. I give up.

Im very disappointed in optimum's service. This app is useless. And i havent found a hotspot in a helpful location yet. Searched for a hotspot near the address I am going to and it the loading spinning circle never stopped. I let it go on and on to see if it would locate anything. 20 minutes later still spinning.

This so called optimum wifi just suck it's imposible to finish a wifi call or even watch a picture, I can't even get to the profile page of optimum without disconnecting me, and that is what you call caring for costumers, there is only one thing that is not slow the bill.

The app doesn't even pick up my router when I'm in the same room as it, if it had more features I might consider keeping it, but as it stands I'm uninstalling it to free up some space

The app is OK. The augmented reality doesn't actually show the access point location and instead presents a bunch of purple points of who knows what. Service is hit or miss and in 2015, there are great solutions to find and reset public hotspots. Why doesn't Cablevision manage their infrastructure more aggressively? I would not consider Freewheel as service is inconsistent and unreliable.

I would always take it for granted when I was connected to Optimum WiFi, until I needed one of their Hotspots and couldn't find one. Not anymore.

Like the entire Optimum line it sucks! The tech told me that there was automatic access to other service towers that I haven't seen yet!

It worked once... From then on it always tells me no internet access available... Even the one place it worked at it won't connect to anymore. If you design something to fail you probably shouldn't promote it and if you design something great but make it hard to figure out without another app to explain you then you should consider hiring a new design team.... Either way you should probably hire a new design team....

It works on and off. The signal bars are always low.

Locations on map, labeled as businesses not actually where they are located. If you are looking to improve your signal being a few hundred yards off is not helpful since the distance exceeds the range of a WiFi radio.

My optimum id not working for wifi sign in but works else where

Downloaded this and all of my data was drained it not picking up the WiFi or the hotspots.Really sucks

It gives good wifi when you are out but when you are home it's hard to turn off...I have wifi home

My Optimum router is an Optimum hot spot and the app can't find it, let alone my neighbor's which is within100'.

Lots of hotspots, map works well.
