Checkout 51 - Grocery Coupons

This is a good app to save some money. It's just tedious at times. If they would add a search bar to search for specific items, that would make me use it more.

Love this app, but the PICTURE UPLOADER IS GLITCHING OUT

I buy mostly PC products and fresh meat and produce. Unless I shop at Walmart for produce, which I never do, I earn no cash back because I don't buy main-stream name-brand products filled with junk. Not for anyone who buys natural/fresh groceries. *update* In response to the developer replying to my feedback, I was very pleasently surprised! I love that my feedback was considered and acted upon. Exceptional! Willing to give the app another shot. Thanks very much.

Glitch with taking multiple pictures of reciepts, so I cannot use the app at all. When needing to add a section it just duplicates the first picture and nothing happens no matter what I click on. Please fix so I can use the app! It's an okay app, but I save more money in the first place by not buying brand name things, which you usually have to buy in order to get any cash back on here. A search option would make it better, ibotta has a search option so you can quickly find out if something g you bought or need has an offer. I'd have given this 4 Stars right now if there was a search option.

Wow, stumbled across this from a neighbor who picked up a sticker from the grocery store. She doesn't have a smart phone, so she passed it to me to check out. I have saved lots of money using this app in combination with store sales and coupons! The app is easy to use. The deals are clear and the camera is easy to use. I am cashing out for the first time, it took about a month to earn just over $20. I totally recommend this app. I may not use all the items, but there are always some we can use. Thank you Checkout 51!

Great news! They saw this post and fixed everything quickly! They are back on my good side again where this app belongs. I've been using this for several years and enjoy it. The reason for the 1 star is that I purchased a product because it was on here. It requires barcode validation and I've tried scanning the barcode around 10 times and it continuously says it isn't the right code. Kinda ticked

Every time there is a "choose your own offer" it will not work. I've tried everything. App is up to date. I purposely bought cucumbers last week because it was a special. I go through the process of uploading my receipt but then the offer disappears. It shows back up and when I click it, same thing. Happened again this week with bell peppers. No matter how many times I click on it and upload receipts it will not let me redeem

Trying out my first shopping app, and have to say that I do like the simplicity of it. It's quick and easy to upload and take advantage of the offers. My two main complaints would be that 1- need more options for cashing out your savings. PayPal, etc rather than waiting for a mailed check. 2- would Love a way to Taylor the offers more to what I use.. I get no pet offers, and always have nubian products that my house has NO use for. More fresh foods would be great as well. Current offers take quite a while to build up to cash out due to items I don't use or brands not offered in my area.

Every store has the exact same coupons. Which the stores here do not sell the same as each other. So the prices are higher because that's the only place you can get it. I was hoping to find Foodlion inventory at just Foodlion and so forth. This may be good for bigger Cities but not small towns where there's one of each store

The app was awesome until about a week ago. I have not been able to successfully select my items afyer uploading a receipt. I continously receive, "Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later." Well, this has been going on for a week now. Please check for bugs because I loved the app prior to this issue.

I'm a very skeptical person when it comes to "cash back deals" (I assume they're all somehow a scam. Luckily, Checkout 51 offers money back on products I was already planning on buying. They also offer cash back even if you used coupons with the offer. I've only used it for about a year, and I've already made over $40. It is definitely worth downloading. I recommend this app to everyone I know.

I love this app.... I get to save when I buy things from the store. It reminds me of coupons but better. Well i am at 18.75 now. It will get better for me when i go to the store more. But right now i am working a little more than lately. If anyone has doubts... once you tried this one you would love it too. Good luck on the saving.

It's very frustrating trying to redeem offers on Checkout 51. I usually have to submit receipts 3-4 times before approved. I have been couponing (digital and paper) for 5 years and this app is by far the most difficult to use. The Ibotta app is the same concept but is much more user friendly.

Awesome! I love saving money with Checkout 51 because I can redeem multiple rebates at once. Some items have allowed me to purchase up to 5 same items and receive 5 rebates. The rebate amounts are good and I can often combine them with store sales. Why not earn money for being a smart shopper?

The app is easy to use and the company is good about sending out rebate cheques. Not all offers can be used at all stores, though, and they don't seem to tell you that until after you upload a receipt. The app used to say if certain stores were excluded. Please add that back in. It's annoying to upload a receipt and find out you apparently shopped at the wrong place.

Just downloaded the app - first attempt and the camera doesn't focus whatsoever. My phone has a wicked camera, so I hope this app bug is fixed asap! Saw another review requesting healthier items as well, and more rotation - I second those!

The app is very easy to use and has a lot of everyday items to get rebates on. I use it often and love it. You can also use it in addition to your paper coupons to save even more. Sometimes this app and ibotta will have rebates for the same things so you can claim both and possibly get the items for free or make money on the product. It's awesome!

Some items have been available for weeks i.e. Nubian which we don't use. Don't understand why offers don't rotate more often. Bottom line for our household, the offers are overall not useful. I can go a couple of weeks before I can use an offer on Checkout 51. I received credit for our purchases very quickly when we did use an offer. Have not accumulated enough yet to request a check.

This app remains incredibly slow to load, and sluggish when using. This began with an update a few months ago after an app update, and I have seen no improvement with subsequent updates. It was never like this prior to that update. Tech support is useless. I'll be reevaluating Checkout 51's usefullness after my next cashout.

You can't tap the screen to focus the photo of the receipt so this won't work for me. Perhaps it's not compatible with my android? I think it lost my previous savings when I switched phones as well. But it is a nice app. Organized and. Aldi is on there now too. Bummer.

Loved the app at first, but recent update caused it to take FOREVER, as in NEVER, to load. Need more variety in the offerings. A way to filter out alcohol would be nice, since I don't buy beer and only purchase wine a couple of times a year. To the developers- I would have sent this to you directly, but the app won't load. Ibotta, on the other hand, is working perfectly, as is everything else on my phone!

The app absolutely needs to have a search function. It is kind of crazy that it doesn't. Ibotta has one, checkout 51 has to have one. Trying to sort through 300 items to find the one you want is painful. Also, a produce section would be nice as well. Haven't tried cashing in yet so will update how that goes.

Loved using this app, but recent update will NOT load all offers. Tried uninstalling and reinstalled. Even tried using another phone with the same results. Please fix this so many of us can continue enjoying this app.

I don't have a lot of brand loyalty so I'm happy to purchase other brands of items I normally buy. I don't like how rarely fresh produce shows up as an offer. It's easy to upload receipts and processing is quick. Using this app and a price matching app together has saved me a lot of money

I really like this app. I wish there were healthier products on it though. My main complaint is that I can't ever get through 1 receipt to upload, it will focus properly for the first pic or 2 then it will not focus no matter what I do! I don't have this problem with my camera normally only in this app. Ibotta I can focus no problem so I know it's a function of this app. Frustrating!

I got an updated phone and now when I try to take a picture of my receipt it tells me it has stopped working. I have reported it but no change. Will reinstall again and see what happens

If it does what it says it's great. Your offers are misleading because you want us to purchase something. Those of us who could really benefit are on low income ( seniors)

This is an amazing app but it doesn't work with Associated Supermarkets but it does work with Key Food Supermarkets but it's too far from my house and doesn't have better in store savings than Associated Supermarkets which I hope you can add to your participating supermarkets list and I can save there please?

Awesome app! It's so easy to use,very quick to upload your receipt and claim the offers. I've only had a couple of problems,but they were quick to respond and solved the issues. Would definitely recommend.

I like this app alot. It's easy money back on products I already buy. I love that you can use it anywhere. The only thing is alot of times you know the item was correct and they deny it. Customer Service is not as good as it could be.

1-20 Update just JUNK- GET IBOTTA! I'm deleting this junk. They can keep the $3.50-it's really a hassle to use this. Customer Service? One word-lol. Stick to Ibotta or waste your time with this-your choice you have been warned. Previous review =5 months of using remains 1 star. I was skeptic & remain so. I have $3.50 min cash out is $20. The few receipts and shipper always are a problem-they cant see things. Well my camera takes good pics except for this app? It sort of seems this is a hassle to not reach the threshold? I'm borderline thinking this is a SCAM. I can't say for certain but definitely leaning that way. Shame tho seems promising but not if it's a SCAM.

I love this app, use it all the time and have cashed out a couple times but what in the world did yall do in the latest update?!?! The app will not load, I get nothing except a constant spinning of the loading circle. Lots of people have complained about this in the comments, obviously no one is paying attention!

The offers arent as good as they used to be. Pretty much the same offers every week including 31 different cheese offers. It takes a lot longer to get to 20 since P&G took over. They do approve receipts quickly though.

They just updated the app (May 17, 2015)--AND IT STILL FAILS TO FOCUS!!!! Incompetent &^$%^$&*s! Previous: March 18, 2015: STILL fails to focus. It's been ONE MONTH. I'm taking back ONE STAR for EVERY MONTH you guys fail to fix this problem. 1/23/16: Is it a year yet? I think it's a year, and STILL it won't focus. All the developer's claims that they're "fixing it," I have to assume are total BS. That, or they're just plain incompetent. Now February 2, 2017, and it STILL fails to focus. Sad. So sad. Any claim by the developer that they're trying to fix this is a lie. They've been claiming that for almost TWO YEARS, and still nothing. Every other app I have that tries to use the camera works just fine.

This app really gets on my nerves. It works fine and I never have issues with glitches, but the offers are NEVER updated. I barely can use this app. In 3 months, I have only earned $10.00 on checkout 51, but over $50 on Ibota because it actually updates its offers at least once a week, and they're not all for toilet paper and air fresheners.

I tried this app on 2 different phones (HTC One M8, Google Pixel) months apart, on 2 different carriers (Verizon, T-Mobile), with 2 different versions of Android (marshmallow and nougat). Would not focus when trying to capture receipt, no matter what I did. App is useless if I can't upload a receipt. Internet search reveals this is a common problem.

I've had a few probs submitting receipts and when it wasn't completely my fault customer service has been great to work with me. I've used this app along time. Saves me money and its fairly simple to use. Sometimes the camera on my phone doesn't capture the receipt clearly. That can be really annoying. Don't know if that's an app issue or phone settings.

SO SLOW!!! When it works it's great but it takes so long to just open. Then the coupons take another hour to load! I have tried clearing the cache, reinstalling the app, nothing fixes it! Hopefully they fix this soon!

iBotta has far better offers and far less glitches. Plus there's no way to actually contact the admins to get help with something if they topic isn't covered in the FAQ on their website. Too much frustration trying to use this app.

I find this app slow and annoying. When you click on a specific store, it doesn't load deals that are exclusive to that site. It's also hard to ensure you're purchasing the correct product. I find other similar apps much more user friendly.
