Hue Simple is fast and agile because it goes beyond the concept of on/off of the light, if you think about, what you normally do not turn on/off, but adapt the lighting of the house to situations, passing from one configuration to another. With a traditional system it does it effectively through a sequence of power on/off switches reaching one at a time, with Philips Hue and Hue Simple become much easier and faster using the AutoOff function that automatically turns off all the rooms/scenes other than the selected.
A couple of examples:
A. In the evening you want to watch TV and then switch to an appropriate configuration of enlightenment. What do you do with a traditional lighting system?
1. Enter one by one to all the room other than those where there is the TV and turn off the lights
2. Turn on the light into the TV room
3. If there is a chance, fits the light because you will probably want a light more subdued and less tiring than the standard
What do you do with Hue Simple?
If in Hue Simple AutoOff and AutoExit are both enabled, three quick taps will be enough:
1. A tap to open the app
2. A tap to select the scene prepared for the soft light into the TV room (eg. Lounge - Soft or Lounge - TV or ...)
3. The third tap activates the selected scene into the TV room and turn off the lights in all the other rooms of the house. If you enable the AutoExit, the fourth tap to exit the app will not be necessary
B. Identical considerations apply when you want to go to bed and have only a dim light in the bedroom. Having made up a scene, for example, Bedroom - Soft:
1. A tap to open the app
2. A tap to select the scene Bedroom - Soft
3. The third tap activates the selected scene Bedroom - Soft and off the lighting in all the other rooms of the house
Easy, right?
In both examples, one scene is selected, but the above is also true when you select multiple scenes. For example I want to watch TV, but I look forward to guests and so I will also have the illuminated courtyard, just a tap more:
1. A tap to open the app
2. A tap to select the scene Lounge - TV
3. One tap to select the scene Yard - Bright
4. The final tap activates the scenes Lounge - TV and Yard - Bright, turns off the lights in all the other rooms of the house and closes the app
The traditional concept of "off" is used in Hue Simple in only one case, when you want to turn off all lights in the house, and that's why we've provided appropriate button, but the same effect can also be achieved by activating the dummy scene "Dark!" that appears when no scene has been selected.
Warning: this app works only with a Philips Hue lighting system, do not install if you do not have it!
Warning: this app does not allow the creation of new scenes or editing existing scenes, Hue Simple uses existing scenes in the Philips Hue system created via the official Philips Hue app or other apps.
