This app has been a blessing for me, and has lead to many late hours drawing one more line, and bringing my ideas to life. There are however a few things that I'd like to see still. Mainly I'd love a cut/lasso feature to select specific parts of a layer to move, and perhaps some support for multi window mode on my Samsung galaxy. Love the app! Thanks for making this. Edit: I would also be insanely happy if Windows 10 compatibility for pc would be implemented like some other drawing apps. :-)

Could do with the option of being able to create your own customisable brushes and a gradient tool too. No updates for a long time. Apart these quibbles it's still my preferred drawing app. The layout is great, easy to use and doesn't get in your way. Easy to share your work for transferring artwork to the desktop for adding elements to a bigger picture so you can work on projects away from your desktop or laptop with ease.

Can not stop using this software, the options and usability is top notch and im excited to use it for professional work all the time. ( SUGGESTIONS ) the biggest gripe i have in my workflow is the lack of a selection tool. A loop selection tool would be ideal, but just a basic square selection would help tremendously. Thanks again for making the app so great!

this is indeed better than procreate on IOS, but pls dont rest on yr laurel. i really wish you could add more brushes. perspective guide, and texture fill, that's all. This has been my go-to app when drawing. its also the app that makes me glued to android even i hv an ipadpro12.9, pencil, and procreate. or u can port this to IOS,pls, coz that will be so awesome! definitely buying it. i know i should give it 5 star, but u needed some motivation! so 3 star untill more features are added.

Wonderful app but I would like some things. As an artist I would like to have multiple brushes to paint with. I don't really like that I can blend only with the smudge tool and use only one brush. I would like (compared to my favourite painting program that I use on my PC) to have multiple Paint Tool SAI like brushes. They are simple to use and easy to make your own and they are really good for any art style! I would like to see something like this in the future! Over-all an amazing app to paint/doodle on the go!

It would be a terrific idea if the user had the options related to Photoshop, such as being able to select a layer and using a stroke option. I believe it'll be great if you can change canvas size, in either exact pixels or by inches. (Edit: my dumb self didn't notice the new canvas size on the saved screen > top right + >)

I love this one! I'm a digital artist and recently moved to a different country, so now I can't draw on a PC like I used to, instead, I use my tablet nowadays, I installed lots and lots of apps that I thought would be good enough but none of them were really my type. That was until, I found Artflow! I draw with my fingers on it (literally) but still, it's perfect! Though I would suggest for the ones who made it to squeeze in just a few more brushes, so we can practice them as well!~but it's still really great, keep up the good work Artflow~

I've tried Sketchbook for Galaxy, Corel Painter Mobile and Infinite Painter on my Galaxy Note 10, and I keep coming back to Artflow. I find it easy to learn and intuitive, but with a good amount of buttons and sliders to tweak features the way I like them. I use Artflow primarily for drawing and sketching, and I think the 'flow' parameter of the pen tool helps it to mimic pencil marks in a way that features and even specific pencil tools of other apps don't. (I don't mean the grainy texture put into pencil tools!) Pressure sensitivity is also more responsive and realistic than other apps, giving great variation of line; and the ability and degree to which I can manipulate it is incredibly useful, particularly for comic-style inking.

I absolutely fell in love with this app when I purchased it. Its' easy-to-use interface and wide variety of customizable mediums are its best features. Creating photo realistic art has never been more simple! However, it remains difficult to create abstract pieces because you cannot set parameters for free form shapes. A little work in this department would make it perfect in my opinion. A necessity of the artists who don't like to get dirty, and an augmentation of more traditionally minded artists.

Since latest update I think, I've randomly been getting crashes whenever I use the app, to the point it's unusable. I've even purchased the full version previously and would love to use this app again. I've cleaned the cache and the system cache, restarted my device. No improvements and this is the only app effected. Still not working.

by S####:

This WAS the best drawing app I've tried; and I've tried many. However, I just discovered that only two writing instruments are now available and there are practically no options now for either one. This is the first app I've ever used that actually got worse over time. Very unfair to users and very, very cheap trick to get us to get the paid version.

S70%
by S####:

Overall it's the best drawing tool as a mobile app than any other drawing app. The brushes, layers and other extra features are great but it lack something important to. Text Box. I will give it a 5 star if you include TEXT BOX. But overall it's perfect it just lack one key features in a perfect drawing software. Keep it up mates. BEST DRAWING APP EVER !!!!

P70%
by P####:

Used to be the best drawing app, although needs updated. It has a super selection of brushes, but the interface slows down the creative process. Too many extra clicks. I hate having to hit two keys to undo. No two finger canvas rotate, again you need to click a button to click a button to rotate. Grrr. No selections with scale and rotate, mirror. Only full layer transitions. It does have some very nice layer effects, but the menu system seems clunky. I like Infinite Painter much better.

S70%
by S####:

Very good app. Has everything I need EXCEPT a lasso tool. Surprising since it's such an important and common tool. Maybe I just don't know where it is, but I am very disappointed it is not available even with a pro licence. If this tool is in or is being added, please let me know.

Y70%
by Y####:

Sure, I can draw with it, but the program is missing or does not have straight forward access to things I need. The biggest problem I have is that I cannot arrange layers. I find myself having to delete and redraw layers just because I couldn't arrange their order. Actually, that might be the only feature it is missing, it's just because of that I am beginning to hate the program. Other than that, I think it's fine.

S70%
by S####:

As a sketchin app. There honestly is not one better than this. I use it with my Note 8.0 and it is absolutely fabulous. It sketches so well. I dont even have to change pencils most of the time becajse I can get light lines and dark lines with just pressure. Fun tomsketch with. Pressure ks much more intuituve than even sketchbook pro. Love it

S70%
by S####:

Why are all my Photoshop exports being squished to 1280x800? Also, can you guys enable import .psd from device? And, my Active Edge function stops working randomly. Lastly, being able to flip the whole canvas (not just a single layer) would be nice... and if the area you're viewing is flipped that would be ideal. As it is now, if I'm zoomed in and flip the image I have to zoom out and re-find my place.

S70%
by S####:

I've went through a bunch of drawing apps and this one is probably the best. Only complaint is it took me a second to find out that holding the circle keeps the menu from disappearing which is what I was dying to find. Putting this in tutorial would be useful. Also a settings option to go through the tutorial again would be useful

I70%
by I####:

One of the best! Smudge tools aren't as good as the sketchbook ones, but the 4k resolution and many layers make up for that! Some layered import functionality would be nice though. Otherwise my go to paint app nowadays

S70%
by S####:

I love the app and all the options it has but it keeps crashing, restarting, and freezing. And when I go back to open it, I have no option to undo something, and it just messes my whole drawing up and I have to start over. I will be using sketchbook pro until I see an update. I'd also like it if it would have a select option, where you're able to select a certain part of the image to erase, color in, etc

S70%
by S####:

I have previously even bought the upgrades as i enjoyed this app, however now every time i create a new layer or try to save it or if I do anything sometimes it just randomly crashes. Please help and fix this problem asap.

S70%
by S####:

If I can only go back five or six times before I get a "pay for this", then this program isn't worth it. I can understand brushes and the like. But, the BASIC act of undoing mistakes? No. What? Does the eraser do the same thing if I have the audacity to use it more than four or five times?

E70%
by E####:

This app is great and all, but what I hate is the limitation. Many people do not like purchasing the full version with good reasons, so I think you should ease on the limitations. For example, the number of layers you can use. I think the best max number of layers for the free version should be at least 3/4. Next, the redo button. Why does it have limitations?? Other than that, its amazing.

M70%
by M####:

I love this drawing app, it really gives me the high resolution effects for drawing. I love how the tools are working great! Smooth colours, and smudge... Also, pleass can you add a Clipping Group option for layers? That will be awesome!

S70%
by S####:

I tried it out and thought this would be great for making 2d animations on my new note7. Went ahead and purchased the upgrade to access more layers, immediately realized that i cannot save a .png with a transparent background. Frustrating because this adds another step. Not the end of the world, but i would hope for $5 a pop they would add this feature. Just add a background alpha setting...

L70%

I have been using this for almost a year now, and this has been the greatest year with this app. I was wondering if you guys can add a lasso tool to grab sections of your artwork? It would be a great if you are able to do that.

S70%
by S####:

It's great for drawing. But with android 6.0.1, clicking the button on the pen for my Note 4 causes air command to open when I want to just change my cursor function between pen and eraser. It's really pissing me off.

Sketching a three-dimensional box with shading has been my simple initial test for drawing or painting apps. All (almost all) pretty much fail. This one, however, doesn't. Works really well and was very close to sketching on paper. The free version is feature rich. Rarely do I buy apps, but I liked the free version so much, I bought a license to unlock extra features. Keeps getting better as they add more features.

U70%
by U####:

You need to add a blending tool along with the smudg tool because I could really do with it having a blending tool (this is Gemma's son by the way I don't have an account of my own (my names adam))

L70%
by L####:

I am a fan of Sketchbook Pro on the pc, but this is my go-to art app on the Galaxy Note 3. Performance is great, the UI is unobtrusive and easy to grasp, and the tool set is impressive at this price. I highly recommend this app. The only thing I could ask for is a line smoothing option for inking and it would be a 5 star product.

S70%
by S####:

Works well most of the time. Has a decent amount of brushes and tools to use, and allows you to to save images in psd, jpeg or png. There's no support for SD card storage of drawings or paintings you are still working on, and no cloud support either so if you change your device you need to go into the ArtFlow folder and move the files by hand. It's inconvenient, and should probably be addressed

*UPDATE* I've taken my rating down to 1 due to the dev, Bart Janusz, not trying to help me and ignoring me for months. This is one of the main reasons I hate paying for apps. ORIGINAL: I want to give this app 5 stars because I actually REALLY like it, (so much so that I bought the pro version) but lately have been experiencing stuttering issues with the smudge tool. I dock a star for the issue and a second star for an almost total lack of online public documentation.

A70%

After closing, bringing back up, picking a picture to edit, my pencils, brushes, smudges etc won't work on a certain picture. For ex: my pencil won't wrk in black... instead I can barely see a shade of blue where its supposed to be black.... no matter the tool being used, I can never get what's in the color block. But it'll work on a different picture. Wat the hell? Actually other colors work. My black doesn't though...

I've only been using this app for one day, and I'm already hooked. I've previously used bare bones drawing apps, and I had ABSOLUTELY no idea what I was missing, clearly. This app is absolutely everything I could want and then some, hence why I already made the Pro purchase. :) I'll be looking forward to all the endless possibilities with what I can create now!!

S70%

Its great! But it would be so much nicer if you could draw vertical. It gets frustrating drawing horizontal the entire time! Please fix this. And I did buy the full version because it is a great app.

It keeps changing from triangle to square and back again! I want to keep it square but I have no idea how to change it. I love the app but this is one of the most frustrating things about it.

I had a problem with the magnification filter, and couldn't figure myself how to make it work. But tech support answered me very fast and resolved my problem. Thanks a lot for your assistance, this is my favorite app to draw, paint and just to make art.

For long time ArtFlow used to be the best, most balanced app for drawing/sketching/coloring on Android. But after months and months of no updates and general lack of responding from developers, I finally started to look around for alternatives. While Sketchbook and many others are still no match for AF; the Infinite Painter leaves it far behind in terms of tool selection and settings. Gradients, canvas rotation, perspective tools, lasso- (selection tools) - name a feature users been requesting for ArtFlow for ages - and IP is having it. Also they are updating regularly and somewhat interacting with users in the comment section, too. The only obvious advantage of ArtFlow now would be the max. canvas size of 4096x4096 vs. Infinite Painter's 3200x3200 - wich isn't really that much of a drawback. So, I just want to say, that while Art Flow is still a very competent, stable and great UI-wise app, that is worth to be bought; it's not the best anymore and there's a much more advanced and developed apps for roughly the same money. Thanks, it's been a good ride, but now's the time to change the vehicle.

I can't say how much I love this app. Add a selection tool and it's perfect. This is so much like my favourite version of Photoshop -- layers, brushes, settings and the user interface is absolutely brilliant for ease of use. Thank you so much!!!
