CopyCat Keyboard

Record sounds and change their pitch using the on-screen keyboard. The recorded samples can then be either pitch shifted within the current octave, shifted down an octave or shifted up an octave.

CopyCat Keyboard comes preloaded with a "meow" sample. Experiment with playing different songs on the keyboard. Shift the playback octave up or down using the buttons on the top right of the screen.

Record your own samples by tapping the record button in the upper left corner of the screen. Tap the record button again to stop recording. The record button can capture sounds spoken into the microphone or by playing the existing sample on the keyboard.

For an extra challenge, try recording the words to "Row Row Row Your Boat". Then start playback. Start a round by starting playback again once the first sample reaches the word "boat".

Record your cat or dog. Play back to them, but shift their pitch up or down and watch their surprise!

By repeatedly recording the sample that is currently playing, your can create very complex layering of the sounds.
