Soundfont Player:

Any soundfont of file format "sf2" can be used, also compressed soundfonts (wavpack or flac).
The soundfont that ships with this app offers acceptable sounds in relation to its size: just 3 MB. Its just something to start with. Anyway you should use your own soundfont. One of the most popular free soundfonts is "Chorium (Revision A)" (27 MB) by openwrld.

By coloring the notes depending on their pitch the harmonic development, different tonal areas / modulations / key changes become visible at a glance!
Even large MIDI files (eg. a symphony) will be visualized in 2-3 seconds !
Also so called "black midi" files (up to million notes or more) can be played back completely. Only the number of notes to display needs to be limited. You can set this number -> Try how many notes your device can take (e.g. with Nexus 7 up to 400.000 notes)
MIDI file user settings

All loops, markers, instrument/track assignments are stored in a separate settings file. Each time a MIDI file gets loaded it will search for an existing settings file.

Very easy to use plus a unique ability to have in the simple terms no limit for midi. I do remember opening up 19.4 million piano notes on this app in about 10 secs, but then loading all the notes took several hours, which I forgive the app for. What I would like to see for the future is a more stable frame rate since some Black midi (which you seem to be improving your app for mainly) it is very jittery at note-clogging sections, but it's easily forgivable for a midi player on Android.

This app is fantastic! I will re-write my original glowing review later, but suffice it to say, this app is a home run for a Choral Group to use to disseminate vocal arrangement parts to the members, each can pull down the volume of everyone else's parts except their own, and change the patches of the other parts non-destructively to the source midi file to be different from the part you are learning. this way you can make out the lines the others will have under you (each with a different instrument, which differentiates them during unison lines) Just great. Also, the development group is AWESOME. There was a small bug that made a big difference in how I was able to use the program, and they made a change and sent me a beta within a week when I contacted them with the test cases in which it happens. Just fantastic.

This is a thoughtful and well-designed program for playing MIDI files via soundfonts. I was not able to connect it to my Yamaha PSR E423 because the keyboard lacks a standardized USB MIDI interface.

Having a real problem editing the instruments in soundfonts. The scroller keeps getting in the way because the button to select it is right underneath it. If the ui was moved a bit to accommodate both I would fully recommend it but I was hoping to be able to fix a jumbled soundfont in here.

Works fine on my Galaxy S4 but does not retain settings on my Nexus 10 . After going through the Settings/Developer Options/Apps/Don't keep activities and turned it OFF everything is fine. Needs a bit more finger space if you're using the pitch/tempo adjust bar. But over all a great App.

Don't regret to buy, it so worthly useful.. I really like this app.. The advantages & useful for this app are, I can view chords, change tracks instrument & volume & change sound patch.. We're not sure if one day, it can support vsti plugins & interactive or animated scenetic backgrounds.. Just kidding.. Well, I'm excited & look forward for the next updates for this apps.. Still Great and getting more awesome!

Great midi player! Mix and match SoundFonts for limitless remixing! Crash free WAV exporting. Loaded with other features like live performance and MIDI input. One of only a few apps ive ever paid to use. Would like to see per channel effects instead of just per song.
