GuitarTapp PRO - Tabs & Chords

Chords are pretty iffy, so you have to go over every song and make corrections. The good news is that you have chords and lyrics at your finger tips and it's very easy to edit. Once you get the chords right it's easy to change the key, and put the songs in set lists. There is also a function for saving everything to the cloud, which has saved my butt numerous times. All in all a great App.

I cannot believe how useful this app is for anyone that plays the guitar or keyboards. Being in Christian bands and playing Christian music can make it challenging to find a good assortment of sheet music. Not with this app. I have successfully found all but a couple of songs. And if you can't find it the sister app, ChordPro, it's real easy to put the stuff you can't find in on your own. Two thumbs up, high fives, chest bump, etc, etc. Worth every penny. Transposing is a snap. Create set lists. Share between gadgets. Save to the cloud. Download. Print. It does it all. Auto-scroll. Dark theme. All the chords are easily displayed. Really impressed. And that's just the Christian stuff. Just think how useful if you played other types as well.

I've used this app for a few years now and have completely loved it until this last update. After the update I go to get on it and everything I've saved over the years is gone. So I think, ok I always sync it so I'll do that. It ask for my email and I give it and it tells me that that email doesn't exist. I also have the app on my tablet which is synced to the same email as my phone and it recognizes my email. So tell me why doesn't it work on my phone anymore?

I've used this app for a while and can assure you that it's worth getting. Truly, I like it's format. Easy to navigate and auto scroll is a plus! Would rate 5, but it's not that easy to create/add a new filter and add files to set lists from the search screen. Other than that, it's a really good and useful app.

I've been using guitartapp for 4 years, so I'm committed. There are great and not so great features. The range of tunes is impressive and the index, scroll, youtube, and key change is great. The support is not. After many attempts I still cannot correct words or chords, add missing verses, add non included tunes. The recommended word as don't work, nor does any other I've tried. I've tried a lot. Sure hope this can be fixed.

this is a great app with potential to be the best of its kind. however, i'm looking for alternatives because no one seems to be home at 845tools. the app hasn't been updated in 2 years and support seems non-existent. I'm a performing musician and need to know the platform i choose is supported and will be around, or at least see that someone is still backing it and responding to it. too bad

I've successfully used Guitar tapping for about 3 years. I had to get a new tablet and reinstall the app a few weeks ago. My favorites carried to the new device, but the files are "empty" . I emailed their support, and was told to check FAQ page. That did nothing! I'm done! Goodbye!

I started the free trial, awesome, so I PAID for the upgrade. That was a couple years ago, now I'm stuck with everytime it upgrades it erases every song I save! WHAT'S THE PURPOSE OF HAVING A FAVORITES OPTION IF YOU'RE JUST GOING TO ERASE THEM!!! No point in uninstalling, I've already paid but my advice is, if you're planning to save any type of play list, memorize the songs fast otherwise you'll be going back through and finding them all again.

Gives an error message every time so I cannot move my song book to a new device. This means if you ever switch devices you loose all the information you have built up, all your songs, comments, the keys you play in are lost and you must start from scratch. I've written to the company 3 times and no answer, no support.

By far one of my favorite apps to use. Building worship sets, learning new songs, looking up songs in YouTube. It's all there. **edited 2/15/15: the sync feature has stopped working completely. I have this app on both my android phone and my iPad, and I rely heavily on being able to switch between the two. Big reason why I paid money for this app. Fix this problem and I'll give this app five stars again. **edit#2 12/6/16: sync feature works great now, back to five stars. Love it!

I used to have all my songs in pdf form . If I found an error, it was always too many steps to correct. Guitar app makes it easy. Also, I do not have to worry about scrolling my song back to the top when done singing it and wasting precious time. Was a great find and worth the money!

Terrible after sales service. Contacted several times and never recieved a response just refers you to Faqs. I know they might be busy but over 6 months is to long to resolve issues. Would not recommend.

DO NOT use live or professionally. Files suddenly change after saved with edits. Not worth the risk for pro use. MobileSheetsPro is FAR SUPERIOR to this crap. As many others have stated. Decent app......when and if it works reliably. I've emailed support many times with my issue. Zero response. I paid for both android and Windows pro versions. Not able to link Dropbox and the app together in Windows 10. Zero support. Zero answer. This makes them not deserve our money if they can't offer support.

I've been using this app for a long time. And as of the past couple of months, I am suddenly unable to save any of the chords I want. I'm very disappointed.

Purchased this product for my Android and again for my PC so I could share my libraries as promised in their advertisement. PC version will not sync and fails to complete account set up. Have emailed support numerous times over the past two months with no response. They ask not to give them a bad rating if something doesn't work and promise to respond to their email link... They lie.

Good but can't recognize augmented and diminished (B+, Bø) chords. Chordpro pages won't align when swiping. Makes it of limited use for performing. Support appears to be waning. I subtract a star for every month that goes by without a response from customer service. Started at 5.

This app has worked fine for years, whatever you've done with recent updates has ruined it, crashes immediately after opening. Please fix this issue, I'd really like to continue using this app and have been unable to. I've emailed your support several times and have yet to receive a response!!!!

Please fix it!! I recently replaced my phone to galaxy S6. I installed and synchronized the app, but or some reason it deletes everything, and now I have to start from the beginning. It happened 6-7 times. Now I have nothing on my phone. Annoying!

Brilliant app! BUT - PLEASE fix the preset scroll speeds in landscape mode. Rotate tablet or phone to portrait mode and it remembers the speed. Happens every time. It's very annoying at gigs. Fix for 5 stars!!!!

If you have a band and plan on syncing up to others in the band via Bluetooth this will not work out for you don't waste your money. the only way to sync through internet via the 1 email address you gave which you must share with the WHOLE band so start an email you can all share They only tell you this after you buy this unusable app for a BAND

Love this app and had for years , paid for pro it's so good but. . It doesn't let me save favourites, or it did and doed but keeps deleting them every couple of days...please fix and definitely a five star app then

The accuracy of the songs are a hit and miss sometimes, but that's not a failure of the app. I use it for many years now and love it. It's a good way to start playing a song you suddenly hear or just pops up in your head again.

Great program for finding, organizing, and playing music. So why only 1 star? Because support SUCKS! You contact support multiple times but get no reply. You indicate a 'bug' in the software and it goes unaddressed. SAD! It could be 5 stars if they'd only stop ignoring their customer's support needs, or at the very least respond at all.

I've used this app for about 5 year's but recently it's been wiping my favourites out every day which is more than annoying. Please fix......

I haven't found a song search yet that I haven't found the chords for. Now, not all chords may be correct. But they are put on by people like you and me, but for the most part they are correct or real close.

This app really works. Down loading songs is great. Creating your own songs on a pc and transfering to tablet is easy. Auto transposing is magic. Recently paired with irig BlueTurn foot switch for more control. Would be 5 or 6 stars but for periodic loss of scoll speed setting on my Samsung Tab E. Even so, KUDOS GUITARTAPP.

Works great, but twice now I've opened the app and everything is GONE. Have to setup sync again, enter the password, then it all comes back. Quite the inconvenience. Not sure if I can trust this to be gig worthy. Same day reply from developer​ (well done) advised that the cleaner app I use may cause my problem. I'll check that out. Thanks!

Love this app.. that this little app has changed everything for the better. No more clumsy notebooks with papers falling out, ring binder squashed it a guitar case and falling apart... thank you guitar tap! Yep

Not cool they took out the feature that feature that allows you to listen to the chords as they go across the screen u could choose what chords you wanted to see like bass guitar rythem guitar drums ect they no longer have that feature not cool..

I've been using Set List Helper for the last 12 months but have now 'stumbled' across Guitar Tapp and I'm finding it far superior, I especially love it's search facility. I've some issues with it but overall it's very good :)

Loved it until I was no longer to edit the songs and can no longer export songs to PDF files. What really frustrates me is that customer support is now non-existent...I've sent numerous emails with no results. 2-13-16 update---This is a very valuable resource for musicians wanting to find words and chords easily. I use it all the time, and am able to import the pdf files GuitarTapp exports into MobileSheets, another very useful app that I and my band use all the time for performing live. I did get support and learned more about how use GuitarTapp, and highly recommend it!

I really don't know what I would do without guitar tapp. The only thing i would change is that annoying box that comes up when I startup up the program asking me to upgrade to chordpro! That is the only thing keeping this from being a 5 star!!!

If you got your phone or tablet, those tricky words and chords are always at hand.

It lost my songlists, or rather, can't access them from the app - the folders are there on internal USB. (IruluTablet/KitKat.) Also the ANNOYING startup ad for CHORDPRO needs to be gone- especially on a paid version (Of PRO!) ALL I ever wanted was a lyrics storage, display (and editor) app for the tablet. I create my own lyrics txt's Anything else (tablature, downloading songs, etc) is useless junk, and a serious impediment to lyrics storage, -RELIABLE, STABLE ACCESSIBILITY, and display. I D/L'd the TRIAL VERSION to my Tablet, and liked it, so I purchased GuitarTapp PRO. Now I can't delete the TRIAL version. And after a few weeks, having successfully imported my favorites (WiFi transfer of lyrics test files from PC- I forget the name of the app) and successfully built a setlist in GTPRO (and installing Fx File Viewer and MHT viewer on the tablet,) AND after using the setlist a few times over the last months (WITHOUT the previous parenthetically quoted apps interfering ; ) suddenly GTPRO can't see the setlist to select it, or favorites to rebuild it, any more. The NATIVE File viewer (I was afraid to try Fx) shows GTPRO's favorites and setlist folders do exist.

Loved it but Windows version has been very unreliable since I updated from Windows 8 to 8.1. Unfortunate as I can't easily revert the OS back to Windows 8. Unfortunate as I have recommended others to use this app. No support and no response to my email. Unfortunate as I work in music and I have to create a workaround to the freezing and slow starting off of text scrolling. I don't mind paying for an update version but looks like the next version will be subscription based. No interest.

I think this to be the best cross-platform chord player available. I use this on several Androids and also on a Windows tablet and desktop. Having the ability to sync with MP3 files is awesome. Only negative is on the Windows 10 tablet. (Scrolling independently while using auto-scroll doesn't work well.) Having the ability to easily edit things for personal use is extremely useful.

I really wanted a lyric app, or at least a way to turn off chords, comments and other junk. If I go to the trouble to re-edit all that out of what it downloads, it works well. Still haven't found a way to import my existing lyric .txt and .rtf files.

I've bought both Win 10 and Android versions, and I am seriously impressed. It has some minor rough edges, but not enough to make any real detrimental impact. A wonderful piece of software.

This is the best music app that I use, and I have bought quite a few. It transposes, easy to make your own sheets, converts to pdf, make your own setlists…… I use this app a lot. Really glad I bought it.(2013) I still use this a lot, even bought windows version for my Surface Pro, it's easy to use files on both platforms. Last update made this app unusable on my one older android tablet… too bad as it was what I used when playing live.(2015)
