Love it!!!! The quiz is really confusing.

C70%

Haven't even tried it yet but free app with no ads plus no permissions...even if it sucks it deserves 4*s for that...I'll be back with #5 if its half way usable as well

X70%

On the Samsung Galaxy tablet, the images are squished together, so you can't see what you're doing.

C70%
by C####:

French and Ital should not be quizzed without a key center. Can't turn those off in options. Even the 3rd chord in the example pictures has no answer below (mM7...and that chord is nonfunctional in truth. Nobody needs to know it.)

I was miss guided by the previous reviews , but when I tried it I find it perfect for studying chords and a great reference

Levels would be nice

L70%

There is a chord named Major- minor 7th but on the staff it's notated as a minor triad with a Major 7th and there's no answer to select as a minor-Major 7th.

O70%

Graphics are mostly off-screen, and quiz just lists a bunch of chords--should there be sound to match the possible choices? No instructions or submenus are given to help--no clues. In short, either it's badly flawed or poorly designed.

Z70%
by Z####:

There isnt really much to this app, which IS what it claimed, so dont go looking for anything advanced. I found that it works well and will probably use it for reference but i wont use the quiz portion.

F70%
by F####:

Screen doesn't do well in landscape on a Xoom. Can't see most of the buttons in learning mode. Also, there's little path from randomly staring at the chords to doing the quiz... would be better broken down into progressive lessons.

In like this as lot.i studied musical theory 10 years ago, & thought i'd forgotten most of it, but now i know in can easily revise anytime in like.

There are better designed apps out there than this. Uninstall.

It doesnt play the note and crashes each time i click it

C70%

Can we get a key signature quiz?

C70%
by C####:

The major-minor seventh chord should be the same as a dominant seventh. This needs to be corrected!

C70%

Too advanced 4 me.

What is this app supposed to do? It just shows a cut, blurred page.

W70%

@david I think italian is b6-1-#4, french is b6-1-2-#4 and German is b6-1-b3-#4 great app BTW but should explain!

J70%
by J####:

Would prefer the answer to the current chord be shown at the end of the quiz with the chord still visible. Also: minor-major, not major-minor.

D70%
by D####:

It would b nice to have inversions but its a great app for learning and keeping up with music theory

R70%
by R####:

I know this shows my lack of knowledge, but I couldn't find a good explanation of French/Italian/German 6ths

C70%
by C####:

Grear Application!!!!! I would love to see key signatures, that would help so much! THANK YOU!!!

Here's a suggestion: play the chord all together after it plays the notes of the chord.
