FAQ:
- Can Quicker launch after phone restart? Yes, just install it to the phone memory (not SD card)
- Why Brightness switch does not work? If you have a SwipePad running, then it can interfere with this function on Android 4.0 or higher devices.
NOTE 1: Although Quicker does its best to switch Mobile Data, GPS and WiFi Hotspot with a single click, there are devices / Android versions where these settings cannot be switched directly. In such cases shortcuts to stock settings are available only.
NOTE 2:
Why no direct switch? Because Android security model does not allow installed applications to change secure system parameters. This is done to protect users from malicious application that can misuse those parameters otherwise.
Very useful shortcuts
Beautiful and useful app. but call and notification volume is controled by same bottom. I wanna separate these.
My last version has no ads.
This app is incredible. Great enhancement to jelly bean toggles.
Use all the time, had a problem last update, but this has been fixed, thanks to the developer. Back to be useful THANKS
I had a problem with Quicker not running on Lollipop or Marshmallow and a recent update fixed that. I then had a problem with the update lacking a menu button on my Nexus 7 (making it impossible to access Preferences from within the app), so within about one day, the developer added a Preferences item to the context menu! While I, like some other commenters, have been disappointed that Quicker hasn't seen updates for a while and isn't taking advantage of the higher-resolution displays of today's phones/tablets (e.g., max of 15 tiles per screen), I have yet to find any other app which provides notification-shade access to settings and shortcuts to apps. (I've found such apps for settings and other apps for shortcuts, but none of them do so as elegantly as Quicker.) Thank you, Sergej, for making (and updating!) such a helpful app. Now that functionality has been restored for L and M devices, I hope that we faithful users can look forward to more updates. :)
I use this several times every day. Combined with a launcher (eg. Nova) it makes things easier and, as you'd expect, quicker.
Sure would be nice if I could get to the prefs on my lg g-pad f7.0. Want to restore the backup.db I put in gdrive but the dot dot dot in bottom right is missing!? Also, can't get it to do anything but force close on nexus 10 marshmallow.
Loved this for years, but notes it force closes in Marshmallow
Can't open menu with LG G3
Please help. Been forever.
I loved this app and the ability to access functions quickly. However with the newest update for Samsung S5 by AT&T, a Quicker banner appears on my locked screen all the time now which is very annoying. How can I get rid of this banner?
I've been using Quicker since before the Android stock quick actions came around and still use it today. It's one of the few apps I love enough to buy the full version. I would have given 5 stars if not for two issues: since Android 5x, I can no longer select my LED flashlight, an often used feature. Second, I agree it needs a visual overhaul and perhaps new features to keep it more valuable than the stock action center. Still a must have, even if no longer perfect. :-)
After multiple device installations of this app, its still great. Especially if you use Nova Launcher with Gesture Settings...Yayah!!!
I've updated to lollipop and the lock screen has gone backwards. Pattern lock used to be on first screen when phone was turned on, which was perfect. You now need to swipe to get to pattern lock screen and then swipe pattern on the next screen. Clicking mobile data button used to turn mobile data on and off, it now jumps into mobile data settings where one can't simply turn data on and off.
Option to keep screen on doesn't works on galaxy S4
Been using for a long time now. But have a problem now.It doesn't delete all apps cache when I press button. always 1.15mb stays and doesn't delete.please sort it.
Good app but I really hope this hasn't been abandoned. ... WISHLIST ... More detailed stats like for WIFI row widget, it's really worthless. More rows and columns, I really don't need buttons that big. Custom icon pack support. Easier Rearranging of icons. Like when your moving an icon, it bumps others out of the way. Even though this app is aged it's still better than stock quick settings and new settings app that are out there.
Faster, returns as soon as you set something, plus can launch arbitrary apps. Was glad I bought it, even though ICS added settings from notifier, and JB added quick settings, this is still better control and faster. I still use it very often on both my nexus gizmos, it's faster, and easier to find things I commonly want. On lollipop, I still want it for numeric battery status in the top bar, and quick access to memory used and available, with percent.
Beautiful and useful app. but call and notification volume is controled by same bottom. I wanna separate these.
I used to really like this app. But now with Android 5.0 this is getting less useful because the developer doesn't update it.
If you have lollipop, this app is useless as most of the functions this app provided are accessible from the notification tray. It was great while it lasted though.
Having some issues accessing the settings menu. Other than that very useful app. Could use updated features like 4g switch as well as more widgets!
Quicker setting for VIP
Nice app
Needs updating
Great for changing settings quickly. One small problem is that the app does not recognize the size of my microsd. It says I only have 3.4 gb available when I actually have about 45/60 gb available on my sd. I've tried reinstalling and no change. I'm using a galaxy note 2.
I use it every day for many settings and other features. Straightforward, not beautiful, but is hidden till you need it and gets the job done. Curious about battery drain (but haven't noticed issues). Fine app.
The app just took a giant leap backwards. Android JB now merges the Ring and Notif, but that WAS one of the great things about this app - it previously separated them. One of the recent updates removed this feature. JB Fail!
Latest update is causing the app to freeze every time it's started. Essentially useless the way it is now. 4.1 jelly bean.
Very good app... but it force closes when I attempt to lower screen brightness levels to below the normal Android minimum. only started happening since the update to 4.2
How about a version for Root Users? This is great but more is possible.
Nice update (:
Samsung Galaxy Note
It's 2014 devs. Also the option to have clear icons instead of grey ones would be nice. Will re-review if the app updates.
I'm using Android 4.4 and in quicker the alarm is linked to the ringtone volume. The alarm volume can't be adjusted individually. It's really time for an update for this app. Android 4.4 has a quick settings menu and now with the volume sliders not working properly, this app doesn't have much use. UPDATE... the alarm volume issue has something to do with Android, not this app.
The menu is gone. It's hard to use this app without it. It may be a bug for LG G3. Please fix soon.
I love this app, first on i install on every phone i buy, just handy handy handy
I have really enjoyed Quicker but noticed a serious error with how quicker calculates remaining memory on the phone and SD card. 1. When I move data or files from phone memory to SD card, quicker will always show the same available memory fire both phone and SD. 2. I recently added a 34 meg and then 64 meg SD card, where Quicker shows only 1 or 2 megs free, but using the files search, it shows 32 and 61 megs free respectively. I started looking into actual phone available memory and found Quicker understate

Battery notification for LG V10 Verizon second screen seems to work with this app. The battery number appears, but it does not seem to refresh until the next time the phone is turned on -- which makes the battery info unhelpful. The number also gets cut off from both the right and the left. Needs more screen real estate or a skinnier font. Please make this work. I REALLY wish you'd fix this on "Settings Extended" app too -- the battery reads 0 at all times on the second screen when the main screen is off. Thank you.
