Buzz Buddy for Android
Clear, straightforward, easy to use. The only two things I can think of that would make it even better are: allowing vibration patterns to be input in number form (milliseconds on and off), and including "phone" or "incoming call" in the list of apps---it would be great to be able to set a pattern for calls too.
I've been looking for something that does exactly what this app does for the longest time. I normally keep my phone on vibrate, and it's annoying to have to take my phone out to check which one of my numerous apps has something it wants me to look at. It's small, user-friendly, works perfectly. Additonally, the developers are very helpful; they responded within a day with an answer to a request.
Never knew I could be missing this... how basic but how elegantly achieved. Pretty straightforward list and the style-guidelined UI fits right in now that my phone has finally been updated to ICS too! :P
Buzz Buddy is a very easy to use vibration customization tool. I found it very easy use and was able to setup custom vibrations for my apps within seconds. Just remember that when you're recording your vibration you don't hit the 'check' button but the 'stop' button in the middle which you clicked to start the recording.
Good after all
...to accomplish what this app does, before this app was out. Thanks for making this! I can't believe Android doesn't have this functionality natively. In particular, Google Voice has either an obnoxiously long vibration or none at all. Since couldn't stand how long it was, I didn't always know when I got texts. I'll be a better texter now~! Since this doesn't seem to make money (ads? fees?) is there any chance it'll be open source? I'd love to see how it works :) Also: - I like viewing all of by vibration patterns in one screen, so I can differentiate them. It reminds me of "Default App Manager", which is also super useful. - There's no lag or anything when receiving messages, I was a little afraid of that at first
I love how I don't even need to look at my phone to know what type of message I'm receiving. It's perfect!
This is a must have app!
By setting custom vibrations for each of my apps I can now tell which apps have notifications by how they vibrate in my pocket.

Decent concept but fell down on my first test notification, set up as described by the dev but did not work. Rooted HTC M10 with Venom rom. Shame
