Snap by Groupon: Grocery Deals

They completely changed it with no warnings. I figured that maybe it was because i wasnt logged in but as many times as i uninstalled and reinstalled it never gave me the option of signing in. I warn you DO NOT install. AND on top of that i think i had some cash backs to cash out and so all that is now GONE. -.-

The app opens, and shows me no coupons in a big Grey empty window with a button across the bottom that says something like "See 70,000 Offers". When I click that it opens Chrome and takes me to the Groupon website. I could have done that without an app, thanks. Second star is cos the app doesn't crash.

They do not offer option to receive payment via paypal. When I asked for a cash out, they sent me a check payable to my facebook name which is not payable. Asked customer service to fix it, 2 manager sent me replacement check BOTH PAYABLE TO FACEBOOK DISPLAY NAME, problem not fixed, check still not cashable. No follow up for 3 months. No apology no makeup no nothing. Will not use again and not recommended to anyone.

I don't get why they changed the app so much. It used to be like Ibotta and Checkout 51 where you would get $$ back for buying certain items. Now its just an app that shows where sales are. I had $$ back that I never received because of the change. I'm uninstalling the app asap

DO NOT GET THIS APP. I just lost all my money earned and now this is some non sense app that I will not use! WE DESERVE THE MONEY WE EARNED. I am sure the money totaled up by all the users that lost their money, would be A LOT!

I had worked for a long time just to build up what little bit of money I could no you can't cash out until you get $20 and now you people took my 18 something I had been working on forever!!! Really? Why did I waste my time. Horrible. No response to emails! They are not giving people their credits forget it.

When this was a cash back app I did use it, although there weren't a lot of offers. Before it switched to the new format I was able to cash out and receive my payment. Now the app is totally useless. Time to uninstall.

Im not fond of this app any more. Liked hownit was before the new way of saving. Liked it more when I can buy products and get credit/money in my account. Now it just gives deals at certain stores. Dont like it too much. Debating on deleting the app since I dont have use for anyof the discounts.

1 star only. I will be removing this app now since all the money I had earned is now gone without a chance to cash out. Not happy as this app has totally changed. I loved the way it was before. If it ever goes back to the way it was in the first place I would consider getting the app again.

Changed my 4 star to a 1 star only because I had to put something! This new app sucks and we all lost what we worked so hard to get. Uninstalling right now!

This app is worthless now that it doesn't have the coupon rebates. And all my racked up earnings disappeared! I used to love this app. Now it is a horrible, worthless app. Uninstalled. Deleted.

Latest update... i think this should be taken to consumer investigations and they should be sued for taking peoples money from the coupons that they promised. Never anything i can redeem always sold out been a month now and only earned $1. Dissapointed

What in the world happened? You guys completely changed it! It was awesome for getting cash back on groceries. I had money adding up that I was trying to cash in and bow it's gone! And so are the grocery offers. Now it's just a bunch of online shopping links and advertisements! Not happy

I can't stand Groupon nothing I've ever purchased had shown up and now they bought out snap. Uninstalling this out of my life Checkout51 Much better app go with them!

There's absolutely no offers anymore. I thought when you guys were going to integrate the two apps, you'd still be doing the cash back. No thanks.. You just completely lost me.

I used to really like this app but haven't found any use for it since it took away snapsaves &made it only Groupon. I've used Groupon once in the past and got ripped off & will never use it again Bring back snapsaves cash back app!!

The company changed its operation method and didn't allow users to withdraw the accumulated amount. There was no email from the company informing of the change. Emailed their customer care and no reply. Do not trust it.

My balance is gone and not worth the space on my phone now.... ugh I had referred tons of people to use this app in my Facebook group. Now I will tell the to remove it.

It went from being a cash back on groceries to yet another sales app, and thanks so much for offering me a chance to get the money I had earned off there first, way to go.

I loved it when they offered cash back for groceries. Now it's useless. Just picking up coupons from all over the Internet. There are many other apps that do that and they do it better. Or you can save the space and just use Google when you need this coupon. The app is useless to me.

This app is pointless. First you have to find the store you want, then you have to find the specific item that qualifies - and they are VERY specific. Then keep your fingers gets crossed & hope the discount code works. I haven't even been able to find where to check how many Groupon bucks I might have, even if it is $0. And Groupon has changed their pricing strategy. I can usually find what I want somewhere else for less and with free shipping. There's still a few good deals, but not many.

Lost my earned money because I didn't have enough to cash out before they changed. I can't use it for grocery rebates anymore. It is not groupon but app form basically. Lame.

They used to have coupons on grocerys and gave you cash back on it but now they totally changed this app and I really hate it they do not give you any grocery cash back a and took away everybody's earnings since you couldn't cash out until you got to the $20 level, this was a super bad change I am deleting it and they also need to change the name because the way they changed it has nothing to do with groceries

Sent email months ago after snap stopped being a rebate app, asked what happened to $6 credit that was suppose to convert to Groupon credit. Response was we don't know what you are talking about and we don't see any credit in your groupon account. Duh! Still nothing showing. The conversion of Snap is horrible! These "coupons " are so generic and can be found anywhere. It's a waste of storage space. Google codes & save space, but if you need an app shop kicks and retailmenot. Bottom line, where is my credit?

When you decided to take away the app that I originally had and made it into a different app. I use to shop and earn money on items I typically bought on a weekly trip to the store. This app is wanting you to buy but with discounts not money back. A waste of space used on my phone. Huge thumbs down on this program.

It used to be a decent app, when it was about groceries. Now with this change not only does it only offer discounts on certain purchases, it completely wiped out the money I had earned ($19, I was short one dollar to have it sent to my account). Severely disappointed. Uninstalling.

Do not care for new changes. Less likely to use now and even uninstall app. There's no search function. I have to scroll through the entire discounts in order to find one I need. That takes too long to find any discounts. Needs to be user friendly and go back to the old program before I change my rating and reinstall the app.

I heard of SNAP a while back and it seemed awesome! Well today, i seen that we could finally get it on android!! I downloaded it just to find out, not only did they sale out to Groupon, which I've never read our heard any positive comments about, but they also left all the customers that have accumulated $20 or less (which takes quite a long amount of time to achieve) without letting them cash their money out, and WITHOUT WARNING!! I THINK THAT'S CALLED ROBBERY! Better business burrough.......AWWW SNAP

Totally changed program and didn't allow anyone who had less than $20 cash out, even if we don't want to be a part of this totally NEW program. I no longer trust this company, and will never again use Groupon and am definitely uninstalling this app.

Decided to make a change and in the process they've lost all of their users! Changing from a grocery app to a general company/store type of app is of no use to us. Pass on this app it won't help you in any way!

I had $14.50 which could have been paid out but you decided to change the app completely so I'm uninstalling due to this reason. Rating 1 as the app is no longer a pay app.

Completely changed w/ no warning. Would be like if you downloaded an app for pictures, saved & edited a bunch of pics but then the app updated, deleted all your pictures & became a word processing app. Wasted time to build $$ balance only to not be able to cash it out before app totally flipped.

Yeah its cool getting cash back, but it takes such a long time because the app only has 20 ish rebates at a time and they're for things most people don't usually buy. I definitely recommend Ibotta if anyone's looking for a better app.

You changed the app and deleted my earnings. I have been working up to $20 for a year now. I'm deleting this app. It's not what l was promised.

I reinstalled app to start saving on my grocery bills again, as I am now a homemaker and stay at home Mom. We need to save money wherever possible. I have already UNINSTALLED. This is so disappointing. Why change the app completely, when so many people loved it the way it was? You should have created a new app specific to these needs and KEPT SNAP THE WAY IT WAS. SMH...Extremely and utterly disgusted. Hope you read EVERY comment and do something to change it back.

Why in the world change it to sth like "retail me not"? If we already have that one!! This one sucks big time...it is USELESS. What a BIG mistake the change was. UNINSTALLING right this moment.

A lot of people worked hard to build up some money in their account. Then without warning you change everything and take away what they have saved. You stopped putting up anything of value months ago to be able to cash anything thing out. Then with no warning you changed if you don't have the 20.00 you don't get a pay out. You get screwed. Do the right thing and at least pay out what people earned 20.00 bucks or not

While my cash balance is still there, there is no way to add to it or cash it out. Such BS!!! Now my $$ is gone and I have sent 3 emails and have still not gotten a reply!!

I'm happy that I was able to cash out my first $21 but upset that this new app is complete garbage so that first $21 will also be my last. I was giving this app amazing reviews and recommending it to my friends before the change. Now I'm not even interested in the Groupon app either. Sure did screw up by trying to fix something that wasn't broken..

Your Snap money did not disappear! Log in to your Groupon account, go to your account, and click "Groupon Bucks". When Snap changed from grocery purchases to digital coupons, an email was sent out saying that if you had less than $20 you would be credited in Groupon Bucks. I assume these bucks can be used to purchase Groupons. That said, this new Snap app is now pretty useless. Check out Checkout51.
