The Straits Times for Tablet

After so many bug fixes and the programmers still can't get it right. Subscriber but it doesn't recognise me. Sometimes I can read all the articles and on other days it bumps me out asking me to log in. After login, it repeatedly ask me to log in again. Can't you guys just set the cookies to expire only after a long period of time. Horrifying app

Pay and STILL got Full​ screen Ads!!!! 1. login and Stalls using app on Mipad. 2. On my 5.5 inch hand phone, the android App has Full screen Ads. Ads keeps popping up. Even after subscription. Until screen freezes. Delete / Reinstall not much use!! 3. Web viewing on CPU using Chrome/Firefox is slow or freezes mid frame! What are we Subscribers paying for here??

This is ridiculous! Subscribed for all in one but now cannot have offline version! How to read on plane?

Its good man. Totally. However, in my opinion, your should let people read the epaper even though they did not subscrbe for the newspaper. Thx. Hope u can take my opinion to consideration.

Just ridiculous to load the cover page every time. Wasting our time and data! Bad experiences.

Hmm... Mixed... The layout is good but seriously the app hangs way too often! So IT guys for Straits times (Android) apps, pls debug your app again.

This app has a severe user interface issue. It is also very buggy, despite being at version 6.0.6. When you click on article links within the app, it throws you into the external browser instead of opening the article within the app. PDF paper cannot be zoomed properly (after version 6.0.6 update, I can no longer zoom in to magnify articles on the right edge of the page).

Worst app. Take too long to load

As a new subscriber, the app works good so far.

If only it be read offline, this app would be fantastico

Why must ST need to access my photos and files in my tablet...? For all subscribers out there, if you deny this access, ST and the App will not allow you to view the PDF print edition. I paid for the monthly subscription and I got the right not to give access to my information in my tablet....!

Problem came back on the latest edition, can't read Print Edition off line again. Seems that when you guys do upgrades, you end up shutting off features. Did someone QC it?

Why does it keep prompting subscriber to make valid subscription again and again?

App always closes on its own. If ST not keen to produce app that work might as well don't introduce it. Waste of time

I love reading the Straits Times on my tablet, but whenever I open it stops, so how do you expect me to grade it 5stars.

App have improved significantly and stable. I am using it every day now. However, the latest version 6.0.1 the notification cannot be turned off. Very irritating. Please fix this bug as soon as possible. Thanks.

Is this already like the tenth version of the app where notifications are sent even when turned off? Inexcusable!

Lots of improvement went into this. So well done. I would rate this to be a very good, functional, smooth running app. However, the ads irritate me. ST milking consumers and advertisers alike for max shareholder value. Why am I paying $ for subscription and still have to suffer seeing pop up ads? Perhaps you can provide a lite subscription with ads and let us enjoy ad free app.

Never have i use any apps that crashes 90% of the time. Straits Time management should just sack this apps developer as the this developer is destroying Straits Time. Whats the point of me subscribing to all in 1 package when this crashings apps did absolutely nothing but crashing.

The update made it slower and for whatever reason, requires more frequent connections to the Internet. I completely couldn't read anything on my commute to work even though I tried to preload the content before getting into the train. Crashes consistently.

I have both the iPhone version and Android version. the iphone version allows pre-loading of issues when you are connected over Wi-Fi. conversely this is not the case for the Android version. also double tapping doesn't zoom out on the Android version whereas it does when you do it twice on the iPhone. Could you please add these functionalities to the Android version

After you zoom in a page in ePaper, you cannot see the right side of the page. Trying to move the page to left will bring you next page. Really interesting behavior but I simply cannot appreciate why it is designed this way.

After the update, keep sending me news which i have set to off mode in my setting. And loading the news also very slow. Pls fix all the problem.

Consider this a pay apps, it keep failing when I open the app from the news notification. And that had been going on for a while with no improvement in sight. You should be ashamed of yourself for putting up this app.
