Awesome app, works on all my devices, system had hickups in the start (hence the bad reviews from people not knowing how to use it...). I love it.

You people are scum. Why in hell haven't you added a door release button in the years people have been telling you the app doesn't work? You are a bunch of sh!theads. You are also unbelievably bad programmers.

Half the time the app shuts itself down. The intercom board doesn't work according to its instructions. Support documents don't address the bugs. Had to figure out a workaround just to register. Disaster, the whole thing. My guests can just call me without any of this added hassle.

My app continually says "Can't find internet connection" regardless of the connection being used, won't receive any calls from my apartments callbox, and have missed several guests trying to gain entry.

At first, I didn't like this system. After speaking with their customer support the person who I spoke with was VERY calm and PROFESSIONAL. he explained about the features (pretty cool). I give this app 5 stars for customer service and 3 stars just because if the internet goes down No intercom. I had them connect it to my landline (No more Video call) but I get an email from ButterflyMX with the image of the person who called.

I dont understand why this app needs to access my camera multiple times in the background. Pretty shady if you ask me.

Overall design on app is OK. For some reason, the only way you can actually open the door is if someone calls you from the terminal outside the building. Why isn't there just an "Open Door" button as soon as you enter the app? Half the visitors I've had don't find the terminal interface intuitive, so they call me the regular way and I end up going downstairs to open the door. Also, there is too long of a lag time between calling from the terminal and the app notifying you that someone is there.

This is the worst system. It keeps breaking down and getting hacked. Now I have to drive to the next city over to get my packages because the delivery people couldn't contact me. Booo

Useless, it's just an additional way for the landlord to send you automated annoying reminders that your rent is due, even if you've already paid. So I got 2 emails and a text all saying the same thing

It's often disconnected. Today I've missed a courier because the app didn't send a notification. Why other apps can stay connected but not this one? I have to report this to building management so maybe they'll find more suitable solution than this.

It works sometimes.. Would be much better if you could go to the app and press a button to open the door without having someone ring you first (for non-tech-savvy visitors). Rings late and has left my guests waiting at the door.. Not horrible but needs improvement.

Absolutely garbage. Won't stay connected. Mobile app is terrible, anytime a visitor calls I get a still image instead of video then the app crashes. Uninstalling and using as a traditional Callbox over telephone

Fantastic app... Handy

Garbage. Touch screen downstairs works half the time, guests just give up, thinking no one's home. Only connects to phone half the time.

App works as it's supposed to with my phone. Fairly reliable. The hardware at the entrance is sometimes hard to use for non-tech savvy people like grandparents, in which case, it would be nice to be able to unlock the door from the app without someone actually ringing you.

When I was first introduced to the ButterflyMX I went to download the app and saw these low ratings and thought to myself is this the correct app? But after using the system it has made life easier in many ways

I only get phone calls and then have to go down 8 floors to open the door. Don't know what the point of the app really is.

1 out of 10 times does this thing actually work! Every other time I get a call but it does no good as I can't let them in. I end up having to go down 5 floors to let my guests in- if this thing worked liked designed I'd love it, but it hardly does. I'm trying to talk management out of continuing to use it- time for something that actually works!

This is about as useless as a door buzzer can be. They installed their hardware at our apt block and since then 90℅ of the time I have to go downstairs to let anyone in. Also the UI of both the app and the hardware was obviously not done by designers.

Great for parties and inviting people

Wow, does this suck! I was really excited about this at first, since my old apartment had a security door you had to open manually. Despite all of the information on my profile appearing correct, I nagged my apartment complex non-stop about it not working because I assumed they did something wrong on their end. Except... I eventually got it to work a total of ONE time. Ever. Never before, and never since, and this was when I was just testing it, so the one time wasn't even practical. Aside from that, not only does it never work, but I don't even get any sort of notification that someone had attempted to call me or any messages I send (indicating it's not just an at-the-moment connection issue). I'm changing my contact preference to phone call to see if that's more reliable. Hopefully they can't screw up simply calling me, but I'll report back if they somehow manage to. As far as this app, stay far, far away. And if you're considering moving to a complex that uses this service, count it as a negative.

The app's idea is brilliant, but it never works. Can't receive calls or open the door for my guests through the app. Every time I have to go downstairs myself to open the door.

This app is worthless. It never works when I get a package unless it's running in the background

Doesn't work on the pixel

It's always disconnected. I have to make sure it's running in the background to make sure it is connected. I can only let people in if they give me a heads up that they're on their way so I have the app open. What's the point??!

Great concept, but at this point I'd rather have a plain old buzzer so I can actually let my guests in. I've lived in a building with this system for 2 months and it's literally NEVER worked once.

Only works on 1 phone per apartment. Did they not think that most apartments would have couples that have friends that want to come over when there better half are not home?? Would get 5 stars if I could use it.

As an installer I could proudly say that it's an amazing product and a big advantage for installers and for end users, never miss a delivery again! Already installed 3 of them and all tenants are enjoying it. Thanks for making a product like this!

Only works occasionally

No matter how many times some one buzzed in (I could have the phone in my hand) by the time the app opened the call dropped. I never once was able to buzz open the door with my phone while my apartment used this app.

Great app simply the easy way!
