Works great on Google Play music. But does not work with every music player... the n7 player is one of my favorite music players but the only thing I can manage to do is pause/play, any other gesture doesn't work or immediately pauses when I attempt do go to a previous song.

This app is really annoying because it's way too sensitive on the screen, even with 5% sensitivity. It pauses whenever I type on the keyboard and such. If there would be a way to toggle the front then this app would be wonderful

When I use it while riding on motorcycle. Due to shock its just skipping tracks everytime by itself. Even I adjust the sensitivity in settings. It does not work well while riding.

Q70%
by Q####:

I agree with all the other ratings, but I have given it 5star because this is something innovative and new, and there is no other app that can assure this. Loved the method it can be made better and more innovative but keep making it better people

I was looking for a new way of changing songs and here it was. In my bed, when I'm lying down everything works fine, as it should, at any given sensitivity. But when I really need it, in my pocket when I'm walking down the street the songs keep rolling, every two steps I take. In short, the sensitivity is way too high making this software, for the moment, useless.

is there something I am doing wrong? I have this on my nexus 4 and galaxy sII, doesnt work at all. when the screen is on i see the "next" appear on the screen but it doesnt change tracks. I tried this with Google/Play Music and Spotify on both devices.

The sensitivity is indeed a bit of a problem. When I put the phone on the desk for example, tipSkip recognises nearly always a gesture. I don't know how you coded the recognition, but maybe you can change something so it recognises if it's a softer knock, like with a finger rather than a hard knock when you put the phone on a hard surface. Also it would be better if skipping the track doesn't neccessarily unpause the playback. Because if you have the playback on pause for a reason and the skip gesture gets triggered accidentally, it causes embarrassing situations. For example when you put your phone on the shelf in the cinema. Best behaviour would be to just ignore any gesture when the playback is paused and just the skip track gesture is active. Also it would be nice, if tipSkip could recognise if no player is running and then it shuts itself off. And the other way around. I don't know if this is actually possible to code. If it is, just add a possibility to switch that feature on and off in the settings. Also a Widget would be nice to quickly switch tipSkip on and off. Especially if you can't solve the issue with the sensitivity or unpausing when the next-gesture is triggered.

you want people to buy your app, but won't let them choose what app to try it with. not everyone uses Google music. I might of bought it, but not when I can't even try It...

Okay so I normally don't do this. But I have been looking for a track control app that let's me skip tracks for slacker radio while it is holsters or in my pocket. I drive a motorcycle and it is unsafe to have to unlock my phone to skip tracks. This is the only app that will allow me to do this. Galaxy s6 active

Why it is not working at horizontal position like put on desk? It needs little aim for to work that I experienced. For me it works at all positions except on table lying horizontally. It starts to work again when I put a thing under phone for little angle.

0% and 100% are the same. I have mine set to 0% and the songs skip just from me typing on my Samsung Galaxy S5. I loved this app on my iPhone (but hated my iPhone). I would love to LOVE this app again on my SGS5. Please fix the sensitivity settings... Please, please, please!?

Handy but inaccurate at times. I would rather use more subtle methods like knocking with my fingernail.

I paid for it, but it's impossible to use in motorcycle riding. The sensivity control just doens't work. The app changes songs every time even at 1% sensivity.

As reviewed on Android App Addicts.. works without a problem on my phone with Podkicker. I think it uses a little bit more power than I'd like though,

Coming from an iPhone, I missed being able to skip tracks while the screen was off, simply by double-tapping the home button. This is just what I was looking for. Thanks!

I would like to see more custom features such as volume control and it would be great if it worked even when the phone is locked (Note 2). Maybe also an option to autorun the app when headphones are inserted and a setting which makes the app work ONLY when headphones are connected. Otherwise awesome idea and good job. Look forward to seeing more.

Very cool, but needs custom action configuration and option to enable/disable actions. There are accidental actions sometimes.

Desperately needs option to disable while the screen is on. App is a lot better than when I first tried to use it

Sensitivity level doesn't work making walking and jogging not work which makes it unusable. I want a refund.

R70%

100% and 0% are exactly the same. If it's in my pocket, it keeps randomly changing songs. And when I tap it to change songs, it only works half the time. Detection is absolutely horrible. Wouldn't waste my time if they don't fix it
