Mute by Location

Worked great except it interrupted me every 17 minutes to say it didn't have a location update. The point of the app was to have FEWER interruptions, so I uninstalled. If I could mute that warning, I'd give 5 stars.

Does this thing really need to refresh every 6 seconds? My goodness, at least allow us to determine how long we want want he refresh rate to be. This busby big potential battery drain for no reason. Allow us to change the refresh rate. And allow us to change ringer to vibrate or mute or normal, when you aren't in the mute point Also, this app could use a sleep timer for night time, for those who don't want the app to change the ringer in the middle of the night or scan for location while they are asleep

It frequently fails mute by location detection and then AUDIABLY notifies me that it cant find a mute point. This is, of course, when I am at a mute point. I would buy this app if they resolved this frequent annoyance.

Frequently does not mute when is supposed to, and also has a habit of unmuting despite not exiting the area in which its supposed to be muted. When it does the job, its great, its just getting to do that consistently that is an issue.

It usually works as advertised. One needs to give the boss some margin, since GPSs aren't perfect. I have a big report and a suggestion. The schedule stopped working in the last version, though, and both schedule and disabling the service only are in effect for a fraction of a second. On the other hand, location updates for both sound and mute work fine. I am running stock android 5. For the suggestion, sometimes, inside a building I cannot get a lock, so the app sends me a notification. I would like to have the option of seeing it to silence if location is not available, since I am probably inside, and therefore I probably want it quiet. On the other hand, I do want it to sound while I am outside, so I don't want to change the default.

Mute on/off setting worked previously but now it doesn't work all the time.

Once in a while I lose connection, it just happens. I don't want be notified about things I can't do nothing about.

It works great! It's pretty easy to use. Now I don't have to remember to put my phone on vibrate when I get to work! This app saves me time and trouble. Thank you!

App works when active, but it seems the process is killed eventually. So I have to reopen the app to get it to work again. It then realises where you are and updates the sound profile accordingly. Please Fix! I found a temporary solution by selecting notifications to stay on. Annoying having the notification always there, but at least it works. The way the app works and the simplicity makes it far better than the other apps that either have to 'learn' your locations and can only set really discrete points, not whole ranges like this app. P.s thanks for the reply developer! I have upgraded to 4 stars. Hopefully Samsung fix things soon.

When it works, it's great. Occasionally it will say I'm in a location several blocks away even though Google Maps pinpoints me exactly. I would have to increase the mute location dramatically to get it to work, which defeats the purpose.

Nice polished app, however service never stays resident and rarely activates my mute points on my Samsung S6

Ringer comes back on at random and triggers prority interputions. Please fix.

Won't silent my phone since the Lollipop Update.

It took me so long to find an app that worked, but this is it. Puts my phone on vibrate when I go to certain locations and puts it back to normal when I leave. Just what I needed.

Does exactly what it said it does. It mutes perfect everytime I pull up to campus and turns ringer back on when I leave. Haven't had a problem yet. I havent seen any noticable battery drain either. Almost all of my lecture class has started using it. Great app.

The functionality it is designed for is great, but there's a problem: it means you have *no* manual control of the ringer once you start this app. Instead of remembering your current volume/silence setting, this app always sets your volume to whatever it's settings say. That renders things like volume keys or silencing apps basically useless. So don't use this app unless you're willing to use it *exclusively* to control your ringer.

Loved that this was easy to set up and use but then it kept letting my phone ring in mute points :(

I'm having a hard time for the goods getting in even the neighborhood of where I'm at. Note 2

Now it randomly stops paying attention and just assumes I am still where I was the last time it bothered to check. I have to restart the phone to get the app to update my location.

I only have one mute point set which is for work and it has worked flawlessly it mutes very soon after I walk in through the front door. No more awkward moments with my phone going off in meetings!

I have two mute points set so far, one for work and one for the movie theater. The one for work has worked perfectly, it mutes my phone and unmutes it without me having to do anything. Haven't been to the movies yet. I like how you can set it for different volumes. Being able to touch the map to set a point is cool too!

Does not allow user to visualize adjustments in the size of a mute points radius. Does not support landscape mode.
