Heat Index for Android
HI is sometimes referred to as the "apparent Temperature". The HI, given in degrees F, is a measure of how hot it feels when relative humidity (RH) is added to the actual air temperature
Does not compute temperatures or relative humidity readings outside of a certain range. Uninstalled.
Installed app on my android unit. Found app to work fine and was not hard to figure out how to use it. Will revisit my review when I can test it in warm weather when it will be used extensively.
Why won't you change it so users can enter a humidity less than 40%??? Should be a pretty easy fix. People really dislike it. Good except for that!
simple&works perfect. To the complaining reveiws...if there isn't a temp above 80 or humidity higher than 40% there is NO heat index.
The UI is garbage, but that's no problem. You expect people to look up the temp and humidity? Use location and get that info on your own.
Limited, won't work with numbers below 40
Perfect, simple app! Must have for any wx buff! EVO 4G 2.3.3
Doesn't work
Can not put humidy less than 40%
The fact that I can't put a rh les than 40 is an app stopper.
Thank you
Very simple to use
Works great on Moto Droid1 with Froyo 2.2.1 OS. My thanks goes out to Business Compass for another great app!
Horrible, only calculates above 27'C!
Humidex readings in C* is incorrect. We hit 44* with humidex at work, this tried to tell me it was only 37*.
Yes it tells you what the heat index is if its above 80 degress and the humidity is above 40 percent
Needs to read outside temp and humidity
