Nothing here that isn't already in my favourites or on Twitter. DFES, ABC radio, etc links. No feeds like I expected or worthwhile maps. One of the few apps I have tried and deleted. Android version only gives you a sliver of a screen with a big red headline Are you bushfire ready? Obnoxious advert. Satellite image doesn't have any info on it. Go to Myfirewatch.Landgate for mapping stuff.

When you take a day off and head to the Dunolly bush to gold detect and smell smoke! Downloaded this app and found all is well, but I was ready to evacuate, nice to have when needed, great app. Saved a lot of panic.

It's one of 2 apps I use to monitor bushfires because not only are we in a bushfire prone area on the edge of town but beyond our backyard is national park. We are in the dry Australian outback and we need to keep track of what's happening each fire season but we don't put all our eggs in one basket, as I said this is one of two.

The app looks and perform well so far. I have only used it for a short time, but time will tell. One thing I would like to see is the red bar are you prepared, at the bottom of the page. It would allow the screen to be better utilised, save some scrolling time and less overshoots.

It immediately told me to download an updated version but not from Google Play! That's classic malware behaviour. I'm not willing to take the chance, so uninstalled.
