Machinist Buddy Pro for Android
In my opinion it doesn't have enough materials to choose from. It seems all forms of chrome molds are missing and no specifics as to what type of aluminum or stainless. This would be useful to me if it had them, but until that time it isn't much use to me personally as a gunsmith
Missing several reference dimensions, such as in charts, parts of reference graphics are cut off, like the Morse taper graphic
This app has come along way. When I first started using it there were so many problems it was virtually useless. But I knew someone had a great idea and eventually it would work out. Guess what? Someone did work it out and now it is very useful for quick reference and calculations in day to day machining. YOU GOTTA LOVE IT!!! Thanks for all the great work. It would he nice to have some additional G and M codes to cover lathe programming. Maybe add a section for G and M code examples.
I have a question about the "tap drill size" under threading . it gives a tap feed rate for lathe operations. Am I missing something? Thanks
I program almost daily and I use this little gem tons! What a time saver! BRAVO! !!
I use it daily
Not landscape friendly, and buttons and boxes could be bigger for the tablet screen. More specific material choices would be great.
Would like to see the starret drill chart added to the reference section.
Decent app but u pay for full version n there still adds on it. Wtf??
I use this everyday for a quick reference. Can you please add right triangle calculator on here also? Thanks!
Very useful. Could use a little more "polish", but hey, for $1.99 you can't beat it! I especially like the bolt hole calculator. Highly recommend this app.
I am a midnight forman at a machine shop with several apprentices, I have told all of them to download this app. I feel it would help them greatly. The only thing I would like to see is the diagrams a little clearer and able to expand. Thanks Andrew

As far as I can see this program has helpped me everyday. My question is this is there a zoom function for the referance section?
It would be nice if more materials were in the feed rate calculators like c110 copper or any tool steels a-2, o1 w1 s7 any CPM steels. All in all it has been great for reducing my set up time.

Enough with the obsolete English system already.
There are some good calculators here. The interface is pretty basic but functional and easy to navigate.
Lots of useful tools for any machinist is this app. Use it everyday!
I use this app at work all the time. Really good job on making app and all machinist should down load it..keep up the good work.
