Runes Alphabet Teacher

This is geared to the neo wiccan people. The ogham would be before the runic letters. I'm seeing people saying they are druid and writing in a bos. Druids wrote in ogham for memorial stones. A bos is neo pagan stuff and just basically a journal. The rune meanings here are also neo pagan with some that are correct in meaning. Most of the translation has been lost to the newest wiccan meanings. Not a bad app but not very historically correct.

I was under the impression that this would teach Futhark Runes, so it should really be clarified in the description that it isn't. Also, I wanted a way to see the entire alphabet at once, not just a letter at a time and also how to pronounce them.

I apppriciate the lettering. I learned quickly. Some words are tricky but I love it the same. Very little sticking loading.

The interface is strange and not intuitive. That would be 2 stars if not for the fact that I saw the English letter Y correlated to the rune Eihwaz. I'm no expert, but from what I've seen, that isn't correct. That entire section seems odd, and is a good example of the poor interface—why not just have a list of the letters and correlated runes? Is it supposed to teach how the runes are pronounced within a word?

This app isn't very useful for learning the Runic Alphabet. It needs to have the names of each Rune, and perhaps an audible pronunciation of their names.

X IS Gebo the Gyfu Rune "G" meaning gift or union your test refers to it as X, need a bit of practice on carving,staining and reading before misleading non Germanic folks on our ancient tool of divination,sir.

The runes are correct to the best of my knowledge and research. Not all are the same but if you learn these than you can read almost all of them

Only has 24 runes in alphabet. Futhark has more than 24 letters

Im a druid this app is not wrong about the signs and or meanings. I write in my B.O.S with futhark runes. This is not the astutre futhark runes. Btw diffrent traditions have a very slittly diffrent futhark system. For the Most part is basicly the same. PLEASE DONT comment saying this app is miss leading caues its not.

I also think that this is one of the first written languages and is bound to have been modified by the cultural and regional variations,, at least this app is helping to revive this ancient and almost unused language. Blessings
