Focus GTD

Great that there is Omni focus sync for Android. I was worried that I'll pay for app that doesn't work. To be frank now it's on my startup screen. Have some lacks but well I'm happy it works,it's not official app but still worth buying.

When a project which "set complete when completing last action" on Mac and "repeat every day” ,is complete in FocusGTD,it should be regenerate just like on Mac.Please support it,thank you!

Pretty good but some things are driving me crazy: 1) OmniFocus for Mac allows me to order projects the way I want by using drag and drop in the project list - Focus GTD seems to ignore this order and just sorts projects randomly with folders first. I would like Focus GTD to use the same order as OmniFocus for Mac. 2) One thing that I like about OmniFocus is that I can give projects a context so I don't have to assign the context manually to each task in the project. When I create an action inside such a project using the plus button that action should not have a context by default - it is unnecessary because the project already has it. (Reproduce: Side bar > Contexts > select a context > select a project > tap on plus sign) 3) No attachments. 4) Projects and actions could be a little bit smaller so more items fit on the screen.

OmniGroup need to get their finger out and support this app. Every few months, iOS falls further behind Android and Apple's reality distortion field is slowly wearing away. This app isn't perfect - there is a noticeably delay after tapping menu items, items ought to be sorted by type etc. But - this is a really excellent attempt by one individual to replicate a complex app on another platform and it is absolutely worth buying and using if you already use OmniFocus on Mac.

I agree with the past couple of users. Focus GTD is a great app and also that omnigroup should support this app with open arms and cheque books. Thanks to focus GTD app dev crew for making such a seemless integrating app with what appears to be little support from OF( just going by what OG release in public statements).

Great for symcing Omnifocus iOS app to Android. Can we include a watch app for Gear S2 or S3?

Brilliant app. Syncs both ways. Shows context, as well as project/tasks. Even has a simple forecast view. Why didnt Omni do this for us Android users? Their loss. Well done to Reiner Burgstaller.

Contacted developer about issue, informed me he was on holiday and would contact me when back, never heard anything.

This a great app and I love it functionally, it would be great if the design and look and feel of the app was better.

Great application. A must have for all OmniFocus users with an Android device. The developer is very responsive. The UI/UX could be improved, but it's functional and worth a lot more than the asking price.

Doesn't show tasks of nested sub-contexts within a context. Say you have created a context for "On the Go" you'll then have to open each individual sub-context (eg. "Groceries, Office Store, Hardware Store, etc.) in order to see any tasks since a summary view of tasks isn't available when highlighting the "On the Go" parent-context. Not sure what's the reasoning for that omission. Also there is no support for Perspectives!

It doesn't have the best looking interface, but it's functional and actually works which is more than any other omnifocus app on Android can say. I'm very happy now that it works with the encrypted database.

Brilliant app delivers every time!! Excellent support too, fast and efficient!! ...What more do you need? Maybe a search function??? Now that would be nice.

Works well. I am thrilled that it syncs to omnifocus on my iphone. I do wish it would list the number of tasks available in a given project, context, or sub folder.

After using Focus GTC for about a week sync would run without complaint but would not result in having the latest data from the server. I deleted the local database and synced again and it then did sync the latest data. But that's a hassle and makes me wonder about the integrity of Focus GTD. Is it going to lose or corrupt my data? Not happy.

Focus GTD now works with encrypted databases. I had a little issue with my webdav server configuration (disable multiviews) but the developper was able to quickly identify the problem and helped me fixing it.

Quite simplistic compared to omni on mac and iOS with no perspective/filtering customizations but still invaluable since it provides access to omnifocus database for retrieving and modifying projects

I'm very pleased indeed that repeating tasks have arrived. Very pleased.

Won't sync, and apparently that means I have to install an app from an unknown source, and send the output to the app creator for "analysis". I'll do it, and if he analyzes it and comes up with a solution, I'll give a better rating, although 5 stars is out of the question, at this point.

Great app

Sync didn't work for me and the app started to render differently from the Omni database. However the developer was very helpful in trying to sort it out - which I'm sure he would have done had I have given him the chance. I couldn't be bothered to work out how to get the database to him. I've decided to use RTM as it's got a native Android app - so long omnifocus.....

Just wish the UI could be designed a bit better

I gave this app 2 stars before the latest update because tasks were unflagged and I lost very important information because of that. After the update I want to change that to one star. The bug has not been fixed and now I cant even add a new task. The suggestion of the app was to delete the local database and resync. Which only led into the loss of all tasks and with them my complete trust in this app. Very sad because it looked so promising in the past.

The developer was quick to respond to my feature request. Having the OF app is what I miss most about my iPhone. This app is a great help! Syncs mostly without issue. Sometimes there is a small difficulty with duplicate entries or entries coming back to life after I marked them as complete. But overall it's a great addition to my home screen.

No iPhone needed to take advantage of OmniFocus.

I hope the developer will continue to update and bugfix this app since this seems to be the best OmniFocus compatible app so far. Well done!

I am sure this app can help me to get organized, i even think its possible a very good app, but I have emailed a query about the app and had no reply. Possibly should have emailed before purchasing, but at the moment I am unable to use it properly!

I find syncing to be somewhat inconsistent. But the biggest problem is that I cannot see all of the tasks in the "all tasks" view. It leaves out some projects. Very hopeful about the app, though, and grateful that the developer is working on it. I look forward to giving it 5 stars soon!

If it wasn't for Focus GTD I'd have had to buy an iPhone!!!! Does what it says on the label without complications!

Omnifocus was the only reason I kept my iPhone. Very happy to now be able to use Android as my primary phone :)
