Chakhul Garhwali Dictionary application is an initiative to preserve and promote Garhwali language of Indian Himalaya state Uttarakhand which is designated as a vulnerable language by UNESCO's Atlas of the World's Languages in Danger.
Chakhul is an offline Garhwali dictionary that uses Devnagari language inputs through keyboard and voice recognition. The interface is simple and user-friendly which helps to learn Garhwali easily.
The dictionary provides bilingual search - Garhwali to Hindi and Hindi to Garhwali. Moreover, the application is equipped with the information about Garhwali culture, traditions and heritage. It let the users to know more about Garhwal in different aspects such as Personalities, Folk, Food, Music etc and various facts too.

Words which are not present in our parents garhwali vocab are present in chakul. The best way to study(promote) a language which is on the verge of extinction and is on the list of UNESCO ENDANGERED language . Developer step appreciated.
