Rasul (bahasa Arab: Rasul; Plural Rusul) adalah seseorang yang mendapat wahyu dari Allah dengan suatu syari'at dan ia diperintahkan untuk menyampaikannya dan mengamalkannya.

Dalam pengertian agama samawi, nabi adalah manusia yang memperoleh wahyu dari Tuhan tentang agama dan misinya. Lebih khusus lagi terdapat istilah rasul yang dalam agama Islam dibedakan bahwa rasul memiliki kewajiban untuk menyampaikan ajaran yang diterima dari Tuhan.
