Welcome to the iAlertz Notification and Alert app! Based upon New York State’s web-based mass notification product, NY-Alert, the mobile iAlertz app is designed to provide users with critical and emergency information in a quick and simple app, which can be accessed on the go.

The iAlertz app is provided by the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services (DHSES) and was developed in partnership with Buffalo Computer Graphics, Inc. and 911Next Corporation. Best of all, iAlertz is provided free to all citizens in order to help keep them, their families, and their property safe.
The information provided within this application is not intended to replace 911 in the event of a personal emergency or crisis. If you are in need of immediate police, fire, or medical attention, DIAL 911.

I have never received any alerts via this app, even when I received alerts by other means. The only useful functionality is the service lookup, which is somewhat practical but easily found by other means.

Signed up using nyalerts account and input location info, and though I can see alerts on the website, there are no alerts listed on the app.

We are currently having a severe snow storm and guess what.. No alerts for my area or any area in the U.S.

Can't sign into account on Android tablets, ( Samsung ) app needs to be fixed, also has problems with GPS and keeps loading and loading
