WiFi Shoot! WiFi Direct for Android
My tablet doesnot have bluetooth so I installed this but it keep saying enable wifi direct when I said ok go to settings it take me to mobile networks in my tablet settings there is no wifi direct settings please help me because I want to transfer files.
Very hit and miss. More misses than hits unfortunately. Can waste a lot of time trying to connect and send files between two Android ver. 4 devices, and thats for the paid version of the app.
1) Does not work between two Android 4.4.2 devices, although I followed tutorial video. Either "invided" or "searching". 2) Unfriendly to tablets, forcing portrait mode. Unusable app, or the technology is not yet matured to be usable.
Maybe its just the free version but you have to start the receive app for each file you send. Time consuming.
Works very similar to Bluetooth file transfer but faster because it's wifi-direct. It works really well if your gallery app will let you share multiple files at the same time.
Bad cant use
Couldnt create link on Galaxy S6
To dam slow
Its an ok app.
Nice
After buying this app I just wanted to transfer 1.6Gb after around 150mb or says 'fail' with no reason. can't recommend this app. At least sell things that work
Absolutely horrible app. Want to try out "send file" from a Nexus 4 to a Nexus 10 with the free version. Open gallery, open album, open pic, press the Wifi Shoot! icon. It asks "whether you want to upgrade to the premium version"? Press cancel, operation is cancelled. Press OK, I am forced to buy. So do you want to offer the free version or not?
I installed this app but not connected to my Samsung smart TV.
The one who done the Jobe with nexus 7 1013
Great app nice job
As above
Thanks
Done as what I need. It would be nicer if it supports sending different file types.
Very sad that it's not supported anymore.
I tried few Wi-Fi direct apps but this was the only one that actually worked. Bi directional transfer using one Moto G and one Nexus 7. Plus the permission list is not scary (compared to some other apps that ask for every permission under the sun). One non-critical but nice to have feature would be group transfer.
I've managed to make it work once and thats it. It's so bugged. HTC one xl 2 one xl.
Whatever I do it fails to send/receive any files. Maybe you try to do an app that works. Uninstalled.
Fails to do what it supposed to do (send/receive files). Don't bother to install it.
I am very happy because before so many apps tried but no results.now very easy to send WiFi shoot to another android mobile WiFi shoot.when send first must on WiFi direct both mobile then you can use WiFi shoot
My device had some problems with it that I had to work through, but it works fine once I got through them. HTC One m8 creates WiFi direct groups that prevent further connection. Probably something for the developers of HTC to address, but a workaround here wouldn't hurt
tried to send pictures, it will connect, but when i select share with wifi shoot, the app first tries to connect devices again(i previous connected both devices via wifi direct) and then after accepting connection the sending app suddenly closes out when i click share via wifi shoot..... when i have both devices running the app, all it says is searching.....[searching for what???? the devices are laying flat on my desk 4mm from each other...what is it searching for??????] S3 running 4.3 and Note 2 running 4.1.1 I'll give it more stars when it works as stated, currently for me, it does not....great idea, cool interface... but i'd prefer it work as stated and intended... Please fix.... thanks
We usually send big files......downloaded hoping big...."shareit" app is better
Sweet. Made the purchase and had a flawless transfer of 50mb zip file in seconds Kudos dev! I believe this was a beta and I'm impressed. I was astonished WiFi_direct was an issue and this is a great solution. Many thanks.
Works well.Bit of a learning curve for us old guys.It made WiFi direct work between my note phone and a off brand android tablet. :-)
I just wasted 2 hours trying to find a wifi direct app to work with my LG G2 (sender) to Nexus 10 (receiver). SUPERBEAM DID NOT WORK, WIFI DIRECT FILE TRANSFER (by Nick Adams) DID NOT WORK. My video was 787mb, so I paid .99 for the pro version. It worked exactly as the video showed and took 1 minute. Here is the best part. NO NFC, no Android beam, no bulky trying to hold devices back to back, no switches to toggle. SIMPLY WORKED. Sorry to be so shouty, but I was banging my head trying to make all these other apps work. None had tutorials either. So happy.
Paid for it. try to connect devices several times but nothing happen ....! hope developer will push a update....
A must have for supported phone users with tablets ... Especially if you take a lot of photos and videos. Nice job! For a sixth star, NFC pairing for devices would be great.
Thanks developers so much for your app.
It pains me to pay for a feature that should really be built into the OS. However, after I got sick of waiting 20 minutes to transfer batches of photos via bluetooth so i finally bought this app. Transfer times for 50 photos is now down to a minute or two. Really can't ask for more.
Nice & very faster..
Very good app I finally found something that can transfer from my lg motion to my nexus 7 and vice versa
Its not working while sending files more than 100MB
Multiple file sharing available only on premium version.
HTC not working on it

It worked OK by the trial version i upgraded to the full version and its lagging, not connecting, crashing. This is the worst application on the play store . don't cheat the users. I lost my money
