AirBubble License

This app is one of the few that I've actually paid for, and it is so close yet so far from being amazingly useful. But, as others have said, reliability issues make it pretty much not worth ever actually using. Refuses to start up half the time, and crashes with extreme and infuriating regularity. For now I'm sticking to wires.

Don't waste your time and money. This app stops working after playing a song.

They should not you allow to purchase the license if the app doesn't work with the device.

There is a little latency issue. Its not 100% synced with PC (video). Not sure if its the problem with this app or the server. I had to forward audio by few ms to get perfectly synced audio when I watch video

Now I can listen to my iHomeserver from my tablet and smartphone.

Makes it useless as a internet speaker if it hangs after a while... not stable

Using it on an old htc sensation ics and it works perfect. Streaming from an ipad works without a drop for hours at a time.

An excellent app - see my review of the evaluation version - but do check out the version first to ensure compatbility with you devices and network. Works great here with "Airfoil for Windows" to play anything from any of my PCs to my phone, and with Twonky, which enables me to control music playback on my phone using my tablet - neat!

I currently have an large Media Monkey Library. It so streaming from my media server to my airplay clients around my house, 5 possible total. Sync delay in ms is a must to sync across different vendors. The moment I got my room syncing perfectly, I jumped and purchased it right away. Airplay streaming across 2 audio rooms and my outside deck makers for an amazing house party.

App has reliability issues. Periodically stops working requiring app restart. Starting the app also has problems. The first time you start it it will open and then close immediately. It works the second time though.

I've tried several of the AirPlay receiver apps in the android store. This one runs great on my Android 2.2 device, without any issues. Latency is relatively low (works okay for beaming audio for a video stream, but not great). Continues to play while phone is off. Simple interface took very little effort to learn and use. No setup required (other than connecting your phone to the same mobile network as your airplay client).

This is the most useful app I've ever bought (its also the only). It works perfectly with my LG Optimus S and Samsung Epic 4g (sprint) which were just lying around. I hooked them up to my speakers, and they worked perfectly for 1/2 hour. There appears to be a glitch on some phones where when the screen sleeps, Airbubble stops working, so just download "Caffeine" by Syntaxa Inc and it will work. Other than that little hurdle, the app worked right out of the box. It's a steal.

Everything is great other than (maybe I just cant find the info...) Id like to be able to switch off the computer speakers from the phone and not have to go to computer everytime to change them back. Great app though, been looking for something like this

Must have app for any Android owner using an Android device. Especially when connected to an a/v receiver !!

Used this app to add a set a wireless speakers to my shower, using my old android phone.

The app closes everytimd i switch tracks sincd i bought the licence. What a waste of money!!

Works like poo on my Xperia Play, Nexus S, and now Galaxy Nexus. The music just starts freezing after 30 minutes of play.

Bought the license, but still dropping out. Disappointing, will be looking for alternatives. No updates in 6-8 months I see

ICS on SGS i9000 in Wifi Hotspot mode Constant crashes and losing airplay broadcast.

Not really a review just a simple thank you. This app gave an old and no longer used HTC Desire with android 2.2 new life as an AirPlay receiver for my speakers.

Even with AirBubble licence installed I’m facing 30 minutes limitation of AirBubble. Please resolve the bug.

Please ignore my earlier review comment. Earlier I reported a problem. Actually that was a confusion. AirBubble License is an app, which you pay and download. But that is NOT the one to run. You are supposed to run the AirBubble apps. Once you buy AirBubble License, the 30 mins restriction from AirBubble would be removed. I have tested and it works great. A definite must have Apps. After reporting the problem to the developer, I got an immediate response. Awesome customer service.

Worth the purchase. Works well and now every iOS / Airplay device near me can now play their music on my Android. Awesome.
