DJ Control

I've been using this with Virtual DJ 8 and I was shocked by how well it works. Some settings need to be changed in the software like 'reset eq on load' and a few others but once that was done I was making smooth mixes with this.

Thank you for this app!! This works perfectly with my virtual dj 7 pro!! One thing i wish for this app, make this app usb driven, not over WIFI connection!!

Setup: Fedora 23 Linux running MIXXX. Installation on Linux is straightforward. Instead of downloading the DSMIDIWIFI code from google, look for a package for your distro (dsmidiwifi for Fedora in my case). The code on gogole is compiled for 32 bit, so didn't run on my 64 bit system. The pre-built package took care of that. DSMIDIWIFI is the executable you run. After a few seconds, a DSMIDIWIFI icon appears and you can start MIXXX. MIXXX detected it and it was easily set up under options/Controllers. Basic 2-deck control works. U-D and L-R buttons let you step through menus (OK for library and playlists *if* you can see the screen). I'd like to remap buttons to control AutoDJ functions fade to next track and skip track. Ad display is obnoxious - I'd pay to get rid of it, and for a config file to customize commands (or I'll do it in MIXXX). Search library and see what is playing and what is in the other deck would be nice to have. I plan to play with this a bit and try it out over the weekend. I will revise (up) my rating if I figure out how to reuse some of the other buttons.

Works perfectly with loopmidi and DSWIFIMIDI and Virtual DJ home. One bug in the software is that both FX and EX Right 1 send the same key number "25". Can you please fix this. I think FX button should send key number "41". Thanks so much for excellent software,

Followed support and installation instructions for control but options would never show up in Mixxx. If this worked over USB instead of wireless it might stand a chance of working.

This app is really good, but could be better, please add more FX buttons maybe some vinyl animation and sound FX that would make it a perfect app, update it and I'll give a 5 star rating.

Don't know how to set it up. The instructions on the website are so unclear and so badly presented, like it was created in the 90th. I cannot make Tractor 2 to see "Hercules DJ Console Rmx ASIO" in "Audio Device" setup even after importing the .tsi settings.Installing MidiJoke driver ends with an interruption so it fails :( (Win 10 64bit) . I hope I will get some help, and if this will work, You earn my 5 stars rating :)

It sucks im a wanna be dj and i downloaded this before reading what it was . i wanted to mix from my left earphone to the right one lol . so many retarts quick to rate cuz there trying ti mix on there cellphone lol

If you have trouble installing MidiYokeNT you must go to your downloads and highlight it. Then right click it and select properties. Once you have the menu for that open select compatibility at the top. Look for the "Run Compatibility Troubleshooter" and it should work.

You guys are missing the point completely. You don't upload music to the DJ controller, you connect it to DJ software on a computer and use this app to use as your DJ equipment, and that's it. Of course it doesn't make sound, that's not what it was made for.
