NOW TV

First off it would be good to have all seasons not just 3-5 ie gold rush. I think the price is a bit steep when you can stream most things online now. The app is fantastic no bugs as of yet ( only used entertainment pack) would be 5 star is all seasons where available.

Great app been using it a while now! My only issue is when casting a movie to my TV, when i pause the movie and then want to resume it does not work. I have to then stop casting, go into my TV on the app and start all over again. When this issue is solved, i will be more than happy to give 5 stars

Really like this app. Used to be a Sky customer and loved the Sky app but I have to say, this is better. I can watch something and pick it up from where I left it on the app. Also I like how quick the catch up is. As the live programme ends, it goes on catch up straight after....perfect for when I have missed the episode and want to catch it on my tablet in bed. Also from the couple of questions I've just answered for this review, I now know that there are reviews from critics and Google Cast, which I hadn't actually noticed. Love Now TV, wish I had dumped the ridiculously overpriced Sky, long ago. Absolutely recommend.

Not providing support for the Amazon fire TV stick seems obstructive to me. Just because you sell your own hardware doesn't mean you should prevent us from using what we have when we move to you. Also i don't seem to be able to manage my subscriptions in the app. I'm trying now TV because i want to watch the f1, but i doubt if I'll stick around.

Only runs on 2 of my devices. Others had to be linked to my account before telling me they won't work (useless) so will now take 2months to remove them. No options to lock the kids tablet to the kids section. No search in the kids section. No option for default start screen. A very basic app with no real options or thought put towards the end user. Won't even run on brand new tablet as apparently its 'modified'.

Got access as part of my mobile contract and the ability to access weekly sports passes means i don't need sky and can legally watch most things i want. Opportunities to win passes are plentiful as well so can effectively cost you nothing. Quality is good just a shame there isn't the same control features as BT Sports

Priddy gud - but why put the sequel to movies without the original? Makes no sense. Other than that pretty user friendly. More of a synopsis on the app version would be better.. featured episodes of each subgenre would be nice. No real strong complaints though..

This app continuously kicks me off at least 2 to 3 times during a movie. It's incredibly frustrating! Can you please fix this problem ASAP Also another problem I have noticed is some movies have broken sound, I'm not entirely sure what is going on but the sound is just awful

We have two NOWtv boxes and the apps on our phones/tablets. Always runs smoothly and fast, instant in fact :) fab selection of boxsets and kids programmes. love how cheap and flexible the packages are! Wish I had found you sooner.

I had amazon but the shows on this are better suited to me as they are shorter and require less commitment. That sounds weird but with a newborn and a toddler watching 1 hour shows that require commitment and full attention can be a task to say the least so with amazon I felt I wasn't getting value for money but with now TV I do.

Now tv is offering latest tv series and movies as well as premium live tv channels for fair price. It's much better if you can update all box sets and live tv to 1080p quality. Please try to keep longer all episodes of hit tv series like walking dead. Cheers nowtv.

"Unfortunately now TV has stopped"- working first day now the moment I press play it closes. And I log on the TV and open now TV. It gives me the movie menu but my "Entertainment" pack ain't there? ?? Fantastic when it works.

Installed this on a BRAND NEW TABLET, it now says I can't play anything cause it says my device has been modified??? WTF?!?! It's a retail tablet from argos, it's not been touched! You expect me to pay for this?? Also when i finally get it working on my phone it play for about 10 mins and then cant connect at all AND IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY CONNECTION, MY CASHE, OR MY MEMORY, SO SORT IT!!

Not the best. It connects fine and streams fine, but as a control on tv or Chromecast it's useless. It seems to disconnect almost immediately after playing anything, meaning I have to use the Google Home app to pause whatever I'm watching.

Amazing selection of blockbuster films but not a gigantic quantity like Netflix but still quality unlike Amazon Prime Video which offer very little quality and a lot of trash. It is a bit more expensive but £10 for the Cinema Pass is fine. Must pay for TV Shows (Entertainment Pass) separately however. For that + no subtitles/audio options I have to give it a 4/5.

I would give five stars if there were subtitles. I have problems with my hearing and I am so sad that Now TV don't see accessibility as an important priority.

Only use for watching sports. Rugby league, darts, some F1, some Golf. Pros: Good quality reliable 720p streams. Use on 2 devices at same time. Support for Chromecast. Cons: Eye watering costs. Disappointed that Chromecast counts as one of your allowed 4 devices as it can't be used without another device to initiate the steam. Biggest concern is there is no sports on demand content, why?? If I miss a rugby league game, it is NEVER repeated apart from 15 mins highlights. Yet there are 7 channels showing constant repeats of 80s, 90s and 00s sporting events. I pay £5 for Eurosport Player each month and they have extensive sports on demand content. Get it sorted Sky if you want people to stop using illegal streams.

Good app. Annoying that between box sets and catch up you can miss the first half of the latest season of something but I suppose that's a content issue rather than an issue with the app. The app is reliable.

When casting, pausing is an issue. The video pauses on the TV and on the device, but the time bar continues to tick away. Once you've tapped pause, the play button doesn't appear, just the loading icon so it's impossible to resume unless you tap somewhere on the time bar. It's very frustrating and such a massive bug that I'm surprised nobody saw it during testing. It's even more infuriating that you have to try and seek where you left off since the video continues to play even when paused.

Pathetic, for some reason if you broadcast to chromecast it thinks you have an extra device. Now I remember why I cancelled last time!

Love now, a fantastic app. Only downside is the subtitles that needs work. They are not synced with whatever is being watched. As i have tinitus it can be hard to hear what is being said.

Would be better with subtitles. I am hard of hearing and can't find subtitles anywhere.

Works well and allows you to cast to your TV in great quality. It's a pity that it doesn't cover the same range of channels that the NowTV box does

I'm really enjoying the now tv app. To be honest I use it for the sport. Thanks for the brilliant coverage of live sport. I gave it a 4 because of the price of £33.99 not sure I can afford it all the time. Also no demand. I work in sport and miss lots of live sport. Please please please can you think about putting demand on Now tv app.

No Android TV support, which is a bizarre omission. And the Chromecast playback can be a little temperamental. The service itself is pretty good though.

Pretty good all-round, 4.5 out of 5. More movies for the money. Even older films. You need to boost your choice and make it easier to find them.

You really need phone calls access? Could you tell me why you need access to make and manage my calls please.

Not bad, he limitation to only having 4 devices you can stream on is finish compared to netflix etc. Would be nice to have multiple profiles too. Would be nice to have an option to have all channels you can have on a box streamable as an extra sub. For the most part it is good though

I like the way the app is laid out and boxset choices are generally great but still really wish Now TV would automatically play follow on episodes or provide some kind of queuing facility rather than having to manually select each episode in a series/season.

works just about but two different android phones still give a crap picture blurry unwatchable tbh not happy was looking forward to a film on holiday when the weather was crap and stuck in a caravan plz fix or put a menu in to adjust picture to suit different devises

Picture quality is good, sound could be better but is Fine. It starts from the beginning. It could also do with controls to go back & forward in segments of 10 seconds. UPDATE: The above has now been added & makes navigation of video much better. Thanks NOW TV

Terrible sound quality, crashes constantly on Samsung Galaxy 7 Edge then fails to resume. Shocking app.

One star I'm afraid. Why can't i watch NowTV on my android box? HDMI playback not allowed, thanks for nothing.

Super cost efficient with all the channels I like and also pick what you want to watch whenever​ you like!

The menu layout could be improved but it runs well and I would recommend to anyone to give it a try (the subscription) and to use the app on your phone when not using it on your larger screen devices

It is well equipped with the latest movies and TV shows mutch better than sky or Netflix if there were a sixth star it deserves it no lag nor buffering one of the best

There is no ffwd and rwd 10 secs buttons as mentioned in the change log. Also why in 2017 do you not have Hd yet and also the ability to stack shows/movies to watch back to back and calendar events? Bizarre Rebooted my phone and still the new rwd and fwd buttons didn't appear in on demand content

Works no problems on my Oneplus 3. Nice to have access to the few Sky channels I'm interested without the Sky price tag and tie down.

I'm less and less happy with this app. It's streams well most of the time. However, integration with ChromeCast, which I use more and more, is buggy. It frequently crashes when trying to resume from a pause.

It doesn't support Amazon fire 8 nor Android TV box via HDMI. Crap app. Also I'm cancelling my subscription.
