My Recipes

This not parsing business is the worst thing ever IMO! I would have paid double the premium if I could import not just Food Network recipes. I need Wolfgang Puck. I will try my printed files by searching old URLs (2012, 2013) hoping for better results. Grrr. Otherwise, I still find this an acceptable substitute for writing my own. A placeholder for two images (not just one) would be great because then I would create a graphic image of Nutrition Information, which I calculate.

Using lite version, loved it. Installed payed version and lost ALL of my personal / custom recipes. I have to try to rebuild my library from memory!!!

This was a great little program but with the last update it broke. On multiple devices it now only pulls some of my recipes in the Dropbox folder and others are missing.

It won't import all my recipes from dropbox and app deletes recipes. All my recipes are still on dropbox with tags and all, but app performs a sync for like 10 mins and they never get imported. Fix this please.

I transferred all my recipes for the past 25 years to this app and am adding new ones as I make new dishes. It is with me everywhere I go so it's very accessible. Especially if I haven't used a recipe in years and need a reminder how to cook it, it's all here with notes and pics. Great app! Thanks.

When importing recipes from the web, the app only points you to the link from the saved recipe which means that if the majority of your recipes are from cooking sites your going to need internet access to retrieve them. That's a major drawback and will keep me on the search for something better. Otherwise it's an OK app but if I'd known that from the beginning, I wouldn't have purchased it. The "lite" version does not allow importing and that fact IMO makes this app a bit deceitful.

It's exactly what I need and no complaints. In future versions it would be great if we can add more than one picture per recipe. Great job & thanks :)

So far everything I had an issue with has been resolved. This is by far my favorite app & I use it daily; love all the features!!!

Use it every day - it's wonderful to sync across all devices and be able to create and maintain grocery list on my cell.

Works great on my phone, couple sync issues with my tablet. But all in all... Best app I've seen. So WORTH the purchase!

I am starting to regret getting this app. I am unable to upload pictures, and have to enter each ingredient individually. It would be useful if the dev could add some automated options like drop down menus for the ingredients.

I had Chef Tap but they want you to pay a yearly subscription. No thanks. I'm willing to pay for an app but not a yearly amount just to keep my recipes and the free version of Chef Tap only let you have a limited number of recipes. This app is just what I needed. Thanks!

I really like the app but wish you were able to separate recipes into different categories and not group them into one list. I also like that it automatically alphbetizes my recipes though! Very convenient app!!

Why would someone bother to add an image to a recipe if its so tiny u cant make out anything in it? So many good reviews thought it would be much better. There are other better apps. Wish to get refund.

Love being able to store my own recipes. Importing is very easy. The tags and filtering make it very helpful in finding specific recipes.

Love this app. Very useful. One problem, it won't let me import recipes. Always gives an error msg. 5 stars when this is fixed.

Developer when asked even changed the program for us. We could not be happier

The app does what I need it to do. I also had some technical questions that the developer was very helpful in answering.

I cannot sync new recipes since the app was updated. I have tried to be careful about following directions. I deleted and reinstalled the app 3 times. I moved my recipes out of the Dropbox folder and moved them into the coded created by the new installation. I have contacted customer support and received no response. Now I am getting a message that I need to purchase the full version...which I am using. I followed those instructions...still nothing. I love this app but now it don't work.

I love this app. The issue with adding pictures to recipes has been fixed and I couldn't be happier. Love the Dropbox sync feature.

Must have app for the cook in the family; recipes and grocery list all in one app. User friendly app; developer always replies to emails & also does follow up email to make sure fix did actually take care of the issue. Add photos to your recipes with a click of the camera or add from your gallery. Thanks Brian!

Just bought this app and already love it! Can't wait to add all my recipes to it. Thanks for an easy to use app with all the features I've been looking for. Also great that it syncs with dropbox which I've been using for a long time now.

Easy to use with tons of great features and a developer that actually listens!

All I wanted was to be able to manually enter my OWN recipes and back them up. I don't need a lot of fancy features. This app lets me enter my recipes and add my own tags for easy searching, and share via drive (and others) or sync to dropbox. It's all I wanted without any clutter. Update: got a new phone, and the sync to dropbox restored everything perfectly.

While I like the "Share to import" feature, general user interface lameness has resulted in my removal of this app in favor of the (much cleaner and user-friendly) My CookBook app. None of the UI weirdness found here. Especially vexing was the pull-right share/edit menu. Try to edit a recipe to change an ingredient or the like by swiping left-to-right. Finish your edit and swipe right-to-left and the recipe goes with it. You have to back out and reopen to correct the view... Poorly implemented at best.

This app does not allow recipes to be imported from Allreciepes, which is an app I use. Because of that, recipes cannot be organized in one place which greatly reduced the value of this app. It is understandable that recipes from small sites such as restaurants or b&b sites can't be imported, but Allreciepes is a popular app so this makes no sense to me. If that glitch were corrected, my rating would increase.

I looked at a lot of recipe apps to hold my own personal recipes. This is by far the best one I've found.

Will not allow pictures to be attached. Please fix.

Feature rich and worth av try.

I really like this app. I love how I can add recipes from my phone, my tablet or from my PC while logged into DropBox. I love that my personal recipe box is available from anywhere, and is backed up. I also really like the 'change proportions' feature - very useful! Thank-you!

Sync hasn't worked properly in a long time. I've been hoping it'd be fixed, but I think it's just finally time to give up on this one.
