About Drums for Practice
Use earbuds or plug your Droid into your amp to practice along with these drum patterns. This program is for any musicians like Guitar, Bass and Keyboard players who want to practice their music along with the drums or metronome.
This drum and metronome based program is simple to operate with everything on one screen.
- Scroll the list and touch an item to play it.
- Touch the stop button to stop.
- Use the volume slider to change volume.
The program includes various fully rendered (not midi) patterns:
- Rock drum pattern in 4 tempos
- Blues drum pattern in 5 tempos
- 3 Metal drum patterns in a total of 5 tempos
- Lead Rock drum pattern (for practicing solos) in 3 tempos
- Metronome pattern in 5 tempos
Future updates to the program will include more patterns.
- One Country pattern
- One Train pattern (you'll know it when you hear it)
- One Reggae pattern

I love this App..n i use it all the time..I am a Bass Player of 30yrs. N we BassPlayers need to keep our timing skillz sharp.. lots of fun.. But NO tempo control.. dont like that..

I've been playing bass for 12 years now and I live this app for practice. Just load it up choose the drum beat or metronome rhythm I like and jam on. I highly suggest this app for anyone who wants to just load up and jam.

As far as Drums Patters to play along with go, this App is BY FAR the best. It's still not perfect, but better than anything else out there right now... I wish they'd improve upon it. Make it bigger & better... But hey, its free!

Xoom 3.2, app is 2.03. Some patterns hesitate after the measure's last beat going into the next measure's 1st beat : rock_105, rock_120, leadrock_105, leadrock_135, blues_120, blues_145, metro_095 (very, very small delay), now for something weird -- sometimes metro_100 has a delay and other times metro_105 has the delay. Can't chg time signature...can only select bpm from list, which is adequate. Simple, basic -- very good for beginners, and even useful for veterans when you just need a quick reminder.

I run free music teaching groups.....I have finally found a great drum app for fun rhythum sessions. would be happy to pay for upgrade but cant find one. Well done.

This app is not good. If you create an app for the sole purpose of loopng beats for rehearsal you gotta care enough to make it right. Whoever said they are an instructor an love this app should refund their students because their recommendations for instructive tools sucks. The uset who wrote about this app dropping beats is mostly right ... What they are wrong about is that nearly every loop drops at least an eighth to sixteenth in 4/4 time. Could be a great app due to having a better variety of beats here
