DB Browser

I never come across more stupid app than this one, it does not have an explorer and its search function is absolutely not working

Won't display or even find settings.db. Won't even display anything from other databases that it can find... I guess it gets a star for not bricking my phone...

Would be nice if there was a way to browse through the records of a table using a text box search of some kind (instead of having to enter a query every time like "Select * from [table] where [column] like '%searchtext%' ) ... But this app is still a huge help to me.

Wow... amazing. This could turn out to be the best one. Needs some major layout work but well done sir! The best sql browser yet, keep going.

I haven't played with it much, but it seems to work with root databases (didn't check writing), has a nice look and lets me search DB names! Galaxy S

Can't use to open .DBs from a file mgr, & search is unintuitive: do you query app name? pkg? db filename? No matter: no results w any of these.D1/root

Searching for databases didn't work. Crashed trying to view data in a Google Listen podcast.db table.

Really useful app, specially for developing and testing. The only problem is that the UI needs to be improved. No problem accessing DBs with root.

I installed this on my Nook running 2.1 and it displayed some buttons text in English and some in what looks like Arabic of sorts. So wasn't really usable. Needs more work on usability aspect, but good attempt.

Clumsy interface. Bad programming (logcat full of db not closing errors). Even blocks db being in use. Out of my phone!

I don't believe that this app works above android 4.0. Great tool when it did work though.

Horrible search feature. Doesn't find databases and doesn't do much.

Crashed every time I launched it. When it didn't crash, it didn't do anything.

Crashes on my most interesting table but gave good insight on other tables. Very slow. Guess it doesn't use a cursorAdapter but an array adapter.

Works well once you understand how things work. I found, opened, and edited a settings.db. Loses 1/2 star for sparce guidance & UI. People who rate it poorly are confused.

Easy program to use. I was able to modify some settings that I needed to without having to buy another app. Thanks!

Was editing a database to enable tethering on my device, other sqlite managers will at least allow you to modify a .db stored on sdcard.

I installed this for its root-access. Sadly, I can't open _any_ DBs. This app has no file browser; instead, you "search" for the DB using ... um ... it's never made clear what the search is for. Even entering in the full filename of the DB to open would be better than this useless search nonsense!

Did not recognize any dbs on my rooted droid. Had to run a search for the db name and was able to find it that way and the db update worked.

Rooted but search never found DBs. Frustrated.

Tried quite a lot, and this one takes the prize. Especially useful on rooted devices. Ps: for those that can't figure it out, go to connections and leave the search box empty to find all db's.

As many others stated, it just doesn't work on my phone. No databases listed, no databases searchable. I have root access and program has permissions, it just doesn't work.

For a free utility I can't complain. It is fast and clean.

Just enough features to be practical, and no filler. After using the sqlite3 command line tool for so long first, i really appreciate the formatted table data. Highly recommended to complement sqlite3 binary. Thank you!

But UI needs serious work.

i wasnt able to view my backup which was in .db file format. this app made it possible to view my backups store as .db formats and saved me a lot of data! thank you! it would be nice to have an option to copy specific data from a particular row. look forward to future updates! :)
