Terrible, may as well bin my printer cos I can't print over wi-fi!

Don't work on s8 active, can't even open it, just install uninstall that works.

Does not let me print emails seems only to accept Google email accounts

You would think that a Brother app for a Brother printer would work for a Brother printer. App will not even run.

It says "can't add printers". So the app is basically useless.

Used to work. Now it doesn't. The story of my life on everything I own.

Not finding my Brother HL-3140CW, soo pretty much useless.

It used to work great. Now when I try to print from my Note5 AFTER the most recent Android update it tells me that it CANNOT ADD PRINTERS. wtf does that mean? Is it because the plug-in is no longer compatible with my phone since the update? Because I really need to be able to print from my phone

Why is printing so awfully slow? I get about one sheet per minute on my MFC9970CDW with this plugin. If I print from my computer on the same network, same printer it's very fast. It seems like the bottleneck is data transmission because the printer most of the time is just waiting for the data to arrive.

Worked perfectly prior to the April 3rd update. Now it just says "Cannot Add Printers" and searches endlessly for Printers on the Network. An entire month has passed since Brother, a professional company, released a faulty update. I and the community expect a certain level of intelligence from companies. As such testing should be done prior to releasing an update for "Bug Fixes", furthermore a Fix update shouldn't take over a month to come out. (notice: 3@ 0days+ and still waiting for a fix).

Underwhelming. Like Iprint & Scan, it cannot use my printer's duplex mode, much less advanced features like booklet printing. There is no way to store settings, so I have to change the paper format from letter size to A4 for every print job.

It's fine when it finds the IP of the printer on the network... But I have no clue how to get it to connect to my printer on the network, when it doesn't want to. My router shows the printer as visible on the network. I've restarted my router and my printer, giving each of them 20s. Not working. Brother printers are great; brother printers at networking are trash.

Does not work anymore. Thanks alot android you should test your code before release. Of course blame it on the app developer and they blame you. Back and forth we go. In the end i have lost functionality for something I pay for. Advertise that it does all these wonderful things, hook the consumer, and then make excuses why it does not work. American marketing at its best.

Worked once only. I'll go with a different of printer in future with more advanced technology. In today's interconnected world I fail to see what's difficult about about sending a print from phone but Brother can't seem to do that.

Can no longer print to my Brother printer. It worked fine for the longest time, but then it stopped working, not because of an app update. I rebooted everything, with no success. I have resorted to using a different print service. Very disappointing

Very INCONVENIENT and NOT USER FRIENDLY. Requires a lot of patience every time you want to print. App does not let you add a Brother printer. I have tried on our apple and android devices while our Brother printer is and is not connected to wifi. Web pages do not print through app. I have to screenshot everything then crop it then change the format then try to print through a different app that gives me the option to "view using" where I then select this app and choose "print" in about 3 different ways. There is another Brother printing app that I have on our iPhone and it works great but it does not work on our Android device.

Worked before! I f*n hate when u have smthg important u NEED to print & so called improvements to app make it unusable...tx 4 more stress! Be decent & take it down until it works

I downloaded this to print receipts, of things i buy for work, so i can get paid back. I am attempting to print on our printer at work. It is a MFC-7860DW. my phone is the Google pixel. I added this printer to my phones list. It will not print. This was an absolute waste of my time.

Brother printer not usable now due to software bug, ran fix tool and it worked briefly, but again the printer WILL NOT CONNECT WIRELESSLY. Every other device that is not made by Brother - fed up and will not buy another Brother machine ever!

Downloaded for work printer. Won't connect at all. My last brother printer I threw out was that frustrated with it. Absolute rubbish brother products but they don't seem to care. Only got 1 star so I could comment

I saw a message that said I had to have this app to make my style connect to the printer to to print. Still can't print. I'm nearly certain it's the phone but the app doesn't help. The whole process should be a lot simpler.

The plugin doesn't work anymore. I receive "print spool error" when I try to print. I've tried sending the documents to two different printers but it doesn't work. I have to download the actual brother printer app to print.

DONT USE THIS. it worked fine and then all of a sudden completely and utterly stopped. I tried delete it and redownload it and it never works and it was frustrating and completely a waste of my time. Would have a much easier time with the separate print and scan app.

Testing Version 1.3.0.4 of 3 April 2017: Setup seems to find my 2 printers in 8 to 48 seconds. In use it lists one printer twice, and apparently complains that the double-listed printer (where its first listing is greyed out) is "not available now". Long-selecting the greyed out printer gave me the option to "forget printer", which removed the redundant printer from the list of "All printers". That seemed to make things work better. Thanks for the fix. So far, I have only printed 2 pages at a time. I will try more later.

I'm taking away your 2 stars and leaving you with the default of 1 star. Can't print PDF or anything online or off. Same old problems. The first 3rd party app I try, prints like a charm. What do I need you for? You had one job... UPDATE: May 28/2016. Yup, still junk. First and last Brother printer I'll ever buy. 3rd party apps print no problem the 1st time. Wow. Update: Jul 02/2017 I don't print very often but when I do, this app is sure to fail me. Once again, had to use a 3rd party app (Hammermill) to do YOUR job on YOUR printer. I'm starting to think this is a fake app. Either way, it's time to repeal and replace it and make printing great again!

Used to work, doesn't see HL 1210W any more. Seems to be a pretty common problem, one would think Brother would fix it...sigh...

Would be 5 stars but the orientation option gets mixed up. For a landscape document, the app will display the document in the correct orientation but then it will print in portrait incorrectly. To fix this, I wish have to set it as portrait (and would see it display in portrait improperly in the app) but it would then print properly in landscape.

Works well, this is NOT like a regular app that puts an icon in the App folder along with an easy to find shortcut on your top screen. This is an addition to the Settings menu and not so easy to find. On my LG G3, printing options are located under "Share & connect." Once I turned it on in there, I could use it whenever an another app offers a print option

Please allow for us to communicate the static IP address for the printer in the initial setup. Every time I open the print plugin I can't find my 1110W and it is shown as greyed out. That is so despite being the printer powered on and connected to the home network. It is being discovered fine on my PC.

If it works previously. Dont act smart to change it. Pls test throughly before releasing.

Hardly ever works. Always says the printer isn't available, but I can turn and print from my laptop right next to me and it prints fine.

Excellent plugging that allows android to recognise and print to my brother printer over my home network. To those who have posted a review but clearly misunderstand what they have downloaded, this is a plugin not an app. It will not run on its own it just provides android the info it needs to find and communicate with a brother printer. If your use to Windows based systems then I guess a good analogy would be that it's a driver you are installing to allow the operating system (android in this case) to talk to the printer. So for all those who commented the plugin down because it won't "run" basically just rated there own understanding and technical competency 1 star. Slow Clap........ Brother was once great.... Not much now, and the Brother printer I have won't be hard to replace. I have a old Kodak printer that the Brother replaced. It functions wirelessly, way better than my Brother.....
